take意为“带走、拿走”所以与take搭配的短语意思则是由take后面的介词或副词的意思共同决定的。

01take after 长得像......、性格特征像......after是“在......之后”的意思,结合take“带走”的意思,想象一下,把某人的相貌、特征性格都带走了,于是就像某人了。

(这里的take after可以换成look like)注意不要把take after和look after“照顾”记混淆了~02take away 带走、拿走away本身就是“远离”的意思,所以take away就是“带走、拿走”的意思了。
