I am so glad to know that you will come to Tibet for a visit. Now let me introduce something about Tibet for you.
Tibet, known as the “Roof of the world", belongs to the People’s Republic of China. It is located in the southwest of China. It has a population of about 2.8 million, covering an area of more than 1.2 million square kilometers. The capital city is Lhasa, which is honored as “the highest city” in the world. It has a long history of more than 700 years as well as a number of world-famous places of interest, such as the Potala Palace. Since the liberation of Tibet on May. 23rd, 1951, it has made great progress in politics, economy and culture.
