呼啸山庄15章读后感中英文After reading the fifteenth chapter of "Wuthering Heights," I was left with a profound sense of the depths of human emotion and the complexities of love and revenge. This chapter, like the others, delves into the raw and oftenbrutal dynamics of the characters inhabiting the Yorkshire moors. The story, as told through the multiple narratives, continues to unravel the tangled relationships between the Earnshaw and Linton families. The intensity of Heathcliff's character is particularly striking; his love for Catherine is as passionate as his desire for vengeance against those who have wronged him. This chapter highlights the duality of his nature—capable of deep affection and yet consumed by a drive for retribution that knows no bounds. The use of setting in this chapter is also noteworthy. The isolated and harsh landscape of the moors mirrors the emotional turmoil of the characters, creating an atmosphere that is as bleak as the feelings of betrayal and heartbreak that pervade the narrative. One of the most striking aspects of this chapter is the author's exploration of the theme of social class and its impact on the characters' lives. The constraints of societal expectations and the pressure to conform are evident, adding another layer of conflict to the already tumultuousrelationships within the story. In conclusion, the fifteenth chapter of "Wuthering Heights" is a powerful reminder of the destructive power of unchecked emotions and the tragic consequences of a lifedriven by revenge. It is a chapter that resonates with the reader long after the book is closed, leaving one to ponderthe nature of love, hate, and the human capacity for both.阅读《呼啸山庄》第十五章后,我深刻感受到了人类情感的深度和爱情与复仇的复杂性。

【节选片段】Chapter 1Mr Lockwood visits Wuthering Heights1801 I have just returned from a visit to my landlord①, Mr Heathcliff. I am delighted with the house I am renting from him. Thrushcross Grange(画眉山庄) is miles away from any town or village. That suits me perfectly. And the scenery here in Yorkshire is so beautiful!Mr Heathcliff, in fact, is my only neighbour, and I think his character is similar to mine. He does not like people either.“My name is Lockwood,” I said, when I met him at the gate to his house. “I’m renting Thrushcross Grange from you. I just wanted to come and introduce myself.”He said nothing, but frowned②, and did not encourage me to enter. After a while, however, he decided to invite me in.“Joseph, take Mr Lock wood’s horse!” he called. “And bring up some wine from the cellar!” Joseph was a very old servant, with a sour③ expression on his face. He looked crossly up at me as he took my horse.“God help us! A visitor!” he muttered④ to himself. Perhaps there were no other servants, I thought. And it seemed that Mr Heathcliff hardly ever received guests. His house is called Wuthering Heights. The name means “a windswept house on a hill”, and it is a very good description. The trees around the house do not grow straight, but are bent by the northwind, which blows over the moors every day of the year. Fortunately, the house is strongly built, and is not damaged even by the worst wi nter storms. The name “Earn·Shaw” is cut into a stone over the front door.Mr Heathcliff and I entered the huge main room. It could have been any Yorkshire farmhouse kitchen, except that there was no sign of cooking, and no farmer sitting at the table. Mr Heathcliff certainly does not look like a farmer. His hair and skin are dark, like a gipsy’s, but he has the manners of a gentleman. He could perhaps take more care with his appearance, but he is handsome. I think he is proud, and also unhappy. We sat down by the fire, in silence.“Joseph!” shouted Mr Heathcliff. No answer came from the cellar, so he dived⑤ down there, leaving me alone with several rather fierc—looking dogs. Suddenly one of them jumped angrily up at me, and in a moment all the others were attacking me. From every shadowy corner in the great room appeared a growling animal, ready to kill me,it seemed.Notes:① landlord房东、店主、地主。

Wuthering Heights which has long been one of the most popular and highly regarded novels in English literature, it has a secure position in the canon of world literature. As a shattering presentation of the doomed love between the passionate Catherine and Heathcliff, it remains one of the most haunting love stories in all of literature. In Wuthering Heights,Nature is represented by the Earnshaw family and especially Catherine and Heathcliff. These characters are governed by their emotions, not by reflection or ideals of civility. Wuthering Heights symbolized a similar wildness. On the other hand, Thrushcross Grange and the Linton family represent culture, refinement, convention, and cultivation. Wuthering heights, through a love tragedy, presented a picture of deformity of the social life and Outlines a kind of humanity twisted by society and all kinds of terrible events. The story ended with Heathcliff’s suicide. He died for love and his death shows his love to Katherine. He gave up the revenge to the younger generation after he knew that young Catherine and Harleton had fallen in love with each other shows that he