通过不断的学习后，我自己反思过去的教学，还存在许多问题。
一、对教材的深度挖掘不够。课前准备不足导致课堂效率低下：初中生的求知欲非常强烈，对新鲜事物的联想力也很丰富，很多课本中出现的生活性词汇在短时间内便能掌握，有时上课前做的准备不足，学生们提出的各种课本外的问题根本没有想象到，导致课堂效率和课堂气氛受到影响。
二、作业批改不及时，由于自已在工作中的懒惰思想，导致有时学生交的作业当天不能及时批阅，学生们没有趁着刚写完的劲头去改正，时间略一长，就把东西忘了，导致最后的作业效果不强。
三、辅优扶困做得很不到位，从几次考试的成绩来看，优秀生没有达到优秀生的标准，学困生也没有上来。说明这方面的做法是失败的。今后的主要精力课堂上要照顾大部分中等生和后进生身上，课下多找些资料给优秀生去指导，去向他们提更高的要求。这样才会取得更好的成绩。
四、学生的思想工作没有做好，现在好多学生不但是中等生，连部分优秀生的思想状态还没有紧张起来。如果继续这样的话，中考的成绩很难想象。不要认为只有班主任才对学生做思想工作，任何一个学科的教师都有教育学生的责任。同时思想工作做到了位，首先对自己的学科教学得益。为此，我
应该坚持经常找学生谈心，找出他们的思想问题，注意帮助他们树立参加中考的正确备考思想。坚持每星期都学生的英语学习过程当中出现的主要思想问题班内强调。使他们的思想得到统一，这样自己的教学才会减少阻力，才能向更高的目标前进。
五、学生对英语学习缺乏兴趣、自信心和学习动力；在英语课堂上不积极参与，缺少主动发言的热情或根本不愿意发言；另外，相当一部分学生在听新课时跟不上老师的节奏或不能理解教师相对较快的指示语。
六、学生对英语课堂知识的掌握不实在、理解不全面，课外花的冤枉时间多；而大部分学生对书本知识不够重视，找不到英语学科复习的有效载体，不能有效的利用课本，适时地回归课本，英语复习缺乏系统性，英语学习缺乏主动性。
七、部分学生缺少教师明确的指导，在复习时缺乏系统安排和科学计划，或者学习和复习没有个性化特点, 导致学习效果不明显。
基于以上情况，我将采取以下整改措施
第一、首先我要有课堂效益意识。教学效益首先体现在课堂教学信息量、教学活动的广度和密度以及媒体的使用上。有效的媒体手段有助于课堂容量、密度和速度的提高。尤其是在复习课堂上适当地使用多媒体手段，不但可以活跃课堂，更能提高学生的参与面，短、频、快的大容量课堂节奏能有
效的吸引并集中学生的学习注意，从而最终提高学习的听课效益；其次，课堂效益意识还体现在教学的设计中要充分为学而教，以学生如何有效获取知识，提高能力的标准来设计教学。课堂设计要有助于学生在课堂上积极参与，有助于他们有效内化知识与信息，复习过程中要重视学习方法的指导，在教学中恰当地渗透中考的信息，拓宽教学内容。
第二、英语课堂上，我应及时有效获取学情反馈，有效地进行课前回顾，课堂小结等环节的落实。为有效地提高英语课堂教学效益，我还可以制定科学的、操作性强的、激励性的英语学习效果评价制度，坚持对学生的听课、作业、笔记等方面进行跟踪，及时了解学生的学习、复习状态与状况，以便在课堂教学过程中做出针对性的调整。
第三、注重课堂教学效率的提高，要切实抓好备课这一环节，即备课要精，练习要精，作业要精。同时，我要积极进行教学反思，由教师自己及时反省、思考、探索和解决教学过程中存在的问题，及时调整教学方法，优化教学过程。在课堂教学中强调基础知识的学习。我要突破现行教材的局限性，在重点语法项目上有系统的强化训练。在句法上不能拘泥于传统的语法层面，要搜集材料，适当拓宽。课堂只有45分钟，学生也不可能在课后花很多时间在一门功课上。因此，我必须提高英语课堂教学的效率。我在课前做好充分准备，加大课堂信息量，理论联系实际，精讲精练，讲练结合。讲，注
意讲重点和难点；练，以限时训练为主，提高学生的解题速度和解题能力；评，及时评讲，重在指导。但有时我发现，因为怕学生漏掉了某些知识点，我还是讲得多了一些，应给他们自己思考的时间少了一些。
第四、要强化分层次教学与辅导，通过分层次教学和辅导提升学生的成绩，从方法上，要抓住学生学习的薄弱点，区别不同情况，有针对性辅导。从策略上，加强学生实际问题的研究，做到缺什么、补什么，从对象上，要重点关注学科明显薄弱的学生，采用教师定学生、师生结对、辅导等有效形式使学生随时能得到教师的辅导和帮助，从而切实提高学生成绩。
第五、做好学习方法上的指导
好的学习方法可以起到事半功倍的效果。我把早读课交由学生自己支配，但不是漫无目的的瞎读，而是有重点的读书，读自己认为掌握不够的部分。单词过不了关的，就记单词；课文不熟悉的，就读课文；句型记不住的，就背句型和例子。同时，我还引导学生注意总结解题经验，探索解题规律，养成良好的解题习惯。并且，我要求学生建立改错本，将错题整理收集起来，反复加强记忆。对于那些没有建立错题本的同学，我要求他们将做过的试卷很好的保存起来，以便自己复习时能用得着。
第六、与学生建立和谐关系
师生关系是影响教学质量的一个重要因素。融洽的师生关系能促进教育质量的提高。毕业班的英语课很难教，枯燥无味，语法多，课文长，需要有基础、又要有毅力和耐心的学生才会跟得上。这时如果融洽了师生关系，学生会亲其师而信其道，听从教师的安排与倡导，促使教学质量的提高；相反，则会对学生的学习动机、兴趣、态度产生消极影响，制约着教育质量的提高。
和谐的师生关系还需要满足学生各种的需要，如关心、尊重、自身价值。根据这些需要，我要经常进行“学生需要或意见调查表”，了解学生需要的结构与层次，及时解决学生的合理需要，而有些暂时解决不了的要创造条件逐步解决，并作好解释工作。在不断的教与学的过程中，我真诚地热爱每一个学生，关心、理解、体贴、尊重、信任他们，把每名学生都当作天才来培育。他们也就尊重、依赖、喜欢我，从而融洽了师生感情。正是这样不断地深入培养，才出现了乐教乐学的喜人局面。
课堂改革不是纸上谈兵，必须要与实践相结合，今后我要努力学习，积极进取，积极参与课程改革，在课改中不断学习，不断实践，不断反思。
