二、Review

1.Review the prepositions: in, on ,under. Show a box, some toys, or other things, ask questions: Where is th e…?

2.Write the prepositions on the blakboard, ask pupils to read them.

三、Presentation

1.Leading: ‘Do you like toys? Today I’ll introdue some new toys to you. Next we are going to learn Chapter 5 My toys.’ Show the tittle and teach it.

2.Show the pictures of a puzzle, a yo-yo, a toy truck, a spaceship,

a robot, a computer on the screen. Listen to the pronunciation of these words carefully.

3.Write down these words on the blakboard, ask more able pupils to read the words they know. Then teach the words.

4.Ask every pupil in a row to read the word one by one.

5.In this link, show the pronunciations of the letters u, oy, and o in the words. U pronunces 「」in the words: puzzle, truk, duck, us. Oy pronunces「」in the words: toy, boy. O pronunces「」in the words: yo-yo, robot, coke, go. Ask pupils to read the words, then let them read altogether.

6.Teach the words: shelf and cupboard.

7. Look at the mouth of the teacher and speak out of the words the teacher says.

8.Ask pupils to speak out the words they know, then let pupils put the pitures beside the right words.

9.Play a puzzle game. Show some puzzles on the screen, guess what it is .

10.Show part of the room about the desk in the wall picturean teach the sentence: There’s a….It’s on\in\under….There’re….They’re in\on\under….Ask question: What’s in the piture? Where is it? For example: There’s a toy truck.It’s under the desk.Teach the sentenes. Ask pupils to read them group by group.

11.Talk about parts of the shelf and the cupboard.Let more able pupils teach other pupils the sentenes.

四、Practise

1.Show the wall picture on the screen.Ask pupils to

describ the toys in the room by using the strctures we’ve reviewed before.Then listen to the record and check the answers they are right or wrong.

2.Listen to the teacher’s order and act.
