With the influence of these advertisements and the change of notion, an increasing number of Chinese people have undergone cosmetic surgery. Many people believe that cosmetic surgery can beautify their appearance and bring lots of benefits. However, in my view, it is unwise to take cosmic surgery due to its great risks, bad psychological effects and heavy economic burden. To begin with, cosmetic surgery means unexpected surgical risks for those aiming to be more artificially beautiful. Even though nowadays the medical technology has improved by leaps and bounds, and doctors often ensure that they will minimize the medical risks during the operation, many cosmetic surgery accidents frequently happen every year. In addition to life risk, cosmetic surgery also involves other surgical risk like bleeding, infection, allergic reactions, coma and so on, which will lead to serious consequences.Another reason why I am against it is that it has bad effect on the customer’s psychological health. It has been observed that many individuals undergoing cosmetic surgery tend to suffer from an obsession or infatuation with their look, which can cause an addition and may impel them to undergo much more cosmic surgery technology, repetitiveoperation will finally result in ugliness rather than beauty. This can be proved by countless examples that many women finally ruin their body after several operations of their breasts or eyelids, or liposuction and the like.Aside from the aforementioned side-effects, the financial burden should be taken into serious consideration. Cosmetic surgery is a very expensive operation, which puts tremendous financial pressure on the family. I think that people might as well choose to spend such a great amount of money on other aspects such as workout to make themselves more physically attractive rather than on the so-called unnatural beauty. To sum up, it is totally unwise to seek to appear more artificially beautiful at the risk of health and even life. We should place the inner-heart beauty and health first which are essentially more important than the operation-forged physical beauty. Those to take such a kind of dangerous and unnecessary operation should take a second consideration.评分标准Part Ⅰ Multiple Choice (20%)共20题,共20分,每题1分。
河南2023专升本专业英语考试真题及答案全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1The 2023 Henan Professional English Test Was So Hard!Hi everyone! My name is Xiaoming and I'm 10 years old. I really struggled with the professional English test that junior college students in Henan had to take this year if they wanted to upgrade to a bachelor's degree program. Even though I'm just a kid, I've been studying English since I was little so my mom thought I should try taking the test for practice. Boy was it difficult! Let me tell you all about it.The first section was listening comprehension. They played some recordings and asked multiple choice questions about what we heard. One recording was a conversation between two people making plans to go to the movies. The question asked what day they decided to go, and the answer choices were a) Friday b) Saturday c) Sunday d) Monday. The answer was b) Saturday because the man said "How about going on Saturday?" and the woman agreed.Another listening was a lecture about the history of the printing press. It was pretty boring to be honest. The question asked what year the printing press was invented, and the choices were a) 1440 b) 1450 c) 1460 d) 1470. I picked d) 1470 but I'm not sure if that was right. I struggled a lot with the listening section because the recordings went so fast and had lots of unfamiliar words.Next was the reading comprehension section where we had to read some passages and answer questions about them. One passage was about solar energy and described how solar panels work by converting sunlight to electricity. The questions asked things like the main idea of the passage, which details supported certain points, and what the author's view was toward solar energy. I found this pretty hard because the vocabulary was very advanced with terms like "photovoltaic cells" that I didn't know.Another reading passage was about the biography of a famous scientist from the 1800s. It described her childhood, education, major discoveries, and legacy. The questions asked things like when she was born, where she studied, what her most important invention was, and why she was so influential. Even though the subject matter was kind of interesting, I got thrown off by all the dates, names of places, and scientific terms I wasn'tfamiliar with. I definitely need to work on building my reading vocabulary. After that was the writing section where we had to write a short essay of around 300 words. The prompt asked us to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of working from home instead of going to an office. I tried to write about how working from home can save time not commuting and letting you work flexibly, but downsides are less social interaction and homelife distractions. I'm not sure how well I organized and developed my ideas though. Essay writing is one of the hardest parts of English for me.The final section tested our English grammar, vocabulary, and usage skills. They gave us sentences with blank spaces and we had to pick which word choice from multiple options fit best to complete the sentence correctly. For example:The scientist finally made a _____ breakthrough after years of failed experiments.a) major b) miner c) majority d) migrateThe right answer is a) majorThey also tested things like verb tenses, subject-verb agreement, prepositions, and other grammar rules. Vocabularyquestions involved choosing synonyms or antonyms. There were quite a few tricky ones where you really had to understand nuances and contexts. Studying more vocabulary words and grammar rules is definitely something I need to work on.Overall, while the Henan professional English test covered material I've learned before, it was extremely challenging for my level. The reading passages had tons of academic words I didn't know. The listening portions went so fast with accents I wasn't used to. The writing required developing coherent ideas and using sophisticated language. And the grammar/vocabulary section really delved into advanced nuances and exceptions to rules.I definitely have a long way to go before I'll be ready for an English test at that level! My scores on the practice test were probably篇2The Big English Exam AdventureHi there! My name is Lily and I'm ten years old. I just had the craziest experience taking the Henan 2023 Professional Upgrade English Exam. It was like an awesome adventure into the world of English! Let me tell you all about it.It all started when my mom said I should take this big exam to test my English skills. I was a little nervous at first because exams can be kind of scary. But my English teacher Mrs. Roberts said it would be fun and a great challenge. She helped me get ready by teaching me lots of new words and grammar rules. We played games and did practice tests too! Finally, the big day arrived. I put on my lucky shirt with rainbows on it and had my favorite snacks (gummy bears!) to keep my energy up. The exam was at my school, so that made me feel better being somewhere familiar. The first part was listening. We had to listen to recordings and answer questions about what we heard. There were conversations between people ordering food, giving directions, and even an awesome story about a puppy who got lost! I concentrated really hard and used the tricks Mrs. Roberts taught me to understand everything.Next up was reading. We had to read passages about things like science experiments, famous books, and holidays around the world. The passages were pretty long but I employed my skimming and scanning ninja skills to find the important details quickly. Some of the vocabulary was super tricky but I made my best guesses. After that was the writing section - my favorite part! One of the prompts asked me to write a story about my most exciting day ever. I wrote all about the time my family took a trip to the beach and I swam in the ocean for the first time. Between the waves, seagulls, sand castles, and ice cream, it was definitely an adventure to remember! The last part was speaking, which was kind of scary at first. I had to record myself answering questions and describing pictures. But I just pretended I was talking to my stuffed animals at home and it went smoothly. I spoke nice and clearly like Mrs. Roberts reminded me.When it was finally over, I felt like I had been on an amazing journey through the world of English. I used so many skills like listening, speaking, reading, writing, vocabulary, and more. Even though some parts were really hard, it was an awesome challenge.A few weeks later, I got my results back...and I passed! I unlocked all the highest levels of English like a video game pro. Mom and Dad were super proud and took me out for a celebratory dinner of chicken nuggets and ice cream sundaes. Yum!Mrs. Roberts said I worked really hard and my skills showed through on the exam. She told me to keep practicing and learning because English can take me on so many more exciting adventures. Who knows, maybe I'll write books, become a teacher, or even travel the world one day!If you ever have to take a big English exam, just think of it like a fun quest filled with listening for clues, reading maps, writing in your journey journal, and talking to new friends along the way. With a little practice, determination, and maybe a couple gummy bears for energy, you can make it through any language adventure!