GRE类比与反义易考词汇(一)1.About-face:有关面子的。
日常的小事我都是大大咧咧,什么都无所谓的,可是对于面子问题我的态度是绝对强硬的:人的尊严是不可侵犯的----(态度,观点等)彻底改变。
2.Accordion:我扣得严,能扣上的东西一般都是折叠的,把几层折叠的东西扣在一起就成了褶了。
我查Webster上的解释(和巅峰上的稍有不同):foldingorcreasedorhingedtofoldlikeanaccordion<anaccordionpleat>他都说能hinged 了,铰链也是可以扣上的啊,所以从“扣”可以推出折叠----褶的,折叠的。
3.Ace:扑克中的A,网球中的Ace球,golf中一球进洞,击落5架敌机以上的王牌飞行员。
总之以上的种种都是凤毛麟角(我觉得用凤毛麟角来解释这个词很恰当)的情况,是少之又少却极为出色的----极小量,佼佼者。
4.Acephalous:①我赛服老师。
老师跟我比赛被我打败了,服我了,无地自容的走了。
②我欺负老师。
老师被我欺负走了。
老师都走了,那学生们就是----无头的,群龙无首的。
③a,cepha(头),lous-lose。
一个失去头的团体----无头的,群龙无首的。
5.Address:我拽死。
我被拽住、牵扯,忙得要死----忙于,专注于;对付,处理。
6.Aerosol:aero,sol-走。
在空气中游走的东西----浮质。
7.Affiance:我费N事。
我费了N多的事才把她追到手跟她订婚----使订婚,使定亲。
8.Afflatus:①我抚latus-lantern(灯笼)。
我抚摩了神灯就有神灵出现给我启示和灵感。
②我服了他。
他的灵感他的才思让我佩服----灵感,神的启示。
9.Akin:我亲。
我和他是亲戚,所以相似----同宗的,相似的。
看Webster就总能看到这个词,akinto。

年7~8月合刊)中,我们提到了类比题中纵向上的反义对应,即正确答案的单词和题干中与之对应的单词之间存在着反义的关系。
其出题模式为:题干A:B;答案为A:B。
从横向来看,A和B之间的逻辑关系与A和B之间的逻辑关系是一致的;但从纵向来看,A与A或B与B为反义词或广义上的反义词。
如果考生可以
通过纵向的反义来处理题目,就可以更好地体会命题人设计类比题目“工整、对仗”的初衷。