was kind in nature. It was the cruel reality that twisted his humanity and made him become brutal and heartless. This kind of recovery of humanity was sublimation in spirit and it glared a kind of humanitarian ideal of the author and endows the terrible love tragedy some hope. Therefore, Heathcl iff’s change of “love---hate---revenge---a recovery of hum anity” is not only the essence of the novel but also a clue throughout the whole novel. According to the clue, the author arranged an unpredictable scene for us. Sometimes it was the moor full of clouds, sometimes it was courtyard with a sudden rain and wind. The story has always been shrouded in a kind of mysterious and horrible atmosphere. The novel is actually structured around two parallel love stories, the first half of the novel told about the love between Catherine and Heathcliff, while the rest dramatic second half told developing love between young Catherine and Harleton. In contrast to the first, the latter tale ends happily, restoring peace and order to Wuthering Heights and Thrushcross Grange. The most important feature of young Catherine and Harleton’s love story is that it involves growth and change. Early in the novel Harleton seems brutal, savage, and illiterate, but over time he becomes a loyal friend to young Catherine and learns to read. Catherine and Heathcliff’s love, on the other hand, is rooted in their childhood and is marked by the refusal to change. In choosing to marry Edgar, Catherine seeks a more genteel life, but she refuses to adapt to her role as wife, either by sacrificing Heathcliff or embracing Edgar. Catherine and Heathcliff’s love is based on their shared perception that they are identical. As Catherine declares, “I am Heathcliff,” while Heathcliff, upon Catherine’s death, said that he cannot live without his “soul,” meaning Catherine.Catherine’s betrayal and her bitter destiny was the turning point of the whole story. It made Heathcliff change his love to hate. After Catherine died, the hate became the motivation of his revenge. He successfully attained his objective. Not only he let Edgar and the Linton died in desolation and possessed their property but also let their innocent younger generation experience the hardships. This kind of crazy revenge clearly showed his uncommon and rebellious behavior. This special spirit of revolt was formed by the special environment and his special character. Heathcliff’s love tragedy was a tragedy of the society and that time.Wuthering Heights was known as “most strange novel”in the history of English literature and it was an unpredictable "strange book". The reason is that it was different from the sentimentalism that lies in the works of the same age. It replaced the deep sadness and depression with intense love, brutal hate and ruthless revenge. Itjust like a strange lyric poem, imagination and intensive emotion existed among the words and between the lines and it had a kind of amazing artistic power.。
WutheringHeights(呼啸山庄)1970经典电影英文影评Wuthering Heights(呼啸山庄)1970Laurence Olivier and Merle Oberon take on the roles of Emily Bronte's star-crossed lovers in this 1930s adaptation of the classic novelSamuel Goldwyn said that this was his favourite of all the films he produced. It received no fewer than eight Oscar nominations back in the days when that really meant something and critics have often said that it's the greatest romantic film ever made. Unfortunately, for modern audiences at least, it doesn't live up to these grand expectations. The "vagabond gypsy boy" Heathcliff (played as a child by Rex Downing) arrives at Wuthering Heights and is taken in by the kind owner, Earnshaw (Kellaway). Heathcliff and the young Cathy Earnshaw (Sarah Wooton as the child) quickly become inseparable, though Heathcliff is loathed by the brattish Hindley (Scott) who spends most of his time horse-whipping him and throwing fake looking stones at his head. This is the weakest section of the film - the children slip in and out of American accents and Yorkshire burrs, the whiney, highly strung score is intrusive and the composition of the scenes is clumsy right down to the lighting (candles give off impossible light, shadows fall in the wrong direction). Fans of the book may have trouble accepting the camp, hammy Olivier as the dark and brooding Heathcliff and his performance lacks the power and bleakness necessary for a man consistently likened to "the devil himself". Furthermore, the landscape doesn't really look like Yorkshire and the screenplay is at first clunky and crude. Ben Hecht's and Charles MacArthur's episodic narrative jumps through the yearsat an alarming rate with clumsy interjections from a storytelling servant Ellen Dean (Robson) to keep slower audience members -and her entirely superfluous interlocutor Mr Lockwood (Mander) -abreast of what's going on. Fortunately matters improve as time moves on and the action intensifies. Heathcliff disappears and Cathy (now played by Merle Oberon) breaks both their hearts by marrying the moneyed Edgar Linton (David Niven). There are some genuinely intense scenes and Oberon is consistently impressive as the wild yet vulnerable Cathy, while Olivier musters some tenderness for the tragic and impressive final scenes. VerdictA torrid half an hour of passion at the end of this picture doesn't quite make up for the hour of drudgery that goes before it. And Laurence Oiivier's Heathcliff is nothing like as impressive as Timothy Dalton's from 1971.1。