篇3The Big English Test for Older KidsHiya! My name is Lily and I'm 10 years old. I love English class and want to be an English teacher when I grow up. My big sister Mei just took a really important English test called the Henan Associate's Degree Entrance Examination for English Majors. It's a huge test that students have to pass to get into university programs for English language and literature. Mei studied really hard and I'm going to tell you all about the test she took! The test had four main sections - listening, reading, writing, and translation. Mei said the listening part was pretty tough. They played audio recordings of conversations and lectures, and she had to answer multiple choice questions about what she heard. Some of the conversations were between teachers and students talking about school stuff. Others were news reports about things happening in the world. The lectures covered all kinds of topics like science, history, and culture. Mei had to focus really hard to catch all the details and keywords.Next up was the reading section, which Mei told me was her favorite part. There were longer passages about different subjects like technology, environment, education and more. After reading each one, she answered questions testing if she understood the main ideas, speciic details, making inferences, and analyzing the author's perspective. Mei loves reading so she was well prepared for this part. She said some of the texts used really advanced vocabulary and complex sentence structures though, so she had to re-read carefully in some parts. The writing section allowed Mei to show off her English composition skills. One task was writing an essay responding to a quote or opinion on a contemporary social issue. Mei wrote about the importance of protecting the environment. Anothertask was writing a short story based on some picture prompts. Mei wrote an imaginative tale about a kid going on a magical adventure! The final writing task was analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of a sample student essay. Mei had to identify issues with coherence, development of ideas, word choice and more.Mei said the translation part was the section she worried about the most beforehand. It involved translating passages from English into Chinese, and vice versa. Some of the texts used really formal, academic language that made them super hard to translate accurately. Other texts were more casual conversational language, but had idioms, slang and cultural references that could trip you up if you didn't know them well. Mei had to make sure the meaning and tone carried over perfectly between the two languages. After the test was finally over, Mei felt both relieved and exhausted! All the sections required such different skills - listening carefully for details, reading for deep comprehension, writing clearly and creatively, and translating precisely between languages. I could tell Mei had worked her butt off preparing when she showed me some of the practice materials and test prep books she used to study. They were full of model conversations, sample essays, vocabulary lists, grammar notes, and practice tests. No wonder she was ready for anything that test threw at her!Mei is still waiting to get her score back, but she felt really good about how she did. She's hoping to get a high enough score to get into her dream university program. I'll keep my fingers crossed for her! Whichever university is lucky enough to get my amazing big sis is going to have one talented new English student. In the meantime, I'm going to start studying up for my own English tests. Mei has been helping me practice writing book reports, learning new vocabulary words, and reading out loud to improve my pronunciation. With her guidance, I'll be just as prepared as she was when it's my turn to take a big English exam in the future. Who knows, maybe I'll even do better than her! Just kidding...Mei is going to make an incredible English teacher one day. I've got a lot to learn from her example first!篇4The Big Grown-Up English TestHi friends! Today I want to tell you all about the super big English test that happened in Henan this year. It's called the 2023 Henan Academic Proficiency Test for English Majors. That's areally long name, isn't it? I'll just call it the Big Grown-Up English Test.My big sister Emily took this test because she wants to go to a better university next year. She had to study so much for it! She was reading big thick books about English grammar and literature for months. I don't know how she remembered all that stuff. The test had four sections - listening, reading, writing, and translation. In the listening part, you had to listen to recordings and answer questions about what you heard. For the reading, there were long passages to read and questions to answer about them. The writing section made you write an essay and do other writing tasks. And for translation, you had to translate sentences between English and Chinese. Phew, that's a lot!Emily said the listening part was pretty hard because the recordings went so fast. She had to concentrate really carefully. The reading passages were long and had fancy vocabulary that she didn't know sometimes. But she had practiced reading a lot, so it wasn't too bad.The writing section was one of the hardest for her. You had to write an essay in really good English about a topic like environmental protection or cultural differences. Emily struggledto organize all her ideas. She told me her hand cramped up from writing so much! But I think the translation part was probably the trickiest of all. You had to make sure you translated everything accurately between the two languages. Emily said you couldn't just do a word-for-word translation. You had to make it sound natural too. No wonder she found it difficult!Emily studied day and night to get ready. She read sample tests, did practice questions, and even met with a tutor. I got a little worried that she might turn into a zombie from not sleeping! But she stayed determined. Finally, the big day came for the real test. Emily got up super early and put on her lucky sweater. She double and triple checked that she had all her supplies like pencils, eraser, dictionary, and snacks. Then she headed off to the test site, which was at a big high school. When she came home after it was all over, Emily looked exhausted! The test was four hours long. Can you imagine sitting still and focusing that hard for four whole hours? I don't think I could do it. Even my legs would fall asleep!Emily said parts of the test were just as hard as she expected. But there were some sections she thought went pretty well too. She felt good about how she did overall and was relieved it was over. No more studying late at night!A few weeks later, the scores came out online. Emily passed! Her scores were high enough for her to get into the university program she wanted. We celebrated with her favorite chocolate cake. She definitely earned it after all that hard work!I got to look at the real test questions and sample answers after Emily was done. They were really tricky! There was so much complex English vocabulary and grammar that I didn't understand. I guess that's why it's called the Big Grown-Up English Test.I'm just an elementary kid, so I've got a long time before I'll have to take a crazy difficult test like that. But I really admired how dedicated and hardworking my sister was to prepare. If I ever have to take an important test like that someday, I'll remember Emily's example. A little studying every night, staying focused, and believing in myself is the way to go!Well, that's all about the 2023 Big Grown-Up English Test. It was awesome that my sister passed and get to go to her dream school to study more English. Who knows, maybe I'll need totake a huge test like that myself one day when I'm grown up too. But I'll cross that bridge when I get there. For now, I'm just glad the nightmare is over for Emily!