主从复合句:
主从复合句是由一个主句和一个或一个以上的从句构
成的。
主句作为句子的主体,从句只能作句子的一个次要成分,不能独立成为一个句子。
含有两个或更多主谓结构的句子,其中有一个(或更多)主谓结构充当整个句子的某一(些)成分。
充当定语的句子叫定语从句,充当状语的句子叫状语从句,充当主语、宾语、表语或同位语的句子叫名词性从句。
主句与从句之间用关联词连接起来。
关联词除了在主句与从句之间起连接作用外,绝大多数不但本身有意义,而且还要在从句中充当句子成分。
但是,引导名词性从句的whether或if有“是否”之意,但不在从句中充当句子成分,引导名词性从句的that没有任何意义,也不在从句中充当句子成分。
