因此,教师要更新教学观念,特别是具有新的人才观。
要充分发挥教师在课堂教学中的主导作用,要把以教为重心逐渐转移到以学为重心,把以研究教法为重心逐渐转移到以研究学法为重心,做到教与学的最佳结合。
激发学生学习兴趣,
帮助学生形成学习动机。
学生在课堂教学过程中发挥出的主体作用反过来又促进了教师的课堂教学质量的提高。
教与学真正进入良性循环。
二、课堂教学的信息化
在新课程背景下,网络上的英语资源发展迅速,现代化的教学
手段也迅速发展,英语课堂的教学方向也是灵活的,更由于在英语教
学中,直观教学优于一般的讲解。
因此,这就需要恰当利用生动、形象的电化教学手段进行听、说训练容易使学生产生新奇感,注意力集中,犹如身临其境,加深对所学知识的理解。
教师是否能集中学生的注意力是教学成败的一个重要因素。
一
个好的课堂组织形式,将对整堂课的教学起到十分重要的作用。
在英语课前的2~3分钟,放一些简单易学、节奏鲜明的歌曲或是一些琅琅上口的英语小诗,让学生在一种轻松、愉快的氛围中进入英语课堂;或对学生进行语音训练,充分利用录音设备,多听标准的语音,让学生感知语音的优美、语调的自然流畅,以此培养学生的语感,提高学生学习英语的兴趣就显得更有必要。
三、赏识教育的渗透化
课堂教学是教师与学生情感交流的主场所,激励与赏识是主题。
因此,在课堂教学中教师应充分欣赏每位学生的长处,肯定他们点点滴滴的进步。
赏识教育的内涵包括教师的人文关怀和宽容心态。
教师的人文关怀体现在对语言教学上如何正确对待纠正错误的态度和方法,以及排除学生学习心理上的焦虑与挫折,在处理上体现关心、体贴与平等交流。
它有利于帮助学生树立学习的信心和兴趣,能用平常的心态接受新的文化、价值观,健康地树立个人的信念与意志。
课堂教学的反馈交流,是对学生认知的“假设——检验”过程,同时教师对学生表现的每一个反应都会对学生的学习情感产生不同程度的影响。
而基于真情实意的评价,激励、赏识学生的“闪光点”,会给学生带来更多的正面影响。
四、文化差异的意识化
英语作为一门语言,拥有自己的文化。
在英语教学过程中,教师渗透个人对中西文化差异的理解和尊重,这是构建深层课堂文化的实质。
《英语课程标准》五级目标主要考查学生文化意识,如对说英语的各国历史地理、风土人情、传统习俗、生活方式、文学艺术、行为规范、价值观念等方面要有初步了解,逐渐形成“英语地球村”的概念。
要培养学生对中西文化差异的理解与尊重,这不但可以帮助学生更好地了解英语国家的文化和社会风俗习惯,同时也可以扩大他们
的知识视野,开阔胸怀,拓宽思维,以便将来更好地传播我们伟大民族的文化。
五、学生地位的主体化
学生是学习的承担者,是保障其主体地位的决定者。
教师应努力做好以下两项工作:
1.引导学生明确学习英语的目的。
学生只有把学习英语的目的与自己全部生活的目标联系起来,他们才能把英语学习真正作为自己生活的一个组成部分,也才能真正增强自己的主体意识,在学习中发挥主体能动作用。
2.引导学生善于主动自我调节学习。
学生要自觉地确立学习目标,制定学习计划,总结学习方法,建立认知结构。
从学习知识、解决问题的过程中获得某种满足感,并以兴奋活跃的思维状态去面对英语语言知识和技能的学习,在加强基础知识和基本训练的同时,努力使基础知识转移为语言技能,并发展成运用英语进行交际的能力。