篇5My Big Sister's Important English TestHi! My name is Lucy and I'm 8 years old. My big sister Amy is 22 and she just took a really important English test called the Henan Associate's Degree Upgrade Exam. It's a super hard test that lets people with an associate's degree get a bachelor's degree if they pass. Amy has been studying so hard for months!Amy says English is one of the biggest parts of the test. She had to read long passages and answer questions about them. She also had to write essays and do other writing tasks. There was a listening section too where she had to listen to recordings and answer questions. Speaking was part of it as well - she had to have a conversation with the examiner in English!I watched Amy practice her English skills a lot while she prepared. For the reading, she would read these long boring passages out loud and then I would ask her questions to see if she understood. Sometimes the passages were about science or history, and sometimes they were stories or newspaper articles. Ididn't understand most of it but Amy could explain the main ideas really well. For the writing tasks, Amy would write practice essays and short responses. Then she would read them out loud and I would try to find any mistakes in her grammar or vocabulary. I'm pretty good at finding errors since English isn't Amy's first language. She would fix the mistakes I caught. Her essays had to be super clear and well-organized.The listening was kind of fun - Amy would play these recordings of conversations or lectures, and then I would ask her questions like "What did the man say about...?" I liked making the questions extra tricky to see if she was really paying attention! Amy said the listening was quite difficult because the accents were sometimes hard to understand.I didn't get to help much with the speaking practice since that was just Amy talking to her tutor. But I could hear them having conversations about different topics from the other room. Amy had to be able to speak clearly and give good explanations. Her tutor made sure she sounded natural and fluent. After weeks of studying morning, noon and night, the big test day finally came! Amy was feeling a mixture of nerves and excitement. She woke up super early and made sure to eat agood breakfast. Then my parents and I walked her to the testing center and wished her good luck. The test took basically the whole day from morning until evening. When Amy came out, she looked exhausted but also relieved that it was over. She said the reading passages were pretty hard but she felt okay about the questions. The essay topics weren't her favorite ones but she managed to write clearly and organize her ideas. Listening was tough because of the accents like she expected. And speaking went alright - she was a bit nervous but did her best to communicate effectively. Now it's just a waiting game until the results come out in a couple months! We're all keeping our fingers crossed that Amy passed and can finally get her bachelor's degree. She has worked so unbelievably hard.No matter what happens though, I'm really proud of my big sister. Studying for and taking a huge test like this in a second language is an amazing achievement already. Amy is brilliant, dedicated and never gave up despite how challenging it was. She's my role model!I can't wait until I'm older and get to learn English properly at school. For now, I'll keep practicing by reading little books, watching movies and shows, and listening to music in English.Who knows, maybe I'll take the same test as Amy one day and we can both have bachelor's degrees!Anyway, that's the scoop on Amy's big important English test. Let me know if you have any other questions! I may be just a kid but I'm already an expert on the Henan Associate's Degree Upgrade Exam thanks to my lovely sis.篇6The 2023 Henan Professional English TestHi there! My name is Lily and I'm a 10-year-old student here in Henan Province, China. Today I wanted to tell you all about the big English test that a lot of the older students took this year called the 2023 Henan Professional English Test for Upgrading from Junior College to Undergraduate. It's a super important test that lets students who have finished junior college try to get into a 4-year university program. My older sister Mei took it and she's been telling me all about it!First off, the test was really, really long. Mei said it lasted over 3 hours! She had to get to the testing center super early in the morning before the sun even came up. The test had listening, reading, writing, and translation sections. For the listening part, they played recordings of people talking in English and you hadto answer multiple choice questions about what they said. My sister said some of the accents were hard to understand. The reading section had a bunch of different passages to read, like news articles, stories, and essays. After each passage, there were questions to see if you understood the main ideas, details, vocabulary words, and other important things. Mei thought some of the passages were pretty confusing and complex. She had to read them over a few times to really get it.Then there was the writing section where you had to write a short essay responding to a prompt or question they gave you. Mei's prompt asked her opinion on whether elementary school students should have to learn computer programming. She wrote about how it could be good to learn those skills early, but that regular reading, writing, and math should still be the main focus for young kids. Putting your thoughts into a clear essay in English is pretty tough! Finally, there was a translation part where you had to translate sentences and short paragraphs between English and Chinese in both directions. Mei said translating from English to her native Chinese was easier than the other way around. You really had to understand the grammar and vocabulary precisely in both languages. After the test was finally over, Mei said she was exhausted! Her hand was cramped up from writing for so long and her brain felt like mush. But she was really proud of herself for trying her best on such a challenging test. She had been preparing and studying English grammar, vocabulary, and practice tests for months leading up to the big day.A few weeks later, Mei got her score report in the mail. The test was graded on a scale of 100 to 700, with 500 being a passing score. Mei got a 572, which is really impressive! She was jumping for joy because it means she qualifies to apply to some 4-year university programs now and potentially upgrade from her junior college. Certain schools and majors require higher scores, but at least this opens up more options for Mei.I was so happy and proud of my big sister. All her hard work paid off! I gave her a big hug and she took me out for ice cream to celebrate. Seeing how challenging but important this test was has motivated me to keep working hard on my English skills too. Who knows, maybe I'll be taking the Professional English Test myself in a few years when I'm older! That's my full report on the 2023 Henan Professional English Test experience. It covered so many English skills like listening, reading, writing, translation, vocabulary, and grammar. Nowonder it was such a grueling exam! I have a new appreciation for just how difficult learning English can be, but how valued those skills are for academics and career opportunities here in China. My advice: start studying English early and don't give up! Let me know if you have any other questions!。

Balancing study and part-time workIf you're worried about juggling a part-time job with your university studies, you are not alone.According to the University Lifestyle survey, day-to-day money worries affect just under half of students, and exactly half expect to graduate in debt. Many students need to earn cash to support themselves while they complete their degrees. So how do you balance your immediate need for cash and the desire to keep your debts under control with the demands of your degree course? The best way to achieve a work/study/life balance is to be ruthless about organising your time so that your priorities don't suffer. Carry a diary or enter information onto an e-diary so that you know when important course dates are coming up, what dates and times you have agreed to work and what key social events you don’t want to miss. Plan to study intensively for a while and then devote yourself to your part-time work at other times. The biggest worry for students, is achieving the class of degree they want. If you have a part-time job it's inevitable that there will be times when your studies need to take precedence, during exam time, for example. If you work regular times, give your employer as much notice as possible that you will need more time during this period and try to negotiate a solution. The benefits of the experience and skills you will gain from part-time work are huge and say a lot about you as a person. Work experience will help you to sharpen your transferable skills such as teamworking, leadership and negotiation. Many recruiters consider relevant work experience an important part of a CV and some will not interview candidates without it.Remember that everything you do at university counts. Even if your work is voluntary you may still be gaining key skills, so make sure you log all your experience on your CV.hello, everyone. we all know that the number of cars in our city is increasing rapidly. it is said that it is not good to own a car, because of its pollution. it is always reported that you need to go another way due to the traffic jam, which the car causes. In order fo save energy, a number of friends often advise me to go to work by riding a bike instead of driving my car. i know, what they say is right and reasonable. however, As far as i am concerned, a car is necessary.i believe the car is as important as my mobilephone, without which i even don't know how to live my life. First, why not have a car? After having a car, i feel much more comfortable. i can go any place no matter how late it is. secondly, i should have a car, that way, i can send my girl friend to work and we won't waste plenty of time on waiting for the bus. what's more, we can stay in cars when it is raining outside if we have picnic in the open air. thirdly, it would be a good idea if I take my colleagueswith me when I go to work. By doing this, i help my friend who is spending their time in waiting and we can talk about the business on our way to work. at same time, it is also a good chance to show our prosperity.in a word, In my opinion, it is good to have a car in our city even though it has some disadvantages. At least, you can abandon the chance because i can help you when you need my hand. With the development of modern