A Wondrous Adventure at the British Museum

I had been looking forward to our school trip to the British

Museum for weeks! The museum is one of the biggest and most

famous in the whole world, with millions of artifacts and

treasures from all across history and the globe. When the day

finally arrived, I could barely contain my excitement.

We took the big red double-decker bus into the heart of

London. As we drove through the city streets, I gazed out the

window in awe at the tall buildings, the street performers and

artists, and the crowds of people from every corner of the world.

Finally, we turned a corner and there it was - the magnificent

British Museum!

The museum is housed in an elegant old building with huge

Roman columns out front. I felt very small walking up the grand
