广东省高考英语口语听说测试模拟九
Part A Reading Aloud
In this part, you are required to watch a video and read after the
speaker in the video.
Our faithful friend is now three months old and her guide dog
training is starting. She’s learning simple commands, like returning to
her owner’s call and sitting on request. All basic skills, but really rather
important if you’re going to be a guide dog. She’s also showing signs
that her bond with the family is growing. A lick of the face or a kiss on
the lips definitely feels like true affection. And this is proof that your
dog is treating you like her mother, as this behavior originally comes
from a puppy licking her mother’s lips to get her to throw up her
dinner.
Part B Role Play

听说材料
Part A 略
Part B
M: Allie, you said you went volunteer traveling for your vacation each
year. What is volunteer traveling?
W: It’s like an exchange program. People find a program in a country
they’d like to visit. In exchange for food and accommodations, they
work. In other words, they don’t get a salary. The idea is that
volunteers can learn about real people in other countries.
Vacationers who stay in hotels often don’t learn much about the
local people and culture.
M: Who can volunteer?
W: Anyone! Many volunteers are fairly young. The work can be hard, so
a volunteer needs to be fit. But, actually, age isn’t important. I’ve
worked with people in their seventies and even eighties.
(1) 学生问:志愿者可以做什么工作?What kind of work can volunteers do? 录音答:Many of the jobs are on small farms. Farmers often need
volunteers to harvest crops. I’ve harvested vegetables and
fruit, including nuts and olives! Some volunteers work with
animals, such as milking cows or goats. That’s an
interesting experience, I can tell you!
(2) 学生问:还有其他选择吗?Are there any other possibilities?
录音答:Yes. Sometimes farmers want volunteers to do things like
build stone walls. There are lots of possibilities. I’ve
volunteered in Italy, Morocco, Indonesia, and two other
countries in Latin American.
(3) 学生问:人们怎么能找到志愿旅行的机会呢?How can someone find out
about volunteer travel opportunities?
录音答:Oh, that’s easy! Just go online. Do a search for “volunteer
travel” or “volunteer vacations”. You’ll find lots of websites
with information about opportunities for volunteering.
Maybe there’s a program in a country you’ve always wanted
to visit!
(1) 录音问:How often does Allie do volunteer traveling?
学生答:Every year.
(2) 录音问:What does Allie think is the benefit of volunteer traveling?
学生答:Volunteers can learn about real people in other countries.
(3) 录音问:What do farmers often want volunteers to do? 学生答:Harvest crops.
(4) 录音问:How many countries has Allie volunteered in?
学生答:Five.
(5) 录音问:Where does Allie tell Fred to look for volunteer travel
opportunities?
学生答:Online.
Part C
An Unforgettable Experience
Last summer, Tina was in England with her family visiting her
grandparents. One day, they decided to go to the coast. They drove to
the nearest beach, and put on their swimming costumes. “Don’t forget
your beach shoes,” said Tina’s mom, but she didn’t listen and ran
straight into the sea. Suddenly, she felt a pain in her right foot. Her
grandmother had told them that there were some dangerous sea
creatures in the sand, which had bitten several swimmers recently. She
felt guilty that she hadn’t put her beach shoes on, and she started to
cry. At first, her mother thought that she had cut herself on a piece of
glass, but then she showed her mother her foot. There were four small
holes where the creature had bitten her. They went and asked a
lifeguard for help. He told her to sit down, and a few minutes later, he
brought her a bowl of hot water and told her to put her foot in it.
Apparently, the hot water brings the poison out of the foot. In the end,
her foot stopped hurting and she felt very relieved. She didn’t go into
