Lesson34 Modern Olympics 教学设计一．教学目标1.能够掌握课标要求的“四会”词汇：American peace2.能够了解介绍现代奥运会的表达法。
二．教学内容1.了解较少现代奥运会的常用单词，短语。
2.学习一些用于介绍现代奥运会的句式。
（1）The Olympic symbol is always the same.（2）The Olympic slogan, for example, is created by the host city.（3）The Olympic songs are always popular around the world.3.巩固形容词副词比较等级变化的用法。
三．重难点1.掌握一些与现代奥运会有关的词汇：modern motto spirit feature 。
2.学会有英语介绍现代奥运会。
3掌握相关重点句子：（1）The blue ring stands for Europe.（2）It touched many people’s hearts.（3）But one thing has always been the same--- to do the best and to compete fairly.四．教学思路本课主要涉及现代奥运会的介绍。
本课主要通过幻灯片，图片的方式向学生们展示相关奥运会的场景，并让学生简单介绍。

教学反思
本节课我以北京奥约会的背景导入，与学生们共同学习了现代奥约会的相关知识。
在学生阅读的过程中我引领学生一步步浸入文本，挖掘文本，渗透阅读策略的指导。
同时通过板书的导图引领学生对课本内容进行概括，指导学生们综合运用所学知识。
通过本节课的共同努力学生们了解了现代奥运的相关知识，能对奥运会的相同点和不同点进行表达。
由于对学生的学情考虑不足，教学设计还不够完善，教学设计的梯度还不过，语法的教学只是针对重要短语进行了口头练习，如果在进行巩固练习效果会更好。
对于语言的输出表达，除了引领学生构建框架之外，还要给他们更多的时间自己内化输出。
最后对于写作的展示还是比较仓促，教学内容环节需要再简化，精炼一些，为同学们的写作提供更加充分的时间。

Unit 6 Be a Champion!Lesson 34 Modern Olympics教学设计汉中市陕飞二中李白郧教材依据：冀教版英语八年级下册第六单元Be a Champion!第四课时Lesson 34 Modern Olympics一、设计思路1、指导思想本节课是八年级下册第六单元的第四课，本单元以奥运会和运动为主线，通过对古代奥运会、现代奥运会、梦之队及班级比赛的情况的学习，学生能够了解奥运会和运动相关的情况。
而这一课则突出了现代奥运会，将2008年北京奥运会的相关知识融入到英语的学习中。
更能引起学生的兴趣，激发学生爱国热情，为我们伟大的祖国而骄傲。
本课的教学内容和教学目标及教学重难点的设定都是以2011年英语《新课程标准》为准则，从学生的已有知识水平出发，并以交际法语言教学为理论依据。
在本堂课中，为了训练目标语言，我设置了各种不同的任务让学生来操练目标语言，并在课堂的最后假设学校所在地汉中将举办2019年的第九届青年运动会，让学生为2019年汉中举办第九届青年运动会设计会徽、吉祥物、口号或写一首会歌，让学生在学习的同时，发挥想象力和创造力。
通过这个活动，激发学生的想象力和创造力，将这大大地增强了学生的兴趣。
让学生更能贴近生活，学生成了主角，自然而然地他们就对英语感兴趣，把学英语当作一种乐趣。

Lesson34 Modern Olympics一、教材分析本单元主要是围绕奥运会和世界纪录来展开话题，通过本单元的学习，使学生了解有关奥运会的发展历史和世界纪录的相关情况，乐于接触并了解异国文化。
Lesson34主要是介绍现代奥运会的相关知识，让学生了解现代奥运会的基本信息，并敢于用英语来表述信息。
二、教学目标：1、语言知识：掌握词汇：America,peace接触词汇：continent，torch,slogan,reflect,mascot,feature,fairly短语： no matter，stand for，stay the same2、语言技能：通过本课的学习培养学生综合运用语言的能力，有效提高学生听说及阅读能力。
3、情感态度：让学生通过本课的学习，了解现代奥运会的相关知识，培养学生乐于接受异国文化的意识以及爱国情怀。