society,More and more car are in our city, Some people hold that it's good for us.First, it's good for us to size the time and improve the things which we shoud do. second, it's a good chance to show our prosperity. But other do not agree so,becase it's bad for our enviroment , and if most of us buy car we shoudn't ride bike or go for walk, it's really bad for our health, sum up,,in my opinon,i think it's good for us if we use time resonable.Opinion 1:Some people, like me, doesn´t have the oportunity to choose where to live.Larger cities has advantages and disadvantages and I have the opportunity to know the two parts trough people I know.I mean: In a large city you can get whatever you wish, not only places to get funny, but also hospitals with hig quality and services.People from small cities sometimes must to trip to larger cities to get good medical atention. At larger cities good universities, with all the carrers, in small cities not all what you want to study, similar situation if you need books in another languages.Larger cities are too poluted, small cities not.larger cities too noisy, small notlarger cities too stressed, samll not. etc etc etcAs you see there are advantages and disadvantages. People who live all the time in small cities doesn´t like largers, and viceverse, but think a little that in small or larger cities humans need respect each other.ElbaRough Diamond MemberOpinion 2:i don't agree or disagree on living in modern cities because there are pros and cons. The pros about modern cities are that you are more updated on waht is going around. you get to enjoy the new technology that usually comes out in big and modern cities and last the communication ways are more efficient and fast. the cons about living in a modern city are that you get more spoiled and can't appreciate things that are more ancient or not as technologic. it's most likely for the power to go out in modern cities because of all of the electricity that it consumes a day to keep everything powered up. and last modern cities create alot of pollution and for me at least it's hard to go outand breathe air that is not sanitary and bad for you. in conclusion, i wouldn't mind living in a modern city, but i wouldn't mind either living somewhere else.Opinion 3:i think that its good to live in a modern city ,because well, first of all we have a lot of options on what to eat , because there's a lot of restaurants every where almost at every courner .second of all you have a lot of transport options like buses ,tubes ,taxis,etc.. but in a not so modern city we wouldn't find transmilenios,or so many taxis.and third ,because there's a lot of new technologies that we can enjoy ,like ipods phones etc..and so i think that living in a modern city is full of benefits for all of us ,because even if you have a problem in a countryside, you wouldn't find so many and such good hospitals and police stations and fire men,so its a benefit for every one no matter how or who or where you are.。

Good morning ladies and gentlemen,Today I am going to talk about my dream. As we all know, dream is important. Everyone has a lot of dreams. Some people want to be rich, dreaming of becoming millionaires overnight. Others want to be famous, dreaming of suddenly jumping to great fame. Different people have different dream. Of course, I've no exception. I have a lot of dreams too. When I was little, I dreamed of doing something big and splashy, something significant. I dreamed big. The dream was worthless, my plans were dust, my goals were impossible. But now, I become realistic, my dreams have already changed a lot. I have known that the dream is just a child's fairy tale. so the dream is that I can have my own firm one day. Because I major in economic, I can use my special knowledge to run the company. When I have a lot of money, I will donate some of them to help others. At last, I want to say to everybody "Hole on your dreams firmly, no matter how big or small they are. The path to dreams may not be smooth and wide, even some sacrifices are needed. But hold on to the end, you can find there is no greater happiness than making your dream come ture”. Let me act now even though my actions may not bring success for it is better to act and fail than not be act and flounder. That is all. Thank you.You can’t judge a book by its coveringJudge a book by its covering is always describe the fist impressions. Some people judge a person's character by first impressions simply because they believe these judgments are, for the most part, correct. Other people do not judge a person's character quickly because they believe first impressions could be faulty .However, it's a common pattern: if someone makes a good first impression, people will be inclined to believe it, and make a judgment based on that; if the person makes a poor first impression, people will usually hold off judgment until a second or third meeting, to ensure that the original assessment was correct. My personal philosophy for meeting new people is to give them the benefit of the doubt. If someone makes a very good first impression, I am likely to believe that that is his/her character unless, on future encounters, he/she proves it to be otherwise. I believe that this is a fair, beneficial way of making judgments. I do not think there is any reason to be suspicious of someone's character unless he/she has given me a reason to think so. It is even possible that I will make a bad first impression on someone if I am too suspicious of his/her character. However, I also believe it is important to hold off judgment if someone makes a bad first impression. There are a multitude of reasons why someone might be in a bad mood, and therefore make a poor impression. For example, perhaps I am meeting a man who just had something bad happen to him. Perhaps his bag was stolen, and it had some important documents in it. If this happened to me, I would surely be in a bad mood, and not make a good impression on any new people I met. Therefore, I think it is important to wait until a second, or even third meeting before passing judgment. That is all. Thank you.Traveling help me to open my eyes to see the world and be brave to achieve more. First, Traveling will change my knowledge level, social skills, hobbies and many other things that can be observed by people around you. I learned how to figure out the map and how to solve problems independently in my trip. I learned many things that may be impossible to learn in my schools such as how to plan my trip, how to identify the position, how to ask strangers for help, how to overcome fear and how to keep firm to get to the final destination. More importantly, I find I developed many new hobbies. Traveling also changes my opinions about the world, even my soul. Something inside me will change by people around me slightly when I am in my traveling to a different place where people live life not similar to ours. When I start to learn a new way to spend my time and life, I put away my old thinking module and begin t o understand as well as appreciate other’s culture or behavior. It is a very good opportunity to gain the peace of heart. Besides all the changes, Travel will make people humble as well. I know the world is big enough to provide space for distinct people and things in the other side of the Earth. By traveling, I get the chance to see the various aspects of society. During the course of my every journey, I learn, I feel, I grow and I set more goals for my life so I will not confine myself to a small pattern. That is all. Thank you.FriendshipNowadays, People's notions on friendship vary from one to another. Some people think that friendship must be helpful for themselves in the utilization value. They hold this opinion because people believe the benefits. This kind of friend plays an important role in making more money and getting higher position in our society today. However, others argue that friendship is not necessary only for purpose. But I think there are so many things more precious than money, friendship is one of them. What exactly the meaning of friendship? Different people have different definitions of friendship. Friendship is a feeling that makes you feel safe and comfort when you stay with a person. It is the moment you do not have to weigh your thoughts and measure words before your friend. When you meet difficulties, your friend is the one who always be your side no matter what happens. Your friend is the one who can get you out of trouble and rescue you from dangerous. Thousands centuries’ his tory of mankind has passed. But still no one can give the proper definition of friendship.I think friendship is not complicated as we thought and we don’t need to think too much about what true friendship is. The only thing we need to believe is if someone trust you and share the same ideals with you, you can become good friends.Just as a song sings," A friend is hard to find, more friends and better development. Don't forget old friends when you meet new friends." No matter how far or busy, please keep the friendship, in any ways, maybe a call or an email.Live in the countryAs far as I am concerned, small towns and large cities both have different advantages. Choosing which one to live in depends on everyone's different ideas and considerations. If I were asked to choose whether to live either in a small town or in a big city, I would not hesitate to choose the small town.First of all, there