2014年全国卷高考英语听力分析

2014年全国卷高考英语听力整体情况稳中有变,主要体现在材料语言风格更加口语化,题目设置上灵活性增强,带有明显的全国英语等级考试第二级听力的特点。这些变化符合高考英语改革要求。本套试题整体上有12个左右的难度题,难点主要在于对简单的口语化材料的透彻理解;整套材料的词数为929个单词,比去年的词数略多;主播没有变化,仍为Kris & Laura;平均语速为150wpm左右,与去年相差不大;但是语速分布不均匀,尤其是Text 10独白语速较快。与湖南卷和湖北卷相比,全国卷的录音最接近日常实际对话的自然语速。下面我们从以下几个方面进行分析。

一、材料

1. 话题:包含了高考大纲24个话题项目表中的许多话题,如日常生活、人际关系、天气、文娱与体育、工作、热点话题等。

2. 语言风格:对话以简单句为主,冗余信息比较多,这体现了口语特色,且基本没有太难的单词或习惯用语。

3. 材料的组织。

(1)干扰项信息点密集。可以看出出题人在组织材料上是刻意下了一番功夫的,很多题的正确选项和错误选项的信息密集地出现在原文中。这点我们可以在第3、5、8、9、10、15、16、17小题对应的材料中看到。这启示我们在选练习材料时要关注材料本身的干扰性信息点含量。(2)对话材料的互动性明显,这体现了语言交流的本质。互动性材料为设置互动性的试题做准备,如T2, 对男方的提问(What will the man do for the woman?)需从女方的话语及男方的回应中,分析双方话语从而得出确切的答案。这点反映了听力的一个考查重点,即对上下文语境的正确理解,问题在双方互动中迎刃而解。

(3)字数。去年共905个词,今年共929个词,比去年略增加。T10较长,有276个词,语速快,材料和试题均有难度。

二、设题

本套试题体现了4个能力考查点的考查,以考查事实细节为主,为11个左右;其余的理解推断总结题约为9个,都有一定的难度。推断题主要集中在五个短对话和6、8、9、10四个长对话中,比如:第2、3、7、12、13、20小题,分布较均匀。

1.选项设计干扰性强。第3、5、8、9、10、15、16、17小题设计构思巧妙,干扰性

信息点密集,增强了题目灵活性。部分题目的三个选项不仅在材料中出现过,

而且位置紧密,这给考生做题造成了一定的困难。这类题要求学生在听取录音

时,不仅需要记录相关信息点,同时也还需要排除干扰项的录音,真正理解材

料。

以Text 8的第9题为例:

9. Where will the speakers go?

A. The Green House Cinema.

B. The New State Cinema.

C. The UME Cinema.

该题的干扰项在原文中位置紧密,男士首先推荐一个电影院The Green House Cinema,女士觉得时间紧否决了男士的提议,紧接着也推荐一个电影院The New State Cinema,但马上否决了自己的想法,随即提出第三个电影院The UME Cinema.男士回复的OK,终于双方

意见达成一致,该题因而有了正确答案。

2. 短对话题目设置依旧很灵活,难度高于前两年。五个短对话含事实细节、推理判断、观点态度、主旨大意四个能力考察点,大多需要理解、推断、总结并进行合理的排除才能选出正确答案,难度较大,是对学生的知识水平、理解能力及心理承受力的综合考查。

第1题是五个题中稍简单的一道,问的是What does the woman want to do? 这一点同去年一样,直接问的是第一个说话者的内容,很多人会思维上不习惯,再加上选项信息的集中干扰,要做对也不容易。

第 3 题推断人物身份, Who might Mr. Peterson be? 学生不仅要有听懂原文的语言能力,还要有一定的社会经验这样的非语言知识,方能做出正确选择。

第5题What are the speakers talking about?需要综合理解男女双方所说的话,才能总结出主旨。

3. 推断和理解类题目难度较去年略有增加。材料内容组织的巧妙、选项干扰性强、综合推理判断技巧的使用使这类题目的难度上了一个小层次。长对话的材料虽然简单,话题大多平易近人,但题目做起来不容易。如:

这道题问Harry不出去玩的真正原因。材料中男士先后说了两个借口:my right arm hurts;my knee hurts, too. 这都被女士识破,最后男士终于说出真正原因:想在家看球赛。为解答这道题,需要全面理解上下文及双方话语,并理清干扰项。

再看Text 8的两道题:

12. What is the probable relationship between the speakers?

这两道题则需要学生从上下文以及关键词汇来推测说话者旅行的目的以及两人的关系。

最后一段独白谈的是城市和小镇生活这样一个老话题。

20. What kind of life does the speaker seem to like most?

A. Busy.

B. Colourful.

C. Quiet.

此题需要综合理解说话者的话语,明白其真正的态度,并从“Still, I would rather be a bit more careful and live in a large city than to feel safe but dull.”中理解出其对多彩生活的向往。

纵观今年及往年的高考真题,我们发现听力考试越来越重视对学生真实听力水平以及日常交际能力的考查。因此,在平时训练中,我们有如下建议:

(1)加强针对性训练,选择信息点丰富,题目灵活,选项干扰性强,话题与长度符合高考要求的资料进行训练。考生要提升听力,需要真正理解材料,熟悉设问点,训练思维,因此要多听多练。

(2)广泛接触各种日常话题和各方面的题材,精听泛听双管齐下,不断提升听力水平。

(3)老师需要熟悉全国听力和二级听力PETS 2的话题特点、设问方式及选项特点,训

练学生听力答题思维,并增加各方面日常话题的练习,鼓励学生留心观察生活,积累素材,方能以不变应万变。

(4)平时训练时尽量听与正常语速接近的材料。