Here is a comprehensive English review of "Wuthering Heights" by Emily Bronte: Title: A Reflection on Wuthering Heights by Emily BronteReading "Wuthering Heights" by Emily Bronte was an emotionally intense and thought-provoking experience. The novel, set in the bleak Yorkshire moors, tells a tale of love, revenge, and the complexities of human nature that resonates deeply with readers even today.1. The Setting and AtmosphereThe setting of Wuthering Heights is one of its most striking features. The desolate moors, with their wild and untamed beauty, serve as a backdrop that mirrors the tumultuous emotions of the characters. The harsh environment creates an atmosphere of isolation and despair, making the story all the more immersive and powerful.2. The CharactersEmily Bronte has created a cast of characters that are both complex and unforgettable. Heathcliff and Catherine Earnshaw are at the heart of the story, and their passionate yet doomed love affair drives the plot forward. Heathcliff, an orphan adopted by the Earnshaw family, is a fiercely independent and vengeful individual. His love for Catherine is all-consuming, but their social differences and Catherine's eventual betrayal lead him on a path of revenge. Catherine, on the other hand, is a wild and free-spirited young woman who is torn between her love for Heathcliff and her desire for a more conventional life with Edgar Linton.Other characters, such as Hindley Earnshaw and Isabella Linton, add depth and complexity to the story. Hindley's cruelty and jealousy towards Heathcliff contribute to the latter's descent into madness, while Isabella's naive love for Heathcliff leads to her downfall.3. The Theme of Love and RevengeThe novel explores the themes of love and revenge in a way that is both tragic and compelling. Heathcliff's obsession with Catherine and his subsequent revenge on the Linton family are the driving forces behind much of the plot. However, the novel also shows that revenge is a hollow victory, as it ultimately leads to more pain and suffering. The love between Heathcliff and Catherine, though intense, is doomed from the start due to their incompatible social backgrounds and Catherine's own indecision.4. The Writing StyleEmily Bronte's writing style is unique and highly effective. She employs a narrative structure that is non-linear and often confusing, but this adds to the sense of mysteryand intrigue. The novel is also filled with vivid descriptions of the moors and the characters' inner turmoil, making it a rich and immersive reading experience.5. Final ThoughtsOverall, "Wuthering Heights" is a masterpiece of English literature that deserves to be read and appreciated by all. It is a story of love, revenge, and the human condition, and its themes and characters remain relevant today. Emily Bronte's talent for creating complex and unforgettable characters, as well as her ability to evoke powerful emotions through her writing, make "Wuthering Heights" a truly remarkable work of fiction. In conclusion, reading "Wuthering Heights" was a powerful and unforgettable experience. It is a novel that stays with you long after you have finished reading it, and its themes and characters continue to resonate in your mind. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a challenging and thought-provoking read.。
呼啸山庄英文读后感300词左右Reflections on "Wuthering Heights""Wuthering Heights" by Emily Brontë is a profound exploration of the complexities of love, hate, and their blurred boundaries. Set against the backdrop of the Yorkshire moors, this gothic novel tells the tale of Catherine Earnshaw and Heathcliff, two souls entangled in a web of passions that transcend the societal norms of their time. What captivated me most about this story was the raw, unfiltered emotion it evoked. Catherine and Heathcliff's relationship is not one of traditional love; it's a tumultuous dance of desires, jealousy, and vengeance. Theirs is a love that knows no bounds, one that survives the test of time and transforms into something deeper and more profound than mere affection. The setting of Wuthering Heights also plays a pivotalrole in shaping the narrative. The isolation and harshness of the moors mirror the characters' inner landscapes, reflecting their isolated and tormented existences. The natural world becomes a character in itself, a constant witness to the emotional upheavals within the story.Emily Brontë's writing style is truly remarkable. Her use of imagery and symbolism is masterful, creating a world that is both vivid and haunting. She masterfully crafts each character, giving them depth and complexity, making their emotions resonate with the reader.Reading "Wuthering Heights" was an emotional journey that left me deeply moved. It's a story that explores the darkest depths of the human soul and reminds us that love, no matter how twisted or painful, has the power to transform us in ways we never imagined. It's a timelesstale that continues to resonate with readers across the globe, a testament to Emily Brontë's genius as a storyteller.。

