If you were asked to take care of two children, which following place would you take them to, museum, farm, and****解析:可以选Museum,首先孩子们会很感兴趣,细节说下孩子们对博物馆的那些东西感兴趣,比如带他们去科技博物馆,里面有brilliant inventions, fantastic robots, 还能观察一些stunning experiment, 这样他们可以很开心和fully engage in, 第二个理由是帮他们expand horizon, 可以说自己是物理专业的,非常擅长用简单的语言解释复杂的原理,能让他们明白一些电啊,机械啊,光学之类的知识我会很有成就感。
Do you agree or disagree with this statement; students should take more courses and gain credits to graduate as soon as possible.
第二个太多的课程会take up too much social life time, 比如学生如果课不多可以多参加club,part-time,or volunteer job,那么他们可以认识更多其他专业学生和教授,有利于develop social skills和broaden social circle,这个在他们毕业工作后帮助很大。
Task 1.Which one of the following activities would like to take the kids on for a field?1. science museum2. local farm3. theater performancePersonally, I prefer to take the kids to visit the local farm. To begin with, students stay indoors most of the time, fortunately, taking a field trip on a farm brings the students closer to mother nature, and they can enjoy the breeze on the farm. Plus, there are a lot of funny activities on a farm, like taking a hay ride, setting up a bonfire, or even doing some BBQ. These kind of activities can be great fun. I bet students can get away from their busy life and study and get a chance to relax and unwind.Task 2.Do you agree or disagree with the following statement:students should be allowed to take additional courses to graduate as soon as possible.Personally, I don’t agree with this statement. Instead, I believe students should take their time, and don’t need to be in a hurry to graduate. To begin w ith, the current job market is pretty tough, frankly, graduating students are competing for very limited vacancies, and I think it is a better idea for them to stay in college to avoid the tough job market. Additionally, school should not encourage early graduation, and the student should take their time and lay a solid foundation for the future job. Actually, the ultimate purpose of entering the college is not to graduate, but it is to find a nice job.3月19日托福口语真题Task 1If you are a teacher of a tutor group and you are going to take students to a study trip, where would you take them to? A science museum, a local farm, or a theatreperformance?范例If I were the teacher, I’d take my students to a local farm for sure. With the great leap forward of urbanization, most kids lose the opportunity to learn about our mother nature unwittingly. As a teacher myself, I couldn’t remember how many times I threw out the question “tell me about your favorite animal” with uncomfortably long pauses. My students find it tough to answer the question from direct experience. They aren’t able to list typical features of those animals or their living habits or anything! What a shocking fact! So I’d love to provide my students a chance to get closer to those warm creatures and soft grasslands than to cold machines and concrete streets.3月19日托福口语真题Task 2Agree or disagree that students should take some additional courses so that they can get their credits more quickly?范例Personally speaking, taking additional cour ses shouldn’t be encouraged at school. To begin with, the purpose of attending school is not only limited to obtaining credits and degrees, but also taking time to ponder on the moment of truth and take pleasure to swim in the sea of knowledge. Extra time and energy could spill over better places like reading extensively as well as intensively on areas of interest, and participating in all sorts of seminars to learn from established professors and curious peers. Besides, school is a wonderful place to meet like-mind souls and appreciate the attractiveness of differences. Spending more time learning from people around you is much more valuable than getting lost in the hustle and bustle of earning credits.3月19日托福口语真题Task 3Reading: 学校公告推迟一小时上课,从8am改为9am。
讲的是早期的两栖动物从水里迁移到陆地遇到的问题:无法get rid of CO2 from their blood。

Today's news on March 19th was quite thought-provoking. One of the main stories that caught my attention was about the increasing problem of air pollution in major cities around the world. The news reported that the air quality index in some cities has reached hazardous levels, causing serious health issues for the residents. This news reminded me of a saying in English, "The elephant in the room." It means a big problem that everyone is aware of but no one wants to address or talk about. Air pollution is definitely the elephant in the room for many cities. Despite the growing awareness of the issue, governments and individuals often fail to take effective actions to combat it. This is due to various reasons, such as economic interests, lack of political will, and ignorance. For example, in my own city, the air pollution problemis quite severe. The government has implemented certain measures to reduce pollution, such as promoting public transportation and encouraging the use of electric vehicles. However, these efforts are not enough to solve the problem completely. Many factories and industries still contributeto the pollution, and individuals continue to use vehicles that emit harmful gases. It seems like everyone knows about the problem, but no one wants to make the necessary sacrifices to address it.

