For years I wanted a flower garden, but with five children I was too busy to have one. Money was limited, and so was time. Started in 1636, Harvard University is the oldest of all the many colleges and universities in the United States. Yale, Princeton, Columbia and Dartmouth were opened soon after Harvard.
In the early years, these schools were much alike. Only young men went to college. All the students studied the same subjects, and everyone learned Latin, Greek and Hebrew. 五十年代中期惠高琐忆 ◎王师式 六十年前，我就读于惠阳高级中学，那一段生活令人难以忘怀。 1953年，我初中毕业报考高中。冯擷常老师对我说，你还是报考县城（桥东）的惠州中学吧，省里已经决定更名为广东惠阳高级中学，为省重点，我们一些老师也要调过去。于是，我舍近求远上了广东惠阳高级中学，成了住校生。 入学的第一天，就给人留下了振奋的印象。学校大门的中轴线上，由南向北，是一溜古老建筑，大顶飞檐，折射出历史的沧桑，给人以厚重的文化积淀及悠久的历史传统的感觉，它就是旧日的归善学宫。与此成鲜明对照的是，左右两侧直立着两长排崭新的两层教学楼；还有落成不久的礼堂兼师生食堂；表现现代文明的的偌大体育场，又给人一种春风萌发、老树新枝、欣欣向荣的快感。 教室有富余，我们就住在空余的教室里，既不紧迫，也很方便。楼下是宿舍，楼上是课堂，隔邻是食堂。还有体育场、图书馆、实验室等。 教师陆续调来，有少数是师范院校刚毕业的，大多是其他学校调来的。我原来就读的初中（惠阳县一中）老师冯撷常、高予从、何辛、陈汉光陆续调来，何辛还升任教导主任。开始有了讲普通话的外省老师（过去是极为罕见的），更多是本省老师。 我们这一届招收了4个班，生员已扩大到惠阳地区。一切工作在有条不紊地进行着，一项决策正在密锣紧鼓筹划当中，并已现端倪，万事俱备只欠东风。 1954年，这是不寻常的一年，是值得牢记的一年。这是抗美援朝胜利后的第一年，是战争时期转为和平建设时期的第一个年头，是共和国建设第一个五年计划的第二年，国家需要有文化的建设人才，各地高等院校呼唤着大量优质的生员。在这一年，广东省政府《关于开办五所新型高级中学的决定》出台。这五所高级中学分别是：韶关高级中学、梅州高级中学、潮州高级中学、惠阳高级中学、茂名的高州高级中学。于是，这年的秋季，广东惠阳高级中学正式成立。 上级为了满足各地对人才的渴求，作出决定，这年秋季招收17个班，800余人，整整是正常招生年份的四倍多。这正是未赋予大跃进之名的真正“大跃进”，显然给平静校园的“湖面”上投下了大石，影响激越而深远。 学校的大发展令人振奋之余，接蹱而来的是些实际问题。应该说，事先是有准备的，
2020年惠州中考体育考试方案 惠州市2015年中考体育考试方案 中共中央、国务院明确提出“全国组织实施初中毕业升学体育考试，并逐步加大体育成绩在学生综合素质评价和中考成绩中的分量”。我市为进一步贯彻党的教育方针，贯彻实施《国家学生体质 健康标准》，改革、完善学生毕业、升学体育考试制度，促进社会、学校、家长对学生体质健康状态的关心和重视，切实增强学生体质，特制定本方案。 一、组织领导 初中毕业生体育考试工作在市教育局统一领导下，由市教育考试中心牵头负责、中小学教育科、体艺卫科、教研室和监察室等相关 科室负责人为成员配合组织实施。县(区)机构和工作职责参照执行。 二、考试对象 2015年我市所有符合条件应届初中毕业生(含我市户籍就读于外 地的应届初中毕业生)。 三、报名时间 2015年初中三年级报名时间为2015年3月9日至3月13日。 四、考试时间 2015年3月20日至4月15日。县(区)学校考试时间由各县(区)教育考试中心统一安排，市直中学、惠阳高级中学初中部惠城区户 籍考生归属惠城区教育考试中心统一安排。 五、考试办法 (一)考试组织 市直学校、惠城区学校和惠阳高级中学初中部(属惠城区户口报 考市直中学和惠城区学校的考生)考试由惠城区教育考试中心负责组
