Module 1 Unit 1 语法要点表感觉和知觉的系动词及其意义系动词起联系作用,本身有词义,但不能单独用作谓语,后边必须跟表语(亦称补语)构成系表结构说明主语的状况、性质、特征等情况。
表感觉和知觉的系动词也叫感官动词。
所谓感官动词就是指那些反映人的器官的动词。
这类系动词有look“看起来”,feel“摸起来;感觉”,sound“听起来”,taste“尝起来”,smell“闻起来”等,这类系动词没有被动语态形式,不用进行时。
用法1. 感官动词常用物作主语,feel,look的主语既可以是人也可以是物。
The sweater feels soft. 这件毛衣摸起来很柔软。
She looks worried about something. 她看起来在担心一些事情。
2. 感官动词后常接名词、不定式、分词或形容词作表语。
Shall we go to the concert after dinner?我们在晚餐后去听音乐会怎么样?That sounds a good/great idea. 那听起来是个不错的/好主意。
I’m feeling better after taking the medicine. 服了药之后我感觉好多了。
3. 感官动词也可作实义动词,除look(当“看”讲时)只能作不及物动词外,其余四个即可作及物动词也可作不及物动词,其主语通常是人。
He tasted the tomato soup and it tasted a little salty. 他尝了尝这西红柿汤,它尝起来有点咸。
She put her hand into the water and felt it. It felt hot. 她把手放进水里试了试。
水试起来很热。
4. 感官动词的疑问句、否定句。
感官动词和be动词不同,变疑问句和否定句时要加助动词。
规则同行为动词。
Does the fish taste fresh?这鱼尝起来鲜吗?The cheese doesn’t taste strong. You may have a try. 奶酪口味不重。