is much more pollution in a city than in a small town. I want to breathe clean air and drink clean water. A person who spends most of his daily life in the city, will simply not be as healthy as he would have been in a small town, with the same habits. Like most people, I hope to live a long, healthy life that I can spend with my beloved family and friends. The city also does not seem to be good for my emotions. While towns are peaceful, friendly, and quiet, in the city, every day there is loud traffic and construction, with rude people adding to the noise. I have often felt I cannot trust any of the countless strangers I see when I am here. In the town where I grew up, everyone knew one another, and no one felt a need even to lock his or her door. In the city, I find the breakneck pace and the constant fear too much to bear. Finally, small towns are much more beautiful than urban centers. I would gladly trade these for a view of real mountains, not to mention dense, lush forests close to my house that I can visit any time I want. Wildlife is also more plentiful and varied in a small town.Who should be responsible for our old peopleTaking care of our senior citizens is a growing problem that our society faces nowadays. It’s not only a financial problem but also a question of the system we want our society to have. Some people may argue that the government should be responsible to facilitate in providing care to our older people. Others believe that family or close relatives should be the one in taking-care their old folks. They are entitled to their own opinions. However, in my personal point of view I believe that responsibility in providing care of our geriatric should have a collaboration and support by the individual, the company and the government.Firstly, the company can be responsible for their retired employees .For this reason a special fund could be established .The advantage of this model is, if you belief in the capitalist system that it should be the cheapest solution. A possible problem is that the companies might have competition disadvantage due to higher staff costs.Give back the responsibility to the individual. It means that everybody has to save money during their working life for the life after their retirement. In this case the government would have to care for them.At last, t he government has to have the responsibility for the old people’s care. It can finance this with its tax incomes. Actually, this is the most democratic model since everybody gets as much money as he or she needs. Unfortunately, this solution seems not to work very well in our country. The government can no longer afford supporting all the old people.Do you admire stars? Who? / why not?Good morning ladies and gentlemen,Today I am going to talk about my favorite superstar whose name is Ou Han Sheng , keelung city people, the nickname " Eddy ". Taiwan's famous singer Eddy is a charming man who comes from Tai Wan. I think most of you know the Day Day up program from Hu Nan Tv. He is a host in the show with Wang Han and other four men.He is very funny. So he often gives a lot of fun to the audience. He has become a famous and familiar film star, but how many people know the tears behind the success during the years of hard work. He also has the talent with dancing, B-BOX and mimic. He is good at imitating the famous singer Jacky Cheung. E ddy’ past is a singer with Alan. The team named Romeo. Then they are dissolution. Because Eddy had to have the military service. Unfortunately his father’s company had collapse. However he still chooses to help his father and signed the debt. Even it is beyond his ability. So I think Eddy is a serious man. He tries his best to work hard. Finally he gets the awards in return. He proves himself at last.Although Eddy is not very handsome and small build and he met a lot of difficulties, he always smiled at life. As long as you pay enough energy into doing something, you can be successful sooner or later. He is a connotation man. His talent attracts me. His attitude toward life stimulates me .So I like him very much.My view on taking part-time jobNowadays, more and more students in college find a part-time job around the campus. Most of them spend one or two hours a day on doing their work, as a respond, they could earn some pocket money. It is heatedly discussed topic to various sections of society that whether we should keep Job-hopping. Moreover, different people have different attitudes. In my opinion, the college students should not to apply for a part-time job. Firstly, everyone knows students is the cheaper worker during the school time, especially doing their part-time job, their salary always lower than the location limit security even they work long time a day. Secondly, we are students, the biggest goal for us is to study knowledge and improve our skills of our major, and we would have a dream that we can finish something that others can’t do. So we must study well, we must learn more on our major, we must spend more time to learn knowledge that others can’t command, but not waste so much time to do the work that everyone can do. Thirdly, although the society experience is important, when it comes to experience, we can also learn much from the part-time job, but you must know that we have at least 3 years to work after graduate from school, I suppose it won’t be late when you find the first job after your graduation. At last but not the least, if you spend too much time to work here and there, but not to do well with you study; you will be regretted in the future. The Effects of AdvertisementAs one of the products of modern society, advertisement has filled almost every corner of the world. We are exposed to them anywhere and anytime. When we listen to the radio or watch TV, the programs are broken up by advertisements that flash on every five or ten minutes. Walking in the street, we find we confronted with endless ad bulletins. Every evening, especially weekend evenings, we find out mailbox full of ad leaflets. With their tremendous power and attractive, advertisements have become a part of our life.Every coin has two sides, so does advertisement. Advertisement exerts both positive and negative effects upon our life. In order to promote trade, business people engage in making their products known to the public in the most attractive ways so that potential customers find it easier to choose what they are to purchase when faced with shelves of goods in the supermarkets. However, advertisements are not always reliable, as some dishonest businessmen exaggerate the functions and qualities of their products. Customers may be misled and deceived. Such is often the case, and it does harm the interests of the customers. Thus, when confronted with an advertisement, we have to be very cautious so as not to be taken in by appealing words and pictures in it. We should remember that advertisements are good at playing with words. What customers should do is to ask about the product and try it, if possible, before purchasing it.Private cars should not be encouraged in ChinaWith the development of economic, there are more and more people purchasing private cars. Accordingly, the business of cars has a rapid increase. And the majority of people consider owning a car as the sign of wealthy. However, I do not agree this phenomenon. I think that private cars should not be encouraged in our country. In the president society, our Chinese are in trouble because of traffic jam at rush hour, especially the people who live in shanghai and Beijing. There is another serious problem that is pollution. Private cars let gas pollution become a very horrible crisis in city. Our government takes many measures to protect our environment but it gets little achievements. So in my opinion private cars led to more serious pollution, in this aspect, private cars should not be encouraged. Finally, I list the last reason. China society has a hard problem: the gap between rich and poor is very big. Private cars are mostly very expensive, riches can afford them while the poor should plan carefully and save long time to buy one. Maybe the poor do not need a car but they want to make themselves look like a rich so to buy a car. This is not good for people’s life. In short, I think that private cars should not be encouraged in china. That is judged by the president society of China. Decades later, maybe China has enough ability to solve the population problem, the pollution problem and the gap between rich and poor, so you should buy a car.。

