The Power of Role Model
We all born as something new, something that never existed before, so the role model is significant. Because a role model means that someone is worthy of learn from. “If I have seen farther than others, it is because I was standing on the shoulders of giants.”Newton’s words showed us the power of role model. We can follow their footsteps to do things appropriately.
In our society, there is no lack of role models. Saihanba district was a desert in the 1960’s. The environment there was terrible. There was a huge area which has few trees. Now, it becomes a famous forest farm. In the fifty years,many people struggled in the field. They had to bear the lack of food and water, as well as the bad climatic conditions. We call it as “the spirit of Saihanba”.Now the beautiful place feedback them with profitability and Ecological benefits. They are our role models. There is no superhero in the story, only the ordinary one. But the power of average people impress me a lot.
I’m an ordinary teacher in the elementary school.
Maybe you are unfamiliar with the daily life for an elementary teacher. The kids meet lots of problems everyday. My job is to solve their problems. There aren’t tricky problems actually. So sometimes I feel bored with that kind of life. At that moment, my colleagues always show me the professionalism of a teacher. When kids lose their passion on studying, teachers always encourage them. When kids meet problems teacher help them to solve problems. Even when they don’t have breakfast, teacher will provide them with bread and milk. Everyday there are some kids around teachers. My dear colleagues are always full of passion. At that moment, I found the smile on children’ faces, their eyes flashed like lighting.I got the significant of being a teacher. I think they’re my models. They show me a kind of direction, which point me the way forward.
There are lots of role models in our world, maybe they are just around us. I appreciate the power of role model,which will benefits me more in my following life.
