一、教材分析
(一)教材内容:冀教版英语九年级Unit 7 Jenny’s Good Advice
(二)教材内容分析:第七单元主要谈论争吵及其解决问题的文章,通过单元中心句Work for Peace 来展开,通过学习朋友间争吵以及解决问题的文章,让学生在讨论、提问中与自己实际生活联系起来。
lesson 41 主要介绍Jenny’s good advice,本课对激励学生刻苦学习,热爱和平,有着举足轻重的作用。
(三)教学目标
1、知识目标
词汇:(1)掌握词汇及短语:silence, silent, in silence, keep silent.
(2)接触词汇及短语:elder, directly, agree on, mean to do…
语法:连词and, but, or和so.
2、能力目标
听(1)以词或词组的形式简单记录所获取的信息。
(2)在听录音时能够有目的地获取所需的关键信息。
说(1)就简单话题提供信息,表达自己的观点,参与讨论。
(2)与他人沟通信息,合作完成任务。
读(1)根据不同的阅读目的,运用简单的阅读策略来获取文章大意。
(2)找出文章主题,理解故事情节,预测故事发展和结局。

二、学情分析
学生已经学完了初中英语的前四册,掌握了部分描述自己、他人以及事物的词汇和句型,本节课的话题是关于朋友间和平解决问题的过程,学生对此比较感兴趣,在教师预设的任务中,引导学生在交际中动态生成,对该话题有话可说,乐意合作分享。
三、教学设计
(一)总体思路
初中英语教材在话题、功能、结构相结合的基础上设计了许多易操作的任务型活动,提高他们的语言运用能力。
本课课文教学分三个环节,即:任务前活动(pre-task)、任务中活动(while-task)、任务后活动(post-task)。
任务前活动主要是导入话题(lead-in),激活背景知识。
任务中活动主要是学生通过listening,reading,free talk等活动理解课文,获取必要的信息,完成回答有关课文的问题。
任务后活动主要是让学生结合所学的语言点,通过讨论,小组活动等活动,进一步了解并用英语描述朋友间和平解决的过程,反馈学习情况。
(二)教学过程
Step1..Lead-in
1.Show some pictures of some feelings.

设计意图:调动学生的积极性,激发学生的学习兴趣,引出本课内容。
Step 2. Disscuss
Review Lesson 37 and discuss the Think About It questions as a class.
设计意图:强化学生阅读与口头表达能力。
并为新课讲解前后呼应,培养学生自主学习能力。
Step 3.Drill
由优、中、后进生分别复述What happened in Lesson 37。
设计意图:照顾整体,全面发展。
Step 4. Listen and read.
设计一些针对性细节问题,听听力。
Danny and Steven didn’t __________each other for a few days. That Saturday, they both went to Jenny’s house, but they all _________at first. Jenny encouraged them to talk about the problem. Steven complained that Danny shouldn’t change the time they_________. Danny explained the situation. He felt sorry that Steven missed the game. 设计意图:使学生在多信息,高密度,快节奏的灵活操练中,主体参与,主动探究,充分发展, 在听的过程中,学生不但练习了听力而且使学生对课文有深刻的了解。
在本教学环节中巧妙地设置问题和听力材料,这样才能引起学生浓厚的兴趣。
Step 5. Consolidation:
尽量让中等生、后进生回答并比一比,通过讨论让学生明白努力学习、热爱和平的重要意义,同时进一步引导学生端正学习态度,增强他们的学习兴趣和信心。
设计意图:可以帮助学生理解课文,掌握故事的基本情节,并能检查学生对课文理解的程度,培养他们自主学习的能力。
Step 6. Test
Retell the story.
设计意图:让学生自己复述会打消学生的学习积极性,出示知识框架,降低了难度,同时也教给了学生复述的方法,提高了学习的兴趣。
Step 7. Homework
Was there a dispute between your friends? How did you deal with the disputes between you and your friends. Please write a story about that.
设计意图:学生在做习题时,复习了常用词汇和句型,学生也检查了自己在这一课学习中的效果。
教学反思:本堂课针对教材提供的教学内容,采取信息技术这一现代化教学手段,激发学生兴趣,激活课堂气氛,使学生对和平解决问题有更深入的了解,让学生学会用英语这门语言处理问题,解决问题,真正体会到用英语交流,表达,思考的乐趣,但本节课对任务型教学研究还不够,在设计任务时,没有着重考虑学生的实际情况,让学生自主的完成任务。
