Module4 Unit2 What’s the matter with Daming?一、课标内容本课是五年级上册第四模块的第二单元,按照《义务教育英语课程标准》的要求,本课需做到:能听懂简单的对话,在口头表达中发音清晰,能根据发音规律读出简单的单词,能演唱简单的英文歌曲。
二、设计理念以学生的发展为基本出发点,坚持兴趣为先的原则,力求体现素质教育的思想。
倡导体验、实践、参与、交流与合作的学习方式。
选取学生耳熟能详的事物,创设真实的语言情境,让新知更好的与实际生活相联系,激发学生学习英语的兴趣。
三、教材分析本课教材是外语教学与研究出版社的《新标准英语》三年级起点的第五册教材的Module4Unit2内容。
本单元主要句型是“What’s the matter with…?”及答句。
由第一部分的第一人称的回答变成第三人称的回答,是本单元的重点和难点。
通过两部分内容的学习,除了让学生学习句型和单词外,还要通过情境的创设,对话的操练,对学生渗透关心同学、帮助同学和拾金不昧的教育。
四、学情分析小学五年级学生已有两年的英语学习基础,学习兴趣较高,但在课下缺乏有效的巩固手段,练习机会不足。
针对五年级的学生竞争意识强、模仿能力强的特点,我在课堂上利用大量的图片为孩子们提供会话情景,通过小组比赛等形式激发学生学习的兴趣;同时设置真实场景,进行较大容量的语言输出,发展学生的听说能力。
五、教学目标(一)知识目标1.能听说认读单词matter、lost、sports shoes等。
2.通过操练,全部学生能初步学会运用What’s the matter with you?及其答句I lost my…(二)能力目标1.学生能熟练运用What’s the matter with…提问并根据具体情况用对应的第三人称单数来回答。
2.通过听读、自读等形式,使学生能正确理解课文内容。
(三)情感目标1.培养学生用英语思考和交流的习惯及在情境中灵活运用所学句型的能力。

二、教材分析本单元由两部分组成,第一部分内容是Ben和Lili的对话,运用的是第一单元所学的句型What’s the matter?答句是用第一人称。
这一部分的单词和句型都是学生以前熟悉的,因此只是作为一个导入,用来引入第二部分的What’s the matter with Daming?中的第三人称的变化。
第二部分的内容依然是围绕“What’s the matter with Daming?”这一中心句来展开的,由第一部分的第一人称的回答变成第三人称的回答,这也是本单元的重点和难点。
可以借鉴三年级学习过的his 、her,让学生通过复习巩固,为这节课的学习打好基础。
另外学生熟悉的school bus 和bag也会用到,而通过已经学过的shoes引出sports shoes这一全新名词,也会提升学生的自主学习能力。
通过两部分内容的学习,除了让学生学习句型和单词外,还要通过情境的创设,对话的操练,对学生渗透关心同学、帮助同学和拾金不昧的教育。

用“What’s the date?”“What day is today?”进行问答。
2)背诵Sunday---Saturday,唱课本第17页歌曲《You Know Up To June》,以此复习星期和月份的说法。
3.新课活动1)让学生拿出预先准备好的卡片,当老师读出一个单词时,同学们必须快速地举起老师所读的单词,并把它读出来。
纠正读音。
2)听录音,朗读课文,鼓励个别学生背诵或表演课文。
3)教师出示一张关于自己计划的表格。
