Type Listening and speaking
1.整体设计思路说明
The topic of this unit is “travelling around Asia”. The listening part mainly talks about
three cities in Asia, which can arouse students’ curiosity and interest. The teaching design
combines listening and speaking together, it aims to inspire students to design a travel guide.
课前习:提供微视频,让学生课前学习和做相应的课前准备
课中习:练习听力和复述,以及小组设计旅游指南并展示
课后习:输出和课后拓展
2.教学背景分析
教学内容分析:
(1)This unit mainly introduce about travelling.
(2)The listening part mainly talks about three cities in Asia.
(3)The important sentence pattern is “If you…, you will…”
(4)This period mainly improve students’ listening and speaking”.
学生情况分析:
(1) Students have already learned some basic words and knowledge through pre-learning
tasks.
(2) Students are interested in travelling, and most of them travel a lot.
(3) Students have acquired basic listening and speaking skills, the listening materials and
tasks are suitable for them.
3.教学目标分析
⑴知识与技能
① Students can speak out the new words, phrases and sentences about travelling.
② Students can catch the key information while listening and try retelling after listening. ③ Students can work together to design a travel guide and introduce a city in English.
⑵过程与方法
①Check the pre-learning task by games and competition.
②Improve students’ input and output ability through listening and retelling.
③Use brainstorm to summarize the useful words and expressions for speaking.
⑶情感、态度与价值观
① Learn to compete and cooperate with others. Raise their time consciousness.
② Learn to organize their mind and present the travel guide.

教学重点:
⑴ Learn about the words, phrases and sentence “If you…, you will…”to talk about travelling.
⑵ Students can learn how to catch the main information while listening and make use of
them in speaking.
教学难点:
⑴ Students need to retell the listening materials.
⑵Students need to design a travel guide and give presentations.