《呼啸山庄》英文读后感篇一:呼啸山庄英文读后感A Book Report of Wuthering Heights英语三班王璇 20123704Wuthering Heights is a book of Emily Bronte, published in 1847.Wuthering Heights was not well received or appreciated by the reading public, many of whom condemned it as sordid, vulgar, and unnatural--and author Emily Bronte went to her grave in 1848 believing that her only novel was a failure. It was not until 1850, when Wuthering Heights received a second printing with an introduction by Emily's sister Charlotte, that it attracted a wide readership. Today it is widely recognized as one of the great novels of English literature. It is in my middle high school that the first time I read its Chinese version and I indulged in its intricate plot and love and hate between Catherine Earnshaw and Heathclif. Hitherto, I wander why the title of this book named Wuthering heights instead of Thrushcross Grange, or Heathclif Vengeance. As a matter of fact, when I read twice in English version and look up some information online, I seem to understand the intention of the author a bit. Wuthering is used to describe Yorkshire how bad weather it is. We can find “?Wuthering? being a provincial adjective, descriptive of the atmospheric tumult to which its station is exposed in stormy weather” in book. Meanwhile, “Wuthering” implyauthor tell readers a twisting and sad story. To return to the novel itself, I am quite curious about the gothic elements reflected in Wuthering Heights. After finishing reading the whole story, it casts a gloom over my heart. I consider it contributes to the characters? unfortunate and miserable lives and grieve for them. At present, I learn a new writing style “ the Gothic novel”.The Gothic creates feelings of gloom, mystery, and suspense and tends to the dramatic and the sensational, like incest, diabolism, necrophilia, and nameless terrors. It crosses boundaries, mixed daylight and the dark side, life and death, consciousness and unconsciousness. Most of us immediately recognize the Gothic elements when we encounter it in novels, poetry, plays, movies and TV series. Gothic elements have made their way into mainstream writing. They are found in Charlotte Bronte?s Jane Eyre, Samuel Coleridge?s Christabel and so on.In order to create a horrible and mysterious atmosphere, the story of Wuthering Heights takes place in Yorkshire moors. In addition, Emily? s life experience coincides with those of Gothic heroines:loss of love, struggle, and death. The love between Heathcliff and Catherine is the main striking plot. Sunshine, sweet, and smile are not the main parts of their love, by contrast, the mixture of gloom, hatred , and misunderstanding becomesdominant tone in their love. This is why their love is being gradually developed into crazy and tragedy. As matter of fact, Heathcliff and Catherine are the leading role in this novel. Through Emily?s graphic description, the images of them are vigorous. As for Heathcliff, he is a gypsy looking little boy that he was brought to Catherine?s house by her father. However, he was bullied by Catherine?s brother and he lives a very hard time in this house. Apart from Catherine, she is kind to him and loves him. Hence, Heathcliff grows brutal and sullen. When he is informed of Catherine marring Edgar Linton, who is richer and higher status than himself, all his power to endure abuse are impaired immediately. Afterwards, Heathcliff run away. Three years later, he returns Wuthering heights with a big sum of money. Superficially, he is gentle and cultivated; actually, he burns a fire of revenge within his heart. He revenges himself on those who has hurt him in planned, such as, prevailing on Hindley gambling so as to squander all of his money; maltreating Hindley? son and teaching him abused words and ordering him to do servant?s jobs; inheriting Isabella?s family estate by means of cheating. Everyone will grit your teeth resentfully. In additional, the author doesn?t tell readers how Heathcliff becomes a richer and what methods used within three years to earn those money. We can imagine that he must employ the meanest of tricks due to his lack of educationand know-how basing on the society.Undeniably, it is Heathcliff that cause a serial of unfortunate things led to the misery of the two family, three households, and three generations. As a saying goes, “a person?s poor situation can always attribute to h is own fault.” Vice versa: maybe a hateful person has to do something bad for some reasons. In Heathcliff?s opinion, everything he did is regarded as a sign of loving Catherine, who betrayed him and become the Edgar?s wife though. Therefore, Heathcliff is the most tragic figure who has to suffer from the pain of lost loved one, and experiences persistent distress and annoy in the process of revenging. Summing up his life, Heathcliff is in constant sorrow through his days. In the end, I don?t hate him; on the contrary, the one