涉及让步状语从句的五类倒装

当as， though 引导让步状语从句时：若用as，句子必须用倒装句式；若用though，则句子可以用倒装也可以不用倒装。本文就两者用于倒装句式作一归纳。
基本句式结构为“名词+ as / though +主语+动词”。其中的动词也通常为连系动词，也就是说位于句首的名词是其后连系动词的表语。注意这类倒装句式的名词前习惯上不用冠词，即使有形容词修饰也不用冠词。如：
Boy as he was， he behaved like a girl. 他虽是个男孩，但举止却像个女孩。
Child though he was， he knew what was the right thing to do. 他虽然还是个孩子，但他知道什么事该做。
Fool as he looks， he always seems to make the wisest proposals. 他看样子傻，可似乎总是能提出最聪明的建议。
Quiet student as he may be， he talks a lot about his favorite singers after class. 尽管他可能是一个比较安静的孩子，但他在课后却会大谈他最喜爱的歌手。（重庆卷）

Patient as he was， he had no intention of waiting for three hours. 哪怕他再有耐心，也不打算等上三个小时。
Strange though it may seem， I don’t like watching cricket. 也许看起来很怪，我不喜欢看板球比赛。

【说明】 其中的动词通常为连系动词， 也就是说位于句首的名词是其后连系动词的表语。 另 外，要特别注意位于句首的名词前习惯上不用冠词， 即使其前有形容词修饰也不用冠词。 比 较：
Boy as [though] he is, he likes to play with girls.=Though [Although] he is a boy, he likes to play with
girls. 他虽是男孩，却喜欢与女孩子玩。
Strong man as [though] he is, General Botha has been severely put to the test during the past few
weeks.= Though [Although] he is a strong man, General Botha has been severely put to the test during
the past few weeks. 波赛将军虽然坚强，但在过去的数周里也受到了严峻的考验。
二、 形容词 +as / though+ 主语+ 动词
Successful as he is, he is not proud.他虽然成功，但不骄傲。
Improbable as it seems it ' s tri虽然看起来不太可能，但却是真的。
Stupid as it sounds， I was so in love with her that I believed her. 尽管听起来很愚蠢， 我是如此爱 她竟然相信了她的话。
今天跟大家分享的是万能词as的一个用法。as在整个语法体系中出现的频率极高，尤其是在状语从句中，as本身及和as相关的短语可以引导时间状语从句、条件状语从句、原因状语从句、方式状语从句、比较状语从句，以及我们这里要讲到的让步状语从句。而且在引导让步状语从句时往往是高考中的一个难点。
想必大家对让步状语从句还比较熟悉，其常见的引导词有although/though/even
if/even though/5w1h+ever等，字面上都有“虽然”“尽管”“即使”“无论”等意思，而且他们引导的句子都有一个共同的潜台词，就是“退一步说”。此外，就是“高大上”派的as了，其含义也是“尽管”。它引导的让步状语从句和其他所有从句的最大区别就是句子语序上的差异了，as只有形式倒装的句型中引导的才是让步状语从句。之所以强调形式倒装，是因为此倒装并非像大家所熟知的倒装，把整个谓语或者部分提前，而是只要对从句的某一部分进行强调，都可以把对应的词或短语提到句首。常见的有以下各种结构：
1）名词+as+主语+be动词/系动词，比如：
Teacher as he is, he can make mistakes.
尽管他是一名老师，他也可能会犯错误。
需要注意的是，即便句首的名词是可数名词，而且用的单数，前面的冠词也必须省略。
2）形容词+as+主语+be动词+系动词，比如：
Improbable as it seems, it's true.
虽然看起来不太可能，但却是真的。
此时是对表语形容词improbable进行的强调。
3）副词+as+主语+谓语（+宾语），比如：
Much as I have travelled, I have never seen anyone who's as capable as John.
尽管我去过很多地方，但从未见过像John一样能干的人。 此时则是对修饰动词程度的副词hard进行的强调。
