The subject that I'd like to describe is Physics that was taught in our school. We had this subject in each year of our high school and each year a new teacher used to teach us the subject. Even we had to read physics in college as Science was my major. I remember Mr Alex, Burter, John, David and Mrs Jeniffer took Physics in different years. We were lucky to have good Physics teachers who could make the subject interesting and enjoyable. Our teachers used to tell us stories first and then would explain the theory, experiment or math of the textbooks. They would then relate the story with the study. Later they would explain us the real examples and facts. Sometimes they used to take us to the Physics labs and explain how something works. I have learned numerous things of physics from simple definition of mass to the complex explanation of Einstein's Theory of Relativity. My foundation of physics grew up and expanded withthe help of those teachers. The subject itself is utterly interesting if one can have a passion for it. It is one such subject that one would start loving it if s/he starts understanding the underlying concepts of it. Physics is all around us and the lesson I learned from my School had helped me greatly throughout my higher academic years.4. Sometimes they used to take us to the Physics labs and explain how something works.I have learned numerous things of physics from simple definition of mass to the complex explanation of Einstein's Theory of Relativity. The subject itself is utterly interesting if one can have a passion for it.It is one such subject that one would start loving it if s/he starts understanding the underlying concepts of it.Physics is all around us and the lesson I learned from my School had helped me greatly throughout my higher academic years. You should say:what branch of science it iswhen you studied ithow you studied itand explain why you are interested in it1.
Describe an interesting subject that you learned at schoolWhat the subject wasWhat your teacher was likeHow long you learned this subjectAnd explain it was interesting to youOne of the scientific subjects that I learned in high school is physics. It is the natural science that involves the study of matter and its motion and behavior through space and time, along with related concepts such as energy and force. It is one of the most fundamental scientific disciplines, whose main goal is to understand how the universe behaves.Of course, what I have learned was not that challenging. It was more about introduction to and simple application of these basic physical concepts, which were mainly confined in classical physics, such as three laws of thermodynamics, Newton’s laws of motion, optics and electromagnetics. But we also touch the area of quantum mechanics. My physics teacher was a middle-aged man who was medium-sized and a little bald. Instead of directly telling us the knowledge and answers, he preferred eliciting us. First, he would let us do a few experiments and carefully observe their phenomena. Then he would ask questions like what they had in common or what the difference was, trying to make us think for ourselves and understand what the course would be about. In this way, we had a better understanding of the knowledge.I love physics. In fact, it was my best subject back in high school. I feel I havea better understanding of how the world works through it.Is there any difference between the traditional and modern education systems?I can’t really know for sure because I have graduated from school many years ago, but I would try and say that the answer to this question. In the traditional system, teachers are present and have an active role during the class because they do everything on their own. More precisely, verbal communication, interaction and the usage of blackboard are the main elements of this type of system. Books, pens, pencils, lecture and question-answer, written exam and grading are the main ingredients of the traditional education system. On the contrary, in the modern education system, teachers’ role is restricted as technology does many things instead. With the use of computers and virtual classrooms, the method of teaching has changed to a great extent in the modern education system. Projector, online classes, assignments, online learning system, online exam and assessments are the main ingredients of modern education system.I believe that with both types of educational systems, students will be able to reap benefits as long as they are willing to study in collaboration with their schoolmasters and academic activities. What are the pros and cons of the current educational system in your country? This is an important issue and I can’t really be accurate because as I mention before I am not aware of the way schools function these days, but I will answer from my experience so far.A positive thing is that a combination of traditional and modern education methods are applied in our education system and this undoubtedly leads to better results. To illustrate, students are motivated to study and in this way, they develop their cognitive skills, acquire mental capabilities, assimilate the information provided more easily and they also build a well- rounded personality. Some other positive sides of our education system are that the syllabus is updated, the teachers and well trained, the schools have better learning environment, the education ministry is quite positive about improving the education sector and use of technology has been widely accepted in our education sector.Moving to the downsides, many teachers don’t deal with their students as much as needed and this can cause detrimental effects upon children. Moreover, better students evaluation, question answering and feedback from students about teachers are needed to be implemented.Do you think it is necessary to give comment or criticism to teachers?I strongly believe that criticising teachers isn’t the appropriate course of action. The best and most effective method is giving comment and making plausible and constructive conversations about the issues that concern parents and students. Everyone should bears in mind that teaching is an amazingly difficult and fundamental occupation and parents should collaborate and interact with teachers and not assail them. Besides, it would be good to think that from the moment that someone chose to become a teacher, they want the best for their students’ educational level. How can a teacher make learning more interesting? It’s a really interesting and useful question that concerns most of the people, including teachers and parents. To begin, allow me to say that teachers play the most important role in teaching and sharing knowledge among students. For example, when I was in my secondary school, the most difficult subject for me was geography because of the overwhelming information about the different countries. My schoolmaster tried to make it more interesting by telling us different things about each country such us, their brands, monuments, customs and famous people. In this way, he not only made the subject exciting but also managed to provide us with the needed information and achieved his goal. Nowadays that technology constitutes an essential part of everyday life, teachers have the ability and the opportunity to make things better and more interesting by connecting students to music, movies and documentaries that are relevant to the study. It is undoubtedly a really effective way to stimulate students’ interest and imagination.Personally, I think that passion for teaching, good relationship with students, telling stories that connect to the lessons and use of technology can make learning more interesting, engaging and effective.。
Describe a subject you disliked in high school / Describe a subject you dislike,真是一波未平一波又起。
Describe a subject you didn’t enjoy in highschoolYou should say:What the subject wasHow the teacher taught this subjectHow long you studied this subject出国留学考雅思、新托福、备考大学四六级,就来徐州朗阁 A nd explain why you didn’t like it.

