我的家乡
my home town is a beautiful place. it stands beside a wide
river and is rich in fish and rice.
我的家乡是一个美丽的地方。它坐落在一条宽阔的河流旁边，盛产
鱼和米饭。 but in the old days it was a poor and backward little town. many people had no work. they lived a hard life.
但是以前它是一个贫穷落后的小城镇。很多人都没有工作。他们过
得很艰辛。 in 1949 my hometown was liberated. since then
great changes have taken place there. the streets have been widened. factories, schools, hospitals, cinemas and theatres have sprung up one after another. the life of the people is greatly improved.

yichun, a beautiful city where i have lived almost twenty years. it lies in the west of jiangxi near the hunan province. next, i will introduce the detail information about my hometown.
we can preliminary get know of yichun from its chinese meaning, it means the weather is spring all the year round and also the scenery is as beautiful as spring. besides, if you have came to yichun ,you will be moved by its beautiful scenery. the famous scenic spot is mingyue mountain, it is 1735.6 meters above sea level. when you climb to the mountain top, you can see almost the entirely city of yichun,it’s very beautiful, what’s more exciting,you can go down form the peak to the foot of the mountain by cable. yichun is also know for hot spring bath,if you want take a good relax in winter, taking a hot spring bath is the best choice. my hometown hot spring isn’t like the ordinary hot spring in others area, because the hot spring in my hometown is highly lade with selenium. the selenium can protect you from cancer, drinking or taking a bath with the hot spring water is benefit for your health. in our local farmer, they plant vegetable and fruit with the spring water that is rich in selenium, so our body can take in selenium from vegetable and fruit.
although yichun is a small city and the economic developing not like the big city, i still thinking yichun is my favorite city in my eyes, the people, the culture and the scenery what all my love.
