一、单元学习主题
本课主题属于“人与社会”主题范畴中“社会服务与人际沟通”这一主题群,涉及子主题“良好的人际关系与人际交往”。

二、单元内容分析
本单元分为Section A与Section B两部分,主要围绕话题“Decision making”展开听、说、读、写、看等语言活动。

本单元共有两个主要语篇,第一个语篇是对话的形式,讲述了Jeff和Ben如何为聚会做准备;第二个语篇通过讲述Laura的故事,探讨青少年如何解决生活中的问题,并给出了相关专家的建议。

两个语篇不仅为我们传递了不同的语言知识和语篇知识,也传递了“文明交际,正确认识生活的烦恼并合理表达自己的观点”的育人价值。

俱乐部经纪人从未来旅行(travel)和成名(be famous)两方面鼓励Michael加入足球俱乐部,而Michael父母从上大学(go to college)和未来工作(job)两方面不建议Michael加入足球俱乐部。
