And through it, I learn to appreciate the beauty lying in everyday life. This week, I was busy with my preparations for the final exams. To achieve ideal grades, I not only made a practical review plan but also followed it without any delay. Besides, I got much encouragement from both my teachers and parents, which helped me build confidence to face the challenges. Last but not least, my best friend phoned me to arrange a winter holiday trip together. All these beautiful moments make me feel delighted to move for the day ahead.67.The following Monday, Steve arrived at school earlier than usual because Miss White would give a quiz on the weekend homework. When the class bell rang, Miss White handed out the test papers. At first, Steve was so nervous that his throat was dry, and his palms were sweating. But when he saw the smile on her face, his heart was full of courage again. Steve began to focus ondoing it. Time went by quickly, and it was time to hand in the test papers. To Miss White’s surprise, Steve was the first to hand in his paper. After Miss White checked Steve’s test paper, she was in total shock! She found Steve finished all the questions and passed the test for the first time. She couldn’t wait to share the good news with Steve. When seeing the score on his paper, Steve couldn’t believe his eyes. He was wild with joy, tears of delight rolling down his cheeks. From that moment, nothing was the same for Steve. His grades got better and better and he was gradually willing to play with his classmates. It was Miss White’s care that made him confident in himself.听力原材料Text1:W: I think we should go to the theater.M: But we all like different kinds of films. As he plays, his head moves around in time to the music.Using "deep learning", Shimon was taught to write his own music. He could not only make up his own music, but do it in real time, while playing with other musicians. This is called "improvising".Now he is back with a whole bunch of new tricks. He can write the words to his own songs, and sing them. Shimon learned to write the words for the songs the same way he learned to write music ﹣ by being "fed" thousands of examples. Shimon was trained on the lyrics(歌词) to 50, 000 songs.Georgia Tech professor Gil Weinberg, who leads the Shimon project, gets Shimon going with a starting idea. Shimon then writes the lyrics based around that idea. Mr. Weinberg usually provides much of the music for the songs, but Shimon helps out there, too.Singing the songs is another story. To give Shimon a voice, the Georgia Tech team worked with experts at Pompeu Fabra University. The voice was created using AI and sounds very much like a man.Later this spring, the team plans to put out an album of about 8﹣10 of Shimon's songs. The album will be released on the music streaming service Spotify. On Monday, about 270 pilot whales got into difficulty on a sandbank at Macquarie Heads, near Strahan on Tasmania's west coast, about 190 kilometres from Hobart. Another200 of the animals were found early on Wednesday, making it Tasmania's largest recorded ________ event. The Department of Primary Industry, Parks, Water and Environment (DPIPWE) said that about a third had died.Marine biologists arrived in the area to carry out rescue operations. One of our most famous is a large black bear. They live in this area but are uncommon. Many fishermen see them during certain seasons, but they stay away from humans. Most are seen near the lake. I think you will see some of these birds the most. You have probably seen many of our local birds already. Most people mainly notice little brown birds and the birds with red chests, but there are many different types of both. My favorite bird is actually the one with the color of the sky. It is a bluebird with a black head. Right now it is spring when many animals are born. There is a lot happening in the forest because of this. However, it is also the wettest season. This is why the north path is closed. Instead, hikers will need to use the higher and older paths through the park.。
