Unit4 Then and now教学设计

教学目标

1.复习单词和词组:dining hall,grass,gym,ago。

2.能听、说、读、写句子:There was no library in my old school.Tell us about your

school, please. How do you know that? There were no computers or Internet in my

time.

3.能听、说、认读单词和词组:star,easy,look up,Internet;句子:Could you

see stars at night? The Americans took about five days to get there in 1969.1 looked-

it up on the Internet.

教学重难点

1.重点:学习句子:There was no library in my old school. Tell us about your school,

please. How do you know that? There were no computers or Internet in my time.

2.难点:能正确使用一般过去时和一般现在时。

教学准备:1.课文挂图和配套VCD。 2.单词卡。 3.录音机和磁带。

教学过程

一、热身(Warm-up) 1.师生问候。 2.Sing the song.

二、复习(Revision)

1.复习词语:school,library,playground,computer room,art room,music room,dining hall,grass,gym。教师先出示图片,让学生看图说词语,然后再出示单词卡片,抽读词语,最后全班拼读生词。

2.活动:真真假假

活动方式:教师随机出示一张单词卡,如出示单词卡grass,教师读grass,表达是正确的,那学生就立即跟读单词grass。如果教师读成gym,学生就不能跟读并要说:No.该活动用小组竞赛的形式进行,给反应快的小组加分,当教师表达不正确时,如果有学生跟读不正。

(1)教师播放A. Let's talk部分的录像,要求学生带着问题看录像:What was

Grandpa's school like?录像播完后,让学生回答问题。