1.社区Suggestions on Improving Communication among the Community MembersCommunication plays a significant role in our daily life, especially in modern society. Since we get along with other people in every field, we must learn how to communicate with people effectively.Effective communication should be planned carefully. First, speak slowly and briefly in order to make ourselves understood completely. Second, express ourselves in all sincerity and with warmth. Third, concentrate on what the speaker says and appreciate his point of view. Moreover, we should give positive feedback by nodding or smiling while listening. Fourth, place ourselves in the place of others. We live in a world where people need depend on each other, so we must get along well with each other, especially in our community. I think we should improve communication among the community member.First, we should help each other. Second, we should care for each other. Third, we should get together in our spare time. Finally, we should pay a visit to our neighbors. We should often chat with each other. As far as I am concerned, I communicate with other people in a positive way whether I'm in a merry mood or not. And I often express my own opinion genuinely and sincerely. In a word,we must do our best to deal with the relationship between people.2.家庭传统The Most Valuable Tradition of My FamilyThere is a saying that happy families are the same while unhappy ones have their own misfortune. In fact,I don’t agree with it exactly. I hold the opinion that every happy family has its own character. And this is just like that different families have different traditions.Maybe you are eager to know whether my family is a happy one or not. Unfortunately,I will not tell you anything about directly. What I am going to show you is just the tradition which I cherish most of my family. When I was young,my mother often attributes a lot of housework to me,such as washing dishes, cleaning rooms and so on. Once I was so mad that I said:” Hey,mum! Why do I have to do such chores. It is for girls but I am a boy!” “Oh,dear! You should be independent and both man and woman have the duty to do the work.” Mother said tenderly. “But why father didn’t do it with me? He is older than me .Every time when I was busy doing the cleaning,he was watching TV. That is unfair. “ I complained .” Because your father has done such things since he was a child. And now he gets married,he doesn’t have to do so. If you don’t know how to du such things by yourself, you can never find a wife. Then you have to do the chores for your whole life.” “That is absolutely right. I can ‘t think out anything that is more shameful than without a wife.” Dad said seriously. From then on,I regarded independent as the most valuable quality of my life.Of course,it is so easy for me to find such a talk is just a funny joke. But it is too late to discard the quality of being independent as it has been a habit of mine. And besides,I do have benefited a lot from the so-called independence. You never know what you will get, until you really do. I think that is what independence implies and so as what the tradition of my family holds.3.成功因素Factors Contributing to the Success ofAs we all know, Bill Gates is the richest man in the world and rightly should have in their marketing consultants committee the best in the world. Bill Gates is the head of the software company Microsoft and one of the world's wealthiest men. Gates and Paul Allen founded Microsoft in the 1970s, though Allen left the company in 1983. Gates oversaw the invention and marketing of the MS-DOS operating system, the Windows operating interface, the Internet Explorer browser, and a multitude of other popular computer products. Along the way he gained a reputation for fierce competitiveness and aggressive business savvy. During the 1990s rising Microsoft stock prices made Gates the world's wealthiest man; his wealth has at times exceeded $75 billion, making Gates a popular symbol of the ascendant computer geek of the late 20th century. It is widely believed that some people are born lucky and successful, because they possess high intelligence. But this is not true. High intelligence is not equal to success. Success lies in not only the intelligence factors but also the non-intelligence factors.Non-intelligence factors are at least as important as intelligence factors, if not more than the latter. Success is built upon tremendous amount of study, practice and devotion. In addition, having a definite goal and knowing what to do next become more important. In fact, researchers have evidence that an intrinsic passion for one‘s work is a key factor for success. According to my own experience, during our co llege years, having a good study habit is also important. Higher marks can‘t be gained by putting in more hours. Efficiency in study can help us learn more. Therefore, I think success is brought about both by innate intelligence factors and by non-intelligence factors.4.学术诚信An Open Letter on Academic Integrity in ChinaIn the illustration provided, authors of what should be unique articles peer over at their colleague’s work. Plagiarism in academic studies is becoming a major problem worldwide, perhaps students are looking for inspiration, but more likely, they are stealing ideas and using these ideas as their own. It appears from this pictures that everyone is guilty of this crime. There is no start or finish to the cycle of plagirism.Academic plagiarism is a problem that is not limited to one or two schools in the word. One can only imagine that some form of academic is present everywhere. This process can occur innocently enough. One writer is looking for information on a certain topic and does not cite his work properly, the original author is forgotten, and credit is not placed where it is due.I believe that this issue is a very serious problem in universities today. The administration should doeverything they can to stop plagiarism. This problem have brought hot debate. Wealth has always been what some people long for. It is true that most of them try to acquire wealth by means of honest labour. Their efforts contribute to the welfare of the society and at the same time to the accumulation of their wealth, and hence to their happiness. There’s no doubt that wealth brings happiness, especially in the modern society. But there’re exceptions when wealth doesn’t go hand in hand with happiness. Wealth may tempt weak-willed persons to be addicted to harmful habits, such as drug-taking and gambling, and result in their own ruin. Besides, a person may lose his even some government officials who take advantage of their positions to take bribes from the people turning to them for help. All these will bring about the negative effect of wealth if we don’t take a proper attitude to it.Different people have different views. Some people think that health is more important than wealth, money can't buy a healthy body. If people are not healthy, they can't work or study well. Health is the most important thing in the world, they think. But some people disagree with them ,they think wealth is the most important thing .without it ,people can't do anything. Although it can't buy health, but if people are ill, It can buy the medicine .wealth can also help people lead a easy life .I think, the first wealth is health .Once health is lost, it is no use having a lot of money. As far as I am concerned, I love wealth, but I value health more. Without health money becomes meaningless. no one agrees that a wealthy person without good health can be happy. So, just do our best and keep fit. On no account can we identify wealth with happiness. I also believe that one should never reckon only on wealth to achieve happiness .6.性别歧视Gender Discrimination in Job-HuntingRecent years, more girl students on the campus perform as excellently as boys, some even superior, however, when they venture into the complicated society, they find themselves faced with many things different. Among them is sexism at work.It begins with the job interview. More vacancies are open only to males. Sometimes, females will be rejected just because of their sex. When females are lucky enough to be employed by a company, Women may do no less work but earn much less than men. Besides, women also hold less hope to be promoted. Unfortunately, they will barely have chances to display their talent. Eventually, only a few women succeed in winning high positions as well as high salaries. Common situation is that women are reduced to low positions and thus paid "accordingly".In a society where human rights are strongly emphasized, it's terrible to see sexism demonstrated in almost every aspect of human life. All in all, equality between sexes is badly urged. Everybody, especially the victim of sexism at work, is looking forward to being treated equally.7.现代技术利弊Modern Technology : Convenience or Problem? The rapid development of science and technology has brought about great changes to human life. Sometimes, it affects our health and life styles. The chemicals may be hazardous). What's worse, Science and technology may even destroy our simple and healthy life. In addition, the appearance of new technology may invade our privacy. To sum up, humans must be alert against the possible harm while enjoying the benefits from them.8.失败是成功之母Is failure a good teacher?Everybody will have failure. Everyone know ,failure often accompany with us in our common life. No matter what we do,we all can not say we must be success. Because anything is not plain sailing. The failure is a successful mother, if there is no failure, that will not have results to show an achievement. In fact, we should go to more honorific is those person of[with] failures. Because, there is failure, justhave results to show an achievement.Fail don‘t mean you is a for failed, fail to just mean you haven‘t succeeded; Fail don‘t mean you a have no become, fail to mean you get ex perience; Fail don‘t mean you are a stupid person who don‘t know to improvise, failing to mean you have Attic faith; Fail don‘t mean you have to has been suppressing not and quickly, failing to mean you take pleasure in trying…In my opinion,I think failure is the footstone and catalyst of the edifice of success. So through hundreds of years, hardworking and selfless dedication have always been a traditional Chinese virtue. But when suffering the stressful life, people always ignore the basic purpose of working. Along with the hyper-competitive society, workers have to shoulder overload of physical and mental labors. This kind of work does great damage to workers health. Especially in recent years, the phenomenon of over-working death appears repeatedly. The problem of over-working death is common to all societies. Many developed countries have lay down rules about this problem. In China, however, the concept of over-working death is totally a new word and there are no laws on this phenomenon. Our economy develops fast but it also brings about many sharp problems that need to be solved urgently. For example, the study about over-working death is almost blank. So our scholars have to do more research on this problem, make the rules and laws of over-working in other countries as a reference, then adapt them to our society. The government should do more to perfect our legal system so that we can protect the basic rights of our workers.