thing I learned is tolerance and appreciation of people surrounding you.Catherine is an innocent and kind-hearted girl. She is the only one who cares about Heathcliff when he is discriminated and ill-treated after Mr. Earnshaw?s death. Meanwhile, she is peacockish, willful. When she is faced with choices which one she should marry, Heathcliff or Linton, she finally decides to marry a rich second generation, Edgar Linton. The reason is that marring Linton could make her become a much richer person and live a decent life while marring Heathcliff will turn out to be beggar. And all of her characteristics are closely connectedwith her family, and living environment and noble status.Admittedly, it?s hard to say whether Heathcliff and Catherine will live a happy life or not if she waits Heathcliff?s come and marries him; it?s also hard to say whether those figures in the novel has good results ornot in life. Methinks, I cannot rewrite the ending of this story. Just like a famous saying: character depends on destiny because their fate has been destined at the onset of this story.Alexander Pope once said, “always forgives your enemies--nothing annoys them so much.” What I have learned from their story is that if you are deliberately trying to hurt others, it will hurt yourself in return, and you will be the most miserable person. Therefore, be kind to those who once hurt you. Hard as forgiveness is, it is the first step to regain the life of well-being.篇二:呼啸山庄英文读后感Wuthering HeightsLove belongs to the best part of human nature; "" Hate "is the distortion ofhumanity, is the fall of humanity. The hero of the novel heathcliff's" love ", due to the setbacks made him become callous, terminating, his revenge to Wuthering Heights and thrushcross grange two families has brought severe disaster. He tried to freeze humanaround his absolute rule set up by using the "hate".But in the younger generation of hareton. Earnshaw and Catherine. Between linton, and finally to establish a sincere love, frozen, numbness of recovery of humanity, suppressed the human nature in the "love" the return of the liberation, the people have hope again. Through the novel, the author want to tell people in the world: "hate" destroy love, "love" more powerful than hate. In the real world, the last is "love" in the world. Emily. In 1819, Emily Bronte was born in a poor priest family, her father Pater Rick Brandt is an Irish priest, and her mother gave birth to six children. The Bronte sisters, two daughters and a son. Because of the family backgrounds, Emily was borned to be independent, open-minded, pure, and introverted."Wuthering Heights" is one of the works of Emily Bronte, also is one of the masterpieces in the 19th century of British literature. This is a story of love and revenge. "Wuthering Heights" is written by the time span of thirty years, describes a complex emotional relationships of two generations between the Earnshaw family and Linton family. The whole novel can be divided into four parts. The first phase describes the daily life of Heathcliff and Catherine's childhood, their special affection is formed in this particular environment aswell as their revolt against the tyrannical Hindley. The second phase focuses on the Catherine pursuit of the traditional of human love and betrayed Heathcliff and she became the mistress of thrush. She admitted to Donnelly that her love to Linton who is young, handsome man. He loves her as well as her wealth, let her to become the most distinguished woman. Catherine has said: "In my heart and soul, I clearly know I was wrong." Because she also loves Heathcliff. The third stage use a large pen and ink describingthat Heathcliff’s revenge. The last part of nove l is the death of Heathcliff, but revealed a new change in the thinking experience - the recovery of humanity when he understood the love between Hareton and Catherine' so we can see a bunch a hope in the tragic love story. In the novel, all of the author's effort was to create the image of Heathcliff where she pinned all her indignation, compassion and ideals. This orphan has been deprived all of the warmth of human, Hendry’s hit let him tasted the cruel of life, also he knows that his gave up to life can not change the fate of their own humiliation. He chose to resist. Catherine had been his loyal partners. However, Catherine finally betrayed Heathcliff, married Edgar Linton. This is her own choice between the loves. At the end of the book, there are three tombs on the fields, the Linton tomb, the Heathcliff, the middle is Catherine's tomb. Catherine's betrayal of their marriageand miserable fate is the most significant turning point in the book. Catherine’s death is the objective of Heath cliff. His revenge not only let Hendry and Edgar died miserable, but also made the next generation to suffer the bitter pills. This crazy revenge is ueasonable but vividly expressed the hate and love. In the minds of women writers, love and hate is opposition but can be transformed into each other. Therefore, love and hate are opposite to each other, but also with each other uniform.Undeniable, Heathcliff and Catherine loved each others but they all lost themselves in the love relationships. Catherine married Linton because of vanity, Heathcliff thought that he had been betrayed and began to crazy avenges. Their love is the most wonderful part of the novel also the source of the tragic.I want to use one sentence to conclude the whole novel, it could be that everyone made their wrong choice in a wrong time and eventually made the tragic life, everyone regretted in the end of their life and let the next generations to suffer. We all know that the ending can’t be revolted but we’d like to see that everyone has struggled for love and happiness.王钰20123949125班外国语声明:本文来源于网络,著作权属归原创者所有。