Not only does this lead to many harmful behaviors, such as excessive exercise, eating disorders, and even cosmetic surgery, which can affect our physical health, it can also have a negative impact on our mental health, making us feel anxious, even depressed, and plunging us into deep self-doubt.We should take positive actions to eliminate our appearance anxiety. You should write at least 150 words but no more than 200 words.People are now increasingly aware of the challenges in making a decision when faced with too many choices. Especially for students, they often have many different choices before them, and it is indeed a major challenge to make the right choice. For one thing, for most of us, sometimes you can make decisions in an instant, but at other times the choice feels overwhelming. Students may feel anxious when confronted with too many choices and the anxiety may cause a fear of making the wrong choice and later suffering the consequences. This may cause you to hesitate, ruminate, or fail to make any decision at all.For another, some students ,It is easy for them to blindly follow others to make choices without considering whether this choice suits them.As far as I’m concerned,If you are struggling to decide what to do, keep your long-term goals in mind. " You can make comments, give explanations or cite examples to develop your essay. You should write at least 150 words but no more than 200 words.People are now increasingly aware of the “digital gap” or challenges the elderly face in a digital world. Digitalization has become a prominent feature of current social changes in our country. Moreover, a worrisome point is that a fair number of the elderly still face the problem of "digital siege", which should attract increasing attention nowadays.Personally speaking, there are two reason accounting for this phenomenon. First and foremost, digital technology is rapidly updated and iterated in a short time so that it is difficult for most elderly people to keep their pace with the trend due to physical and intellectual limitations. In addition, the majority of digital technologies are based on the market needs of young people. Only the aged learn the cumbersome intelligent operation can they be able to apply the technologies, which virtually raises the technical threshold of the old people's digital life. According to statistics, our country is officially entering a moderately aged society. Therefore, we should spare no efforts to help the aged overcome the challenges and enjoy the benefits brought by the digitalization.03 阅读部分词汇理解(1)文章开头开头:Unthinkable as it may be, humanity, every last person...(2)答案【答案速查】26-30 KGLHB 31-35 JAIND26. Another piece that caught my attention was about a group of young activists who were fighting for climate justice. They were protesting outside a major oil company, demanding accountability for the environmental damage caused by their operations. It was inspiring to see the younger generation taking a stand for the health of our planet and future generations.另一篇引起我的关注的文章是关于一群年轻活动家正在为气候正义而奋斗。
2020年3月19日托福口语答案解析Task 1.Which one of the following activities would like to take the kids on for a field?1. science museum2. local farm3. theater performancePersonally, I prefer to take the kids to visit the local farm. I bet students can get away from their busy life and study and get a chance to relax and unwind.Task 2.Do you agree or disagree with the following statement:students should be allowed to take additional courses to graduate as soon as possible.Personally, I don't agree with this statement. Instead, I believe students should take their time, and don't need to be in a hurry to graduate. To begin with, the current job market is pretty tough, frankly, graduating students are competing for very limited vacancies, and I think it is a better idea for them to stay in college to avoid the tough job market. Additionally, school should not encourage early graduation, and the student should take their time and lay a solid foundation for the future job. Actually, the ultimate purposeof entering the college is not to graduate, but it is to find a nice job.3月19日托福口语真题Task 1If you are a teacher of a tutor group and you are going to take students to a study trip, where would you take them to? A science museum, a local farm, or a theatre performance?范例If I were the teacher, I’d take my students to a local farm for sure. So I’d love to provide my stu dents a chance to get closer to those warm creatures and soft grasslands than to cold machines and concrete streets.3月19日托福口语真题Task 2Agree or disagree that students should take some additional courses so that they can get their credits more quickly?