Weather in Beijing

教学设计

一、教学目标

1.学生能够通过听、说等活动进一步稳固与天气和季节相关的词汇,并且运用功能句与同伴进展讨论。

2.帮助学生关注sh, ch 的发音,并能够发现更多具有音标[ʃ],[tʃ]的单词。

三、教学过程

Step 1 Revision

Show the key expressions and help the students use the sentences to have a talk about the text they

have learnt in the last lesson

Read the sentences and try to use them to talk about the weather in Beijing. And then share their

ideas in front of the class.

设计意图: 通过朗读和运用句子谈论北京的天气,进一步稳固相关词汇,并为更多的谈论做好准备。

Step 2 group work

1. Show some pictures about Melbourne to interest the students and prepare for the topic they will

talk about .

2. Help the students to understand the text about Melbourne and have a talk about weather and

months in Melbourne.

Look at the pictures and understand the different seasons between Melbourne and Beijing.

Talk about the weather and months in Melbourne in groups, and then share the ideas in front of the .

Step 3 Free talk

1. Help the students choose another city and talk about the weather or other information

2. Show their talk in pairs in front of the class.

Work in pairs and talk about another city.

Try to use more information to enrich their dialogue.

设计意图:通过小组练习,稳固及运用所学词汇进展对话练习,拓展了学生口语交际能力,也提高 了学生的自信心。

Step 4 Listening

1. Play the tape and help the students complete the exercise 8 on P43.

2. Check the answers and help the students correct the pronunciation [ʃ],[tʃ].

3.Help the students find out more words with the letters sh, or ch.

Listen and write down the correct numbers on the circles.

Find out more words with the letters sh, or ch. Tell if they have the same pronunciation.

设计意图:通过听力活动关注单词的发音:[ʃ],[tʃ].

并通过观察发现字母组合sh, or ch的发音规律,增强识记单词的能力。
