凯文·S·布赖特
凯文·S·布赖特现年47岁，他是《老友记》剧集数名导演中最重要的一个。《老友记》的华纳公司官方网站在剧组导演中只提到了他的名字，其地位可见一斑。
布赖特是在纽约市开始自己的导演生涯的，当时他效力的公司是约瑟夫·盖兹公司。在那里，他先后执导了大卫·科波菲尔、乔治·伯恩斯、桃丽·帕顿、约翰尼·凯什等著名演艺界人物的演出。
此后，他搬家到了洛杉矶。在那里，他执导了获得“有线电视王牌”奖的家庭影院频道(HBO)系列剧《美国白人史》。在HBO，他执导的喜剧剧集中先后有罗宾·威廉姆斯、马丁·马尔、保罗·舍费尔和哈里·希勒等大牌影视谐星加盟。

除了做制片人之外，《老友记》、《维罗尼卡的衣橱》和《杰西》的很多集也由他亲自执话筒执导。
布赖特目前定居在洛杉矶，他和他的妻子克劳迪亚育有一对双胞胎儿子：贾斯廷和扎柯瑞。有一次，布赖特被问到在《老友记》的所有人物中他对谁最有认同感，布赖特作出了一个出人意料的回答：中央珀克咖啡馆的侍应、瑞秋的暗恋者冈瑟。布赖特说：“仅仅知道你能做最好的咖啡就已经够了，你还能一直站在后面，真正地欣赏你面前的天才演员的演出。”