范例 Personally speaking, taking additional courses shouldn't be encouraged at school. To begin with, the purpose of attending school is not only limited to obtaining credits and degrees, but also taking time to ponder on the moment of truth and take pleasure to swim in the sea of knowledge. Extra time and energy could spill over better places likereading extensively as well as intensively on areas of interest, and participating in all sorts of seminars to learn from established professors and curious peers. Besides, school is a wonderful place to meet like-mind souls and appreciate the attractiveness of differences. Spending more time learning from people around you is much more valuable than getting lost in the hustle and bustle of earning credits.3月19日托福口语真题Task 3Reading:学校公告推迟一小时上课,从8am改为9am。

Actually, many of our idols are only made to “look” cool. If we could see into their private lives, we would find these stars aren’t so bright. Some of them might not be as honest, kind or hard-working as we are! When I was a teenager, I, along with most of my classmates, had pop idols, too. Then, one day, I discovered Leonard Cohen and Neil Young. They were ordinary-looking(相貌平常的) people who played the guitar while sitting on a chair. They wore no flashy clothes, and they had no crazy fans. They didn’t need to be flashy because their songs were great and meaningful. They told the truth: Life is hard and the road you take might sometimes be lonely. Most of all, they taught me that it was okay if I was not popular and cool all of the time. I still listen to them today. Modern “idol culture” often sends the wrong message that life is always easy and fun. But the best actors, the top sports stars and the most creative scientists all have scars(伤疤)from the stress of dealing with life’s many difficulties.Idols can serve as important role models in our lives, so it’s very important to choose the right ones. We should praise people who teach us important values that can help to guide us on the road ahead.36. It is natural for people to admire cool and good-looking young “idols.”37. Actually, many of our idols are as bright as we think.38.Though Leonard Cohen and Neil were ordinary-looking, they could have fans because their songs were great and meaningful.39. Modern “idol culture” often sends the message that life is always easy and fun.40. We should praise people who teach us important values that can help to guide us on the road ahead.(C)Meeting someone for the first time can be embarrassing if you get it wrong. Suppose you are going to meet a person from the U.K. Do you know what you should say and do? A handshake is the most common way to greet someone, especially if you are in a formal(正式的) situation. However, the type of handshake is important. Your handshake should be confident, but that doesn’t mean you need to crush(挤压) anybody’s fingers. On the other hand, don’t be too weak. It’s always a good idea to smile and look at the person you are shaking hands with. Lastly, remember that two shakes are enough. Take hold of the hand and shake it up and down twice. Don’t hold on for too long — you are not asking someone to dance! Hugging and kissing are more informal greetings in the U.K. They are usually for friends, family and small children. When meeting someone for the first time, you may not want to use these types of greetings. In the past, the British would usually greet strangers with a “How do you do?” Today, this expression is seen as out-of-date. It’s seldom used. Expressions such as “How are you doing?” and “How are you?” have become more popular. These expressions, however, can cause some misunderstanding. When a British person says “How are you?” to you, he or she probably doesn’t expect you to really answer the question. You may just reply with a “How are you?” to him or her. Greeting expressions may be different from one place to another. You might hear a “Now then?” or “Ey up?” when you meet someone from the north of the U.K. How should you reply then? Just smile and say “Hi!” or “How are you?”41. The underlined word “out-of-date” in the passage means “______” in Chinese.A. 过时了B. 超时了C. 