工作和娱乐Work and playWork and play do not contradict each other; in fact, they complement each other. They are two important parts in people's life, but some times they are contradictory, whether we can balance them has much to do with our success. As the sa ying goes, “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.” A life burdened with work leads you nowhere, for you would get tired and bored with your daily routine work.On the other hand, proper recreation will relieve the tension and discomfort of our monotonous life because it offers you various ways to let out your pent-up emotions. What I usually do to relax after school is jogging and seeing movies. Usually I don’t spare time for exercise, but I value the physical education class at school. Jogging several rounds in the field certainly relieves the day’s pressure. On weekends, I’ll catch the morning movie for my visual enjoyment. I feel revived and energetic for another week’s work-load.Work and play are two important parts in people's life, but some times they are contradictory, whether we can balance them has much to do with our success. Some people think that we should do more work, because everyone has a limited life, and we should make as many contributions as we can to society. Besides, we can acquire more knowledge and gain more experience by hard work, which will help us a lot later in our life.Others believe that we should spare enough time for play. 河南科技大学英语口语试题及答案1、In recent years, fast food is very popular in China. What do you think of it? Do you like it?1.Fast food is becoming more popular in China, especially among children and teenagers. Today, it's certainly difficult to think of any other single thing that represents the fast pace of modern society as powerfully as fast food. There are several reasons for its popularity. First, it is very convenient and saves alot of time. The trends of modern society seem to all point to one ultimate goal ——saving time, and fast food well serves this purpose. You just go into a fast food restaurant, order your food, and your food is ready in no time. You can either eat it there or take it away. Second, its popularity is also attributed to the clean and comfortable environment of fast food restaurants, the excellent service, and the guaranteed quality of food. However, in terms of nutrition, fast food is far from satisfactory. It usually does not compose a balanced diet and is low in nutritional value. Thus, doctors suggest that people, especially children, eat fast food as little as possible. Although cooking at home is time-consuming and the following washing-up tiresome, it offers healthy and delicious meals your body likes and needs. Fast food is only a good choicewhen you are in a hurry and turn to it once in a while.2.Nowadays,to keep up with the quickening pace of our society, many people turn to fast food to cut down their time spent in eating. Actually,I am no exception. Well, what exact attitude should we take towards fast food?Firstly,we acknowledge that it really gratifies our strong desire to save time. Nevertheless, every coin has two sides. Relying on fast food on a long-term basis may cause a person to suffer from malnutrition. What is more serious is that some fast food contains many calories which can turn into fat. As we know, too much fat is harmful to our health. Therefore, manufacturers should try new ways to Therefore, manufacturers should try new ways to cook fast food, such as adding in more nutritional ingredients, and manage to create more kinds of fast food to meet people's needs. Nonetheless,we should remember that we should not depend too much on fast food. 3.People all over the world like to eat in fast food restaurants. The food there is delicious and it comes very quickly. Also, it is not too expensive, and the restaurants are always clean and bright. People can eat in or take their food away.Chinese families love to eat in fast food restaurants, too. There are two kinds of fast food restaurants in China. There are Western fast food restaurants, and there are Chinese ones. Western fast food restaurants sell hamburgers, fresh fries, fried chicken legs, chicken nuggets, drinks and so on. The Chinese fast food restaurants sell dumplings, noodles, spring rolls, and other Chinese snacks. My family likes fast food, but we don’t eat at Western fast food restaurants very often. My mum says some fast food is bad for us. It is usually high in fat, so it is not good for our health.1.Do you often surf the Internet? Why or why not?On Students’Surfing the InternetNowadays, there is a strange but common phenomenon on campus, that is, when two students meet, they probably talk more about things concerning the Internet rather than their own studies, with words like, “What’s your qq number? ”or “Did you surf online yesterday? ”Whenever you visit an Internet bar, you may find that place is crowded with people, among whom, students are in the great majority. Thus, it might as well be said that students’surfi ng the Internet has come into fashion and become a hot topic. Are there any advantages or disadvantages to students spending their precious time on the Internet? Different people have different opinions. Some say the Internet is an inexhaustible resource which can provide students with fast and abundant information, while others claim that it is harmful for students to surf the Internet since they are likely to be cheated by those unhealthy and false information. As to this question, I do hold that students should not spend too much time on the Internet. Admittedly, the Internet has been playing an important role in our daily life, through which students can learn things, make friends and send emails, etc. But all these cannot make up for the troubles it has caused to students. First, it cannot be denied that there remains a great deal of unhealthy information in cyberspace like pornographic pictures, obscene films or vulgar music and things of that sort. Once attracted by such a powerful magnet, students, especially the innocent ones who are in the age of puberty, appear to have little self-control and tend to be misled, sinking deeper and deeper, even committing crime at last. Besides, surfing the Internet is rather time and energy-consuming. Some students complain that their real life is monotonous and they regard surfing the Internet the only way to kill time and seek happiness. Nevertheless, the moment they sit before their computers, they seem to forget the whole world, not to mention studies. Sometimes, they will take a whole day and night online, chatting and playing adventurous games. No wonder they cannot help yawning and falling asleep in class the next day. However, once they have recovered from tiredness and regained their vigor, they will surf the Internet again. The Internet is nothing but a sticky spider web, while students are just like insects tied up unfortunately in a trap. With their energy gradually fading, students finally fall victim to the spider. How miserable! Furthermore, surfing the Internet will, to a great extent, bring extra economic burdens to students who are mainly supported by their families. So far as I know, a student will be charged 1RMB per hour in the Internet bar, then you can imagine how much money he has to pay provided he keeps on surfing online for a few hours everyday. To sum up, I do not think the Internet does students much good, but this does not mean that students should not acquire useful information from the Internet. My suggestion is that students should have a right attitude toward the Internet. They’d better not be preoccupied with the Internet and forget their main task. They should learn how to use the Internet in a proper wayShould students surf the Internet?Today our class had a heated discussion about whether we should surf the Internet or not. The following is our discussion.