·We are grad students and we study at HUST. We live in the students’ dormitory so first we must get along well with our roommates. And when it comes to roommates I think that all my 3 roommates are so nice. They are enthusiastic, generosity and humorous. So our daily life is very happy and exciting. And our teachers are kind, too. They are very responsible for teaching and patient to us. After class they are very kind to us and we can get along in a kind of very relaxing atmosphere.
·In China, we often believe that the most important things is to be considerate. As there is a famous sayings“己所不欲勿施于人”（it means we can’t give things that we don’t want to others, we often need to think about other people. The other one I think is open mind. We come from different city, we grow up in different environment, then we cannot share the same attitude and views towards something. Open mind can help us solve this. We don’t to think the same way, and we must tolerate difference.
·Interpersonal relationship differs from culture to culture. When we get along with foreigners, being considerate and keeping open mind is vital, too. For example, some foreigners have their own religion belief. We must respect their religion belief and give them abundant space.
Topic 2 Housing and Dwelling
·I live in the students’ dormitory currently. Our dormitory is small,
its space is about 15 square meters. I have 3 roommates we share the same room which makes our house is crowded. In addition, the condition in our dorm is just fine. We don’t have independent bathroom which makes our washing become very inconvenient. And we don’t have a balcony, either. But what satisfied us is that there is an air conditioner. Our dorm may not be the most comfortable, we complain about its narrow and crowed, but it’s very warm.
·After graduate I think I will rent a small house for dwelling. First I will consider its distance from my working place. I don’t want to spend much time on the bus or subway because I always feel sick. The second factor is its surrounding environment. I feel uncomfortable in crowded and noisy place. So I prefer quiet but safe house. And the last one I need to consider is the facility equipment. There should be shopping mall, restaurants and supermarkets.
·Yes, I always believe that I have to buy a little house for myself before I get married. It may not be so spacious and big. I will equip and decorate delicately. Except for guest room, dining room, kitchen and bed room, I’d like a balcony. I will plant many flowers here.
Topic 3 Traveling
·England is my favorite country and it’s my dreaming travel place. First, I think it’s very glamorous. In London, there are many view spot
we can have a look, such as London Eye, London Bridge, Westminster Palace, Buckingham Palace, Cambridge University and so on. Its scenery, its cultural atmosphere and its modern fashion are so amazing that makes me yearn. Except for some modern city, the view of the countryside is charming, too. We can see this from the TV show
·It’s a preparation for the travel. We must search for useful information like the spots worthy to travel, the weather there, the routine, and the traffic. Knowing the details we can prepare for something in advance. What to take is important. In fact, here is some stuff we must take: clothes that suit the weather, some medicines, a map, a camera. Then it’s time to order the tickets. No matter what vehicle you prefer, you must book tickets first. And don’t forget to book the hotel after we decide where to stay.
·As for travel method, I used to travel by myself and join a group. I think I prefer travel with a group. First, I enjoy paying all my attention to the travel without worry about where we eat, where we stay and what is the best routine. The agency arranges everything well, so I don’t need to concern. Just enjoy the beautiful scenery and have a good rest. Then I won’t wear out myself before the journey. The second, I think the tour guide is show you some details such as the background and historical story about the view, that make me know more about the view more than
just have a look and take photos.
Topic 4 Health and Diet
·What important to keep health is healthy diet, healthy lifestyle and proper exercise. First we must keep our diet healthy. We often want to satisfy our taste buds instead of our healthy body which leads us prefer delicious food. But delicious food is unhealthy food. We like junk food such as hot and sweet snacks but the truth is that that kind of food is rich in fat and calories that result in some healthy problems. There is much nutrition, calcium and vitamin that contained in fruits, vegetables and meats are very vital to our body. Healthy lifestyle is important, too. We must sleep early, get up early, eat regularly and drink abundant water. Stay up late and boil the night is harmful for our body. Then our body needs sports, it’s necessary to exercise regularly. Jogging, running, yoga, play badminton are effective exercise methods. Sport keeps our lives moving!
·What is healthy diet？Healthy diet means a kind of diet that good for our healthy. Eating healthy food are quite significance. We are what we eat. So we must pay attention to the ingredient and material before we open our mouth. More energy, calcium, vitamin and nutrition are better. At the same time we must care about the time and quantity. Eating meals at a stable time is we must keep in mind. Moreover, when eating what we like we unconsciously eat too much and that’s unfit. Insufficient food leads to hanger but too much food leads to disease because it causes too
much pressure to digest.
·Mental health and physical health are equally important. Healthy diet, healthy lifestyle and proper exercise are the keys to physical health. When is comes to mental health, I think we must keep optimistic and calm. Get along well with others and make friends will do good.
Topic 5 Past and Future
·If I have a time machine, I think I will go to the future because I want to see my future. I am always very curious about my future. Will I be happy? Who is my husband and I want to know about my job. If everything is good I think I will be confident about my life. And if my future is not so nice I won’t be upset I will do something meaningful.
·If I could go back to my past, I think I will change my mind about one important choice------choose our major when I am in the high school.
I am good at science but I was influenced by others, they said that girls can’t do well in physics and chemistry. For fear of it I choose liberal arts. But it turns out that I can manage it because I am good at something difficult and logical, such as math and geology. So I really regret about my choice.

·First I think it will be humorous. A humorous man will attract my attention. And he must be responsible and mature. He will be a company as well as a guide. If there is something distracts me, he can tell me how to deal with it. Moreover he must be my friends before my lover. We should hit it off a lot. We can talk much and share much.
·Why do some people keep single?
It’s hard to comment on this. Maybe it’s totally their personal choices. Marriage is an important thing and we can get married without careful thinking. And if they can’t find the one with who they want to spend his whole life, he will keep waiting he right one.
·Why does marriage matter and how to make it last？Because marriage is one of the most important choices in one’s life. Your marriage will decide who is your wife or husband that will keep you company for your whole life. And it will influence your whole life. So we must keep an eye about choosing our husband. As for how to keep it last, I think it will be your mutual understanding. After get married, a couple’s life will change a lot, you will live together, there will be your children, your will quarrel on trifles. As time goes by, there will be much obstacle in their way. So mutual understanding will play an important role at that time.
Topic 7 Chinese and Foreigners
·I think it’s our talking way. Our attitude is always humble, polite and low-key. Instead of saying something straight and frankly, we often speak
in another way, like more euphemistic and tactful. And if necessary we may not say truth try to be considerate. For instance, if others appraise us, we behave unnaturally and deny their compliment.
·As for Chinese culture, the fundamental spirit is peace. We longing for the peace between ourselves and others and the peace between ourselves and nature. And when we get along with others, we often think about others, try to not hurt others’feelings, so as to make a peaceful atmosphere.
·Obstacles between Chinese communicate with foreigners:
Because of different sense of value we often meet come obstacles when communicate with foreigners. We Chinese appreciate a friendly atmosphere between even say something not real. But foreigners are more honest and realistic. For example, Chinese often talk very peacefully and humble, and foreigners may think they are not so honest and frank. In contrary, we may regard foreigners are too sensible and frank; they are not so sociable and friendly. And this will lead to misunderstanding. Topic 8 Job and Career