过期了42. ______ is the most common way to greet someone, especially if you are in a formal situation in the UK.A. A huggingB. A kissC. A handshake43. In the past, the British would usually greet strangers with a “______?”A. How do you doB. How are you doingC. Now then44. How should we shake hands with a British man?B. How should we greet the British for the first time?C. 1Oh wow, the middle school standard academic ability test in March 2024 was totally lit! We had to show off our English skills and prove that we're super smart. It was a bit nerve-wracking, but I nailed it like a boss. The test had a bunch of reading and writing stuff. We had to read some cool articles and answer questions about them. It was all about understanding the main ideas and details, kinda like being a detective and finding clues in a mystery. Then we had to write an essay about a topic we picked from a list. I chose to write about my dream job as a YouTuber, because who wouldn't wanna be a famous vlogger, right? There were also grammar and vocabulary questions, where we had to show off our English smarts. It was like a puzzle figuring out which words fit in the sentences and finding the right meanings for different words. It was like playing a fun word game, but with a timer ticking away. The listening part was super fun too! We got to listen to conversations and stories, and then answer questions about them. It was like watching a cool movie or podcast, but with a test at the end. I felt like a secret agent eavesdropping ontop-secret conversations.Overall, the test was a challenge, but I had a blast showing off my English skills. I can't wait to see my score and prove that I'm a total language whiz. Bring it on, future tests – I'm ready for anything!篇2Hello everyone! Today I'm going to talk about the Middle School Standard Academic Ability Test in March 2024 for English subject. It was super long and a bit tricky, but I tried my best and here's my experience.First, there were multiple choice questions about grammar and vocabulary. Some of them were easy, like choosing the right verb form or filling in the blank with the correct word. But there were also some tough ones that made me scratch my head a little bit. Then, there were reading comprehension questions. We had to read a few passages and answer questions about them. Someof the passages were interesting, like one about a famous scientist or a story about a boy who discovered a hidden treasure.I had to read carefully to make sure I got all the details right. After that, there was a writing section where we had to write an essay. The topic was about the importance of education in the modern world. I talked about how education can open doors to new opportunities and help us reach our goals. I tried to use good vocabulary and grammar to impress the examiners. Finally, there was a speaking test where we had to talk about a given topic for a few minutes. I talked about my favorite hobby, which is playing basketball. I shared how it helps me stay active and make new friends. I was a bit nervous, but I spoke confidently and tried to use clear and correct English.Overall, the test was challenging but fun. I feel proud of myself for giving my best effort and completing all the sections. I can't wait to see how I did and hopefully, I'll get a good score. Good luck to everyone who took the test! Thanks for listening to my experience.篇3Hello everyone, my name is Lily and I am a middle school student. Today, I want to talk to you about the StandardAcademic Ability Test in English that I took in March 2024. It was a challenging test, but I tried my best and want to share my experience with you.First of all, the test had different sections such as listening, reading, writing, and speaking. The listening part was a bit tricky for me because some of the questions were really fast. But I practiced a lot beforehand, so I managed to catch most of the information. The reading section was also tough, but I made sure to read each passage carefully and answer the questions with focus.Next, the writing part was my favorite because I love expressing my thoughts and ideas in English. I had to write an essay about my favorite book and why I liked it. I chose "Harry Potter" because it's a magical story that takes me to a different world every time I read it. I described the characters, the plot, and the lessons I learned from the book.Lastly, the speaking test was nerve-wracking for me because I had to talk in front of the examiner. But I practiced speaking English with my friends and teachers, so I felt more confident. I had to talk about my dream job and why I wanted to pursue it. I said I wanted to be a teacher because I love helping others learn and grow.In conclusion, the Standard Academic Ability Test in English was a challenging but rewarding experience for me. I learned a lot and had fun while taking the test. I hope to continue improving my English skills and doing well in future tests. I know that by practicing and studying, I can improve my English skills even more. I can't wait to see how I did on the test and keep growing as a student!。
