Last year my English class was difficult. First of all, it wasn't easy for me to understand the teacher when she talked. To begin with, she spoke too quickly, and I couldn't understand every word. Later on, I realized that it doesn't matter if you don't understand every word. I was also afraid to speak in class because I thought my classmates might laugh at me. I couldn't always make complete sentences, either. Then I started to watch English-language TV. It helped a lot. I think that doing lots of listening practice is one of the secrets of becoming a good language learner. Another thing that I found very difficult was English grammar. So I decided to take lots of grammar notes in every class. Then I started to write my own original sentences using the grammar I was learning. It's amazing how much this helped. Now I am enjoying learning English and I got an A this term. My teacher is very impressed.
去年我的英语课程太难了。首先，当老师讲课时要弄懂她所讲的内容对我来说并不容易。开始时，她语速太快了，我并不能听懂每个单词。后来，我认识到不能弄懂每个单词并没有关系。我还害怕在课堂上说英语，因为我认为我的同学们可能会笑话我。我也造不出完整的句子。接下来我开始看英语电视节目。那对我很有帮助。我认为做大量的听力练习是成为一个好的语言学习者的秘诀之一。其次我认为英语语法很难。所以我决定每节课都记大量的语法笔记。然后我开始用现在学习的语法来写我自己的句子。我惊异于这些方法竟有如此大的作用。现在我很喜欢学习英语，这学期我的英语成绩得了A。我的老师对我留下了深刻的印象。