对呼啸山庄的评价篇一Thoughts or reflections on reading Wuthering HeightsThe book was written by Emily Bronte, it published in 1847.But at that time, it seemed to hold little promise, selling very poorly and receiving only a few mixed reviews. I found this in our schoollibrary, I chose this book because the title attracted me. The book is structured around two parallel love stories, the first half of the novel centering on the love between Catherine and Heathcliff, while the less dramatic second half features the developing love between young Catherine and Hareton. In contrast to the first, the latter tale ends happily, restoring peace and order to Wuthering Heights and Thrushcross Grange. In the story, the two houses, Wuthering Heights and Thrushcross Grange, represent opposing worlds and values.I spent twenty days reading this book. After reading this book, I felt for Heathcliff at first. Heathcliff begins his life as a homeless orphan on the streets of Liverpool, and then he tyrannized by Hindley Earnshaw. But he becomes a villain when he acquires power and returns to Wuthering Heights with money and the trappings of a gentleman. His malevolence proves so great and long—lasting. As he himself points out, his abuse of Isabella—his wife is purely sadistic, as he amuses himself by seeing how much abuse she can take and still come cringing back for more.Catherine represents wild nature, in both her high, livelyspirits and her occasional cruelty. She loves Heathcliff so intensely that she claims they are the same person. However, her actions are driven in part by her social ambitions, which initially are awakened during her first stay at the Lintons, and which eventually compel her to marry Edgar. Catherine is free—spirited, beautiful, spoiled, and often arrogant, she is given to fits of temper, and she is tornbetween her both of the men who love her. The location of her coffin symbolizes the conflict that tears apart her short life. She is buried in a corner of the Kirkyard. In contrast to Catherine, Isabella Linton—Catherine’s sister—in—law represents culture and civilization, both in her refinement and in her weakness. Ultimately, she ruins her life by falling in love with Heathcliff. He never returns her feelings and treats her as a meretool in his quest for revenge on the Linton family.Just as Isabella Linton serves as Catherine’s foil, Edgar Linton serves as Heathcliff’s. Edgar grows into a tender, constant, but cowardly man. He is almost the ideal gentleman. However, this full assortment of gentlemanly characteristics, along with his civilized virtues, proves useless in Edgar’s clashes with his foil.对呼啸山庄的评价篇二In this summer, I read another book Wuthering Heights. Wuthering Heights is written by Emily Bronte. She is just like Heath Cliff, doesn’t know how to love at all./r/nAnyway, Wuthering Heights left an indelible impression onme, cold and withering. However, at the end of the book, the author shows us that the human being’s kindness is not diminished at Wuthering heights, even though the wind can break off a tree, that doesn’t mean it can break off the whole forest. Even though hatred destroyed Heath Cliff, Catherine, Edgar and Elizabeth’s happiness, that doesn’t mean Cathy and Haret on’s happiness.Uncaring or unsympathizing parents are shown throughout this story to be an element of destructive relationships. Because Heathcliff gained all the attention from Mr. Earnshaw, Hindley became disassociated from his father. This separation continued until after Mr. Earnshaw had died.Another example is between Hindley and Hareton. Hindley became such a drunk and a gambler that he could not properly care for young Hareton. This led to a separation between Hareton and his father as well. One primary example of an uncaring parent is shown between Heathcliff and his son Linton.Heathcliff did not even want his son for anything except enacting a part of his revenge. This is shown by Linton's fear of Heathcliff and Heathcliff's enmity toward his son. Linton even says "... my father threatened me, and I dread him - I dread him!"(244) to express his feeling about Heathcliff. The hostility and separation between father and son in this book shows that uncaring parents can cause serious damage in relationships with their children.