湖南工学院英语专业“专升本”《综合英语》考试大纲一.考试目标

英语专业专升本考试旨在检查已学完专科英语专业课程的学生是否达到了教学大纲所规定的各项英语技能要求,考核学生综合运用各项基本技能的能力以及学生对语法结构和词语用法的掌握程度。

二.考试范围

主要涵盖高校英语专业专科教学大纲所规定的全部内容,并参照本科《高校英语专业教学大纲》对英语专业四级考试的要求内容。重点考核学生的英语语言基础知识及其应用能力,考试不追求偏题怪题,以基础知识为出题的核心内容。本考试采用客观试题与主观试题相结合、单项技能测试与综合技能测试相结合的形式,主要考查词汇和语法知识以及阅读、翻译、写作等语言技能。

三.考试大纲

第一部分听力理解:

客观题,占试卷总分20%。听力理解测试考生理解句子、对话、英语新闻的能力。听力内容为语速120词/分钟的句子、对话和英语新闻材料,考试时间为20分钟,录音只播放一遍。第二部分词汇和语法(vocabulary and grammar)

多项选择题,占试卷总分10%。每题由1至2个句子组成,其中留有一处空白,题后附有4个选项供选择。要求答案符合句子的意思或结构形式。

第三部分阅读理解 (Reading Comprehension)

阅读理解部分占试卷总分20%。要求学生掌握基本阅读技能,掌握所读材料的主旨和大意,了解说明主旨和大意的事实和细节,能辨别作者的观点态度,根据有关信息进行判断推理。本部分是通过多项选择题来考察学生的阅读理解程度。阅读理解要求学生在阅读完短文之后,从选项中找出正确的答案。阅读理解的题目涉及:A、词和短语的意思;B、单句所表达的意义;C、文章的主题思想和大意;D、句子和文章的内在含义及推理;E、文章作者的态度等。本部分题由三篇300-400词一般性题材的文字材料组成,总词量为1200-1500

词,生词量不超过2%,每篇材料后由五个问题。短文均选自教材以外的文章,难度相当于教材后半部分的课文。

第四部分完形填空(Cloze)

完形填空占试卷总分20%,时测试语言知识的有效手段。本题考察的重点为语法,如动词的时态、语态、虚拟语气,非谓语动词,名词的数,代词,形容词和副词的级,连词,介词及句法等,但也可考一些常用词和惯用语的用法。试题为一篇150-200词长度的文章。其中留有20个空格,要求学生能从短文后面所附的选项中选出最佳答案填入空格中,使填补后的短文意思通顺,前后连贯,结构完整。

第五部分翻译 (translation)

本部分占试卷总分10%,重点考察学生在新的语境对语法和词的用法的简单运用能力。

A 单句翻译:要求学生能运用所学的词汇与语法规则,将5个一般性英语单句或复句译成汉语,和5个一般性汉语单句或复句译成英语。译文基本符合英语习惯,无重大语法错误,单词拼写正确。要求忠实原文,语句通顺,没有错别字。

B 段落翻译:本部分用于测试学生运用语言的能力,要求学生将一篇80字左右的英文段落译成汉语。要求忠实原文,语句通畅,拼写正确,无严重语法错误。

第六部分写作 (writing)

写作占试卷总分20%,包括应用文及命题作文写作。要求学生能运用所学到的语言知识,写出200字的段落。此题重点考察学生对所学语言知识的综合运用能力。要求内容切题完整、书写格式规范,语言基本得体,拼写正确,无严重语法错误。

Engineering students are supposed to be examples of practicality and rationality, but when it comes to my college education I am an idealist and a fool. In high school I wanted to be an electrical engineer and, of course, any sensible student with my aims would have chosen a college with a large engineering department, famous reputation and lots of good labs and research equipment. 如何学习综合英语(二) 综合英语二在自学考试英语专业中是一门具有相当难度的课程,不少考生都是在考了两到三次后才勉强通过,能以较高分数通过的同学为数不多。出现这种情况大致有两个原因:一是综合英语二课本的难度比综合英语一有较大幅度的增加。无论从课文长度、句子难度、生词量以及练习题的数量来说都是综合英语一无法比及的。二是综合英语二试卷的更倾向于考察考生的英语知识运用能力而非记忆能力,因此不少不讲方法,死记硬背综合英语二课本的同学面对试题往往会有一种不知所措的感 觉。 其实,综合英语二并不是高不可攀的崇山峻岭,对于有综合英语一基础的同学,如果能够在日常学习中掌握正确的方法,清楚课本以及考查的重点,在4-5个月内攻下这门课还是很有把握的。 那么怎样能够在尽量短的时间内
