序数词的用法
表示事物的顺序的数词叫序数词。
• 序数词可表示日期“几月几日”中的“几日” 如: August 17th 8月17日 October 1st 10月1日
其余两位 将相应基数词 twenty-one → twenty-first 第二十一；

巧记歌诀
一、二、三，t, d, d，其它后＋th。 八去t, 九去e，字母f把ve替，然后再加-th。 遇到几十几，只变个位就可以。 序数词，表顺序，一般须加定冠词。
序数词的用法
表示事物的顺序的数词叫序数词。
• 1.序数词要加定冠词the。但当序数词前有物主代词(his, her…)、指示代词(this, that…)等修饰时，则不必再用the。 March is the third month of a year. 三月是一年中的第三个月份。 My mother is my first teacher. 我的妈妈是我的第一位老师。