What subjects are more practical to learn nowadays?I think the computer software-related courses are more practical. Because nowadays, our daily life and daily work can never be separated from computers. And if we can learn to use it wisely, it can really help us to save a lot of time and energy. For example, when I write an essay, the reference part is highly required by different formats. In that case, if I know how to use computer software to automatically build the format, it can not only be time-saving but also increase the accuracy. This may be just one example but actually all software are useful and practical and deserve our attention.Do you think all teachers should have entertaining teaching styles?I don't think so. Just like every human being has his own personality, every teacher should have his own style. It isnecessary that teachers adjust their teaching styles to make their classes more effective but that doesn't mean the entertaining teaching styles are the only choices. If a teacher is really bad at entertaining and he still entertains for the sake of entertaining, things may totally go to the opposite. So I don't think all teachers should have entertaining teaching styles.Do you think learning many subjects is beneficial to your work?I don't think so because what you've learned at school is not always useful when you are at work. For example, I used to have art classes and if I'm going to be a journalist then barely anything I learned in those classes will be used in my job. So it is not the case that the more subjects you learn, the better. I think what matters is the ability of learning. That will definitely be beneficial to your work. .Do you think learning many subjects at one time is better or learning one subject is better?I think learning many subjects at one time is better. But here I have a premise. Those subjects should have some kind of link with each other. For example, one can never learn math, philosophy and economics at the same time because they belong to different systems. It is very difficult to learn a coupleof things which are totally different. My point is under the same category, one can learn as many subjects as possible. For example, a student can have English literature, American literature and Japanese literature at the same time. Learning only one subject may become boring while learning many subjects is more interesting. One can compare and summarize and this method is good for the whole learning process.。

Well, my favourite science area is chemistry ever since I was a middle school student. Though I just learned some basic part of chemistry at the high school level, it was a really eye-opener because it gave me a fuller understanding of the natural world by teaching me about the periodic table, the mole concept, types of chemical reactions, atomic theory and etc.Chemistry is very difficult to learn, but it also tells me about chemicals and their interactions and it can help you to understand the world around you, since everything is comprised of chemicals. Cooking, for instance, often employs chemical reactions to achieve different types of cooked foods. Baking is a prime example of this type of use, as it often employs ingredients like baking soda that react with acids in the recipe and help the cake or cookies to rise when heated. This process is a chemical reaction. Additionally, taking a chemistry class will allow you to better understand other sciences, like biology or anatomy and physiology, as all life is uses chemical reactions. Besides, chemistry allows me to stay in the lab to take lots of different engaging experiments, such as making smoke bombs. I believe that experimenting is best part of taking a chemistry class.4. Baking is a prime example of this type of use, as it often employs ingredients like baking soda that react with acids in the recipe and help the cake or cookies to rise when heated.Additionally, taking a chemistry class will allow you to better understand other sciences, like biology or anatomy and physiology, as all life is uses chemical reactions.雅思口语part2题库话题参考范文:感兴趣的学科(an area of science you studied that you are interested in)You should say:what branch of science it iswhen you studied ithow you studied itand explain why you are interested in it1.

Title: The Benefits of Pursuing a Specialized Field: A Personal Reflection。
In today's dynamic and competitive world, the choice of one's profession holds paramount importance. While some opt for a broad spectrum of knowledge, others, like myself, find allure in specializing in a particular field. This essay delves into the reasons why I harbor a profound affinity for specializing in a profession.First and foremost, delving deep into a specialized field offers the opportunity for profound expertise and mastery. By focusing one's efforts and attention on a specific area of study or practice, individuals can develop a level of proficiency that may not be attainable in a broader context. This deep understanding not only enhances personal satisfaction but also opens doors to various opportunities for professional advancement.Furthermore, specialization often leads to greater innovation and advancement within a given field. When individuals concentrate their efforts on a particular domain, they are more likely to uncover novel insights, push the boundaries of existing knowledge, and contributeto meaningful advancements. This dedication tospecialization fosters a culture of innovation thatbenefits not only practitioners but society as a whole. Moreover, specializing in a field provides a sense of direction and purpose. Instead of navigating through a vast expanse of knowledge with no clear endpoint, individuals in specialized fields have a defined path to follow. Thisclarity of purpose instills a sense of motivation and drive, propelling individuals toward their goals with unwavering determination.Another compelling reason for favoring specializationis the opportunity for collaboration and networking. Within specialized communities, individuals share common interests, goals, and challenges, fostering a sense of camaraderie and collaboration. Through networking with peers and experts inthe field, individuals can exchange ideas, gain valuable insights, and form meaningful connections that can propel their careers forward.Additionally, specialization often leads to greater job satisfaction and fulfillment. When individuals are deeply passionate about their chosen field, work becomes more than just a means of earning a living—it becomes a source of personal fulfillment and purpose. This intrinsic motivation not only enhances job satisfaction but also increases productivity and overall well-being.Furthermore, specializing in a field allows for a more tailored and personalized approach to problem-solving. By honing in on a specific area of expertise, individuals can develop unique insights and solutions that may elude those with a more generalized understanding. This specialized knowledge enables individuals to address complex challenges with precision and efficacy, making a tangible impact in their respective fields. In conclusion, the decision to specialize in aparticular field is driven by a multitude of factors, each contributing to a deeper understanding and appreciation of one's chosen profession. From the pursuit of mastery and expertise to the fostering of innovation and collaboration, specialization offers a myriad of benefits that enrich both individuals and society as a whole. As I reflect on my own journey towards specialization, I am filled with a profound sense of purpose and excitement for the opportunities that lie ahead.。