(Our discussion is as follows.60 percent of students think that it’s good for students to surf the net. First of all, Internet can provide us with a great diversity of interesting information. Moreover, Internet can help us to broaden our horizon, improve our communication skills and make us keep on knowing the outside world. However, there are 40% of the students who disagree with it. In their opinion, Internet has some disadvantages. For example, if you spend too much time on the net, it will do great damage to your eyes which are likely to be weakened. Furthermore, you tend to be mentally addicted to playing online games for they are very attractive.Of course, every coin has two sides. As far as I am concerned, the Internet is of great use for students to deal with their study. It’s Ok to leave the Internet on so long as we are using it for our study, if not, turn it off! So, I think it is due to the correct use of the Internet that we can live a healthy and meaningful life.2.Do you keep pets? Why or why not?1.I like keeping pets in my home. It is especially for the Chinese and American. There are many kinds of differences, and here, we will take some of them for examples.First, it’s about the difference of recognizing some things. In the Chinese culture, dragon is a lucky animal, but in the mythology of the western world, dragon is seen as the evil monster. This is the recognizing difference.Second, it’s about the difference of color. Because of the differences of historical culture, country geography positions, manners and customs, Chinese have the different viewpoint with the western nations about some same color. For example, the red color is always seen as the happy color, when couples hold their wedding, they like wearing red clothes, but for the English and American, people always consider the red color as atrocity, unlucky, because they think that the red color means bleed. This is the culture difference about color.Third, it’s about the difference of number. In the Chinese society, one of the most welcome numbers is 666, which means very smooth and successful. Moreover, there are some differences between Chinese and western about the thinking way. Take the appellation “leader” for instance, in the western culture, leader may be seen as the man who manages the team or society, he or she is still a common person, just like the others, because of the different function, the other people call him or her leader. However, in the Chinese culture, the appellation is given more meanings. Sometimes, the subordinates see their leader as a god, t hat’s because leaders are always given more and more privileges by the government. The subordinates want to be work and live like their leader, they do everything surrounding the leader, not follow the principles. These are my opinions about the differences between Chinese and western world, if any viewpoint is not proper, I will be very happy hoping the criticism. Maybe we can talk about it more and deeper in Chinese language.5.What do you think of advertising? For example, in online, on television, in newspapers, and so on, we basically can be seen anywhere. At present, a variety of commercial advertising on television more prominent.Do you believe TV ads? I do not believe that, because from my point of view to clarify the following points: First, television advertising to deceive us ordinary people, businessmen who put the pursuit of commercial profits as their ultimate goal, so they launched their own television advertising of products, some products exaggerated, and some products are far beyond its own quality and features, such serious damageto the interests of consumers, some consumers can buy their ideal amount spent cloth products, due to a misleading television advertisements. But different people choose different jobs as their ideal careers. This is because everyone has his own interest. As for me, I have made up my mind to be a teacher. I choose to do so mainly for three reasons. First, I want to teach because I like the pace of academic calendar. Two long vacations offer me an opportunity for reflection, research and writing. Secondly, I want to teach because I like the freedom to make my own mistakes, to learn my own lesson, to stimulate myself and my students. And I can have the opportunity to keep on learning. Finally, I want to teach because, being around the students who are beginning to grow and change in front of me, I will grow and change with them too. What do you think causes the generation gap? What can be done to solve the problem of it?today ,as a college student i have already known that how much love i have had from our parents. Because the more i grow up the more i understand their better. I couldn't forget the days in my childhood. When i was young ,I don't know about everything, later, since i grown up ,I thought that i could judge things by myself, but my mom and daddy both of them thought i was still too young to make things well.so there was a generation gap built up between me and my parents. We argued and even kept silencefor a long time.Having come into contact with the society, i finally realized all the things what they told to me were right! They are my parents who bring me up with all their loves. The things which i was going to do they had already done, because they are well-informed.Time flying, there is no need to do anything and i known where there are my parents there is my home! 3. Nowadays, the problems of generation gap become more and more serious. The poor relationship between parents and their children is very common. Are these problems caused by thebusy parents? Or, do the family rules affect the relationship between parents and children? Firstly, in most of the families in China both of the parents have to go out for work in order to earn more money to provide better environment for their lovely children. Unfortunately, this causes the rare communication between them and their children, since these parents always take rest during leisure time. These parents and children cannot know deeply about each other and friction will appear. Secondly, parents who ask their children to be absolutely obedient is also one of the grave 6/8causes of the generation gap between them! They do not try to communicate with their children as their equals. Thus, misinterpretation of them may easily occur. To solve these problems, the busy parents should sacrifice their spare time to communicate with their children actively and friendly to improve their relation. At the same time, they can also observe their children's behavior at the same time in order to understand heir children's personality as it can reduce the quarrel between them. Besides that, the parents should try to give up their absolute power in family so as lo make their children feel free to chat with them What is the generation gap? IT is normal if there is a generation gap, but it is not normal when the generation gap is serious. With the development of the society, the pace of the life is becoming faster and faster. The parents are busy doing their job, children are busy studying. So there are less and less opportunity that parent and children have a face-to-face talk, and they often keep in touch just through calling and messages. So the generation gap is becoming more and more serious. There are two reasons that result in generation gap in my mind. The first one is different age, so sometimes we have different opinions to the same thing. The second one is the communication is not enough, so we can not understand each other. To avoid generation gap. We should tolerate each other at first, inevitably there are differences between people. Next we should do more communication with our parents, so we can understand each other. If we do so, I believe we can avoid generation gap. In my opinion, generation gap can be bridged as long as both parents and children are willing to make efforts. They may have an open talk and tell each other what they think about certain problems. Theyshould be considerate enough to realize that each generation has its own advantages and drawbacks. Their openness and consideration will probably result in a much better relationship between parents and children. 9. Discuss with your partner on the obstacles that you have been faced with in your life and the ways in which you overcame such difficulties. I have always felt confident that our biggest problem, I think if a 7/8person self-confidence, and things we can do the better. As long as the correct understanding of themselves, provide a comprehensive look at others and yourself, you will not feel so bad, but he may feel the state is not the best or are too concerned with the views or ideas of others. The views or ideas of others there is often one-sided, unnecessary inferiority complex. Think they can do things the line, and only realize through their own efforts, their goals can be met. He can be recognized from the heart, for ourselves and encouraging. Just be prepared, I would not flinch a little difficulty. Believe that confidence will be able to complete the task. As long as overcome the inferiority complex, build self-confidence, the founder of doing their own happiness. As long as the difficulties can be overcome with self-confidence, academic or business will be successful, we are the most promising young people. 10. Would you like to work as a volunteer? Volunteering is of tremendous benefits to both those in need and the society. Olympic Games are a good example. As is known to all, volunteers played an active role in Beijing Olympic Games. Without them, it would be a tough task to hold this un-precedent Olympic Games. Therefore, we can say that it was those volunteers who ensured the success of these games. As modern college students, we should get actively involved in volunteering actions. By participating, we can learn how to work well in a team, how to improve our interpersonal skills and organizational ability.Undoubtedly, all of these are critical for our person growth.