对呼啸山庄的评价篇三In this summer, I read another book Wuthering Heights. Small Catherine and Hareton inherit all the property and they finally fall in love with each other.Actually, there isn’t such a character that I really like in Wuthering Heights. Every character seems teemed with agony and animosity, especially Heath Cliff. Heath Cliff is an orphan before Mr. Earnshaw adopts him, and in the novel, Mr. Earnshaw treats Heath Cliff even nicer than his own son, Hindley Earnshaw. It’s quite amazing that in spite of Earnshaw’s nice treatment, Heath Cliff has no gratitude at all, he revenged Hindley and Catherine, even their heirs. After reading Heath Cliff’s story, my feeling is complicated, although he is the avenger who dominate the whole story by using his vengeful machinations, he is also the most pitiful guy in Wuthering Heights; he doesn’t know what is love and don’t know how to love. Heath Cliff has lived with the Earnshaws for more than 10 years, but there is no attachment between him and the whole family except Catherine. However, even Catherine was died because of Heath Cliff’s torture. When he is torturing others, he is also giving himself a suffering.Catherine, the heroine in the book, is described as a capricious and selfish girl. In order to meet the needs of social development, I earnestly study all kinds of professional knowledge and give full play to my specialty. We will tap their own potentials and combine with the opportunity of summer social practice every year to gradually improve their ability of learning and analyzing and dealing with problems.Coordination of organizational and managerial competencies.Three years of college life is the key point of my life. Three years of campus life and social practice I continue to challenge themselves, enrich themselves, to achieve the value of life and lay a solid foundation. Has always been that people should be old to learn the old I am knowledgeable, the meticulous of the professional, which has been affirmed in the results, each year have been third - class scholarships. In not satisfied with the theory of course, but also focus on practice.Learning, I did not let myself down, the results have been among the best.Scholarships are awarded each year. I am a mechanical and electrical professional, know not only the theoretical knowledge, but also practical ability, so I often participate in practical activities. Now is the information age, learning the professional at the same time, I also conducted a computer learning, through efforts to get the national computer grade three. I learned a lot of new things, I am very willing to help people who need help, and greatly improve their self-learning ability. Then there is learned to use the learning method at the same time pay attention to independent thinking. To learn hard only hard to learn is not enough, to learn "methods" to do things.I have come here to learn the purpose of "fishing", but it is easier said than done, I changed a good many ways to do what is diligent in thinking, the case of the old man, There do not know where to diligent to ask.In learning, to "independent thinking" as their motto, always remember not to alert. With the progress of learning, I not only learned the basic knowledge of the public and a lot of professional knowledge, my mind has also been a qualitative leap, to a more rapid grasp of a new technical knowledge, I think this is very important for the future. In the study of knowledge this time, I and teachers to establish a strong friendship between teachers and students. The teacher's earnest teaching, so I realized the fun of learning. Now I have to face graduation, is doing graduate design, I became the design team leader, but also exercise the self-hands and analysis of problem-solving ability, benefit.Ideologically, the fine style, treat people sincere, can better deal with interpersonal relations, doing things calm and stable, can reasonably arrange the affairs of life. And has been in the pursuit of personality sublimation, pay attention to their own conduct. I worship people who have great charisma, and have always wanted to be able to do it myself. Now I understand the reason, willing to help others not only to cast a noble character, but also get a lot of their own interests to help others but also to helpthemselves. Looking back over the past few years, I have been very happy to have helped the students when I was in trouble. Similarly, my classmates also gave me a helping hand when I was in trouble. For the teacher, I have always been very respected, because they are in a loss when I guide to help me. Without the help of a teacher, I might not know where to go. I now realize that character is not so much a personal character to run, as it is the responsibility of the individual society as a whole. A person living in this world, you have to bear some responsibility to the community obligations, with a noble character, you can correctly understand their responsibilities, in the contribution to achieve their own value.Life, I use spare time and vacation time outside to find part-time, do tutoring, but also exercise my social skills. The trees around the house do not grow straight, but are bent by the north wind, which blows over the moors every day of the year. Fortunately, the house is strongly built, andis not damaged even by t he worst winter storms.
