A trip to Beijing
Last Sunday I went to Beijing with my father by train. There are many places of interests to visit in Beijing. First we visited the Bird’s Nest and the Water Cube. Then we went to the Great Wall. There were so many people on the Great Wall. Some of them were foreigners and they were friendly. I tried to talk with them in English. Though I made some mistakes, they encouraged me to speak more. We talked very happily. Finally we went to Beijing Zoo. There were many different kinds of animals in it. I liked monkeys best because they were very lovely. Beijing is very beautiful and I look forward to visiting it again.
二、暑假就要到了，假设你们学校的外外籍教师Miss Green要到海南旅游度假，她写信向你(Zhang Ming)了解情况。请你写一封80词左右的回信，内容包括：

Dear Miss Green,
A trip to Hainan is the best choice for your summer holidays. Hainan lies in the south of China, where everything is quite different from here in Shandong. The weather there is often changeable, sunny or rainy. No matter what weather it is, it’s very hot there. So sunglasses, a hat, an umbrella are the necessary things you should take with you. There are many different kinds of activities there. You can go fishing, swimming, diving and surfing every day if you like. If you want to relax yourself quietly, you can stay on the golden beach. The beach is very beautiful. You can enjoy the sunlight on it.

My school life
My school life is very interesting.
Class begins at 8:00 am. There are four classes in the morning and two in the afternoon. We study many subjects such as Chinese, maths, English and history. English is my favourite subject
because I think it is interesting. We can read many interesting stories in the English class. But I’m not good at maths. I think it’s boring. My friend Li Ming often encourages me to work hard at it and he often helps me with it.
We have many activities after class. For example, we can play football, have a piano lesson, play table tennis or play chess. I like handwriting. I often practice writing on Tuesday afternoon.
I get on well with my teachers and classmates. I think my school life is wonderful.
