高职学生的高考分数在各层次学历教育中属于较低水平,这其中包括英语成绩,除了个例,英语成绩不理想已成为一种普遍现象。在英语教学中,总有一部分学生对英语缺乏兴趣,这是高职英语教学一个普遍性的问题。许多学生为了完成学分,“被迫”学习英语,部分人甚至有厌学情绪,将英语当作苦差事去完成,带着消极情绪来上课,即使他们明白这门课的重要性,也缺少了学习的驱动力,造成学习效果低下。因此,高职英语教师需要进一步转变固有

的教学理念,改进教学方法,使课堂教学更符合学生的认知和习得规律。本文记录了作者将翻转课堂理念和信息化手段引入高职英语课堂的一次尝试。

一、单元教学设计

我们选用了《新视野英语教程》。其中,追求梦想这一单元的学习分为三次课:初步印象、细细品味、为我所用。我在此要为大家展示的是“细细品味”这节课,即对课文进行赏析的教学设计。本课的教学对象是我院一年级第一学期艺术设计系的学生。从知识能力的角度来看,他们经过高中阶段的英语学习,具备一定的英语基础知识,但是他们的英语阅读和口语能力偏弱。教学内容是课文“琴匣人生”(主要讲述作者追求提琴梦的过程和感悟)。本课的教学重点是分析提取阅读材料中每一自然段的关键词并准确找出段落主题,教学难点是模仿文中

的句式(如my aim is to…,…as an occupation等)来表达自己的理想。学习要达成的目标有以下三个方面:知识目标是识记阅读材料中的重要词汇、短语、结构,如occupation, seek,salary, provide for, insist upon,my aim is to…等。能力目标是能准确把握课文的主旨;能模

仿文中的句式(如my aim is to…,…as an occupation等)来表达自己的理想。而素质目标则是培养自主学习的意识;增强用英语表达的信心。在教学方法的选择上,我们坚持实践翻转课堂理念。根据授课内容,整合运用任务驱动法、讨论法、翻译教学法和讲授法。信息化手段的利用有助于提升学习效果。在本课的学习中,除了常规的多媒体设备,我们还使用了网络学习平台如课堂派、在线词典“爱词霸”、小飞侠随机抽取器以及QQ、微信等及时通讯工具。

二、单元教学实施

教学过程包括课前准备、课上实施和课后拓展三个部分。首先是课前准备。全班分成5个英语学习小组,老师为每个组分配课文中几个段落的集体学习。同学们借助学习平台上老师上传的学习资源,共同讨论课文的段落大意,发表自己的读后感。为了更好地掌握小组学习的情况,我要求他们在QQ讨论组或微信群里进行互动,老师也是其中的成员。不仅如此,我还要求他们制作PPT,对每个段落的理解进行总结,并推选代表准备上课时陈述他们的理解。作为设计系的学生,制作英文课件,一方面强化了他们的英语能力,另一方面则展示出他们的设计专长。

英语阅读课教案

教学内容: 单词 interesting, 句型: It’s interesting to…,以一片枫叶在四个季节的不同颜色展开故事教学。 教案一 目标:以四季为主线,操练句型:It is interesting to… 1. 以春天为话题,引入新句型。 T: Now it is spring. It’s so nice. What can you do S1: I can fly the kite. 引导学生运用句型“It is interesting to …”造句,描述春天可以做的事情。 T: Look, here is a little poem for you. 学生读老师创编的小诗。 2.以夏天和秋天为话题,继续操练该句型。 改进之处:在以上教学过程中,丝毫不见阅读课的影子,原因在于教案的设计。阅读课的重点在于读,而教案设计却没有阅读故事课文的环节。 教案二 目标:读懂并理解文章内容。 1.看动画,回答两个简单问题。] (1) Who is he (2) Where is he from (学生观看有声有色的动画短片后,很容易回答了以上两个问题。) 2.学生自主阅读,并根据季节和天气特点的联系完成词与词之间的连线。 What’s the weather like in Canada spring cool summer snowy autumn hot winter rainy (本练习旨在考察学生对文章的整体理解情况,逐步培养学生搜索信息的能力。) 3.集体模仿,跟读录音。 尤其是以下的长难句,要特别注意培养学生的语音、语调和语感。 (1) It is hand to plant flowers in the rain. (2) Is that why we can call autumn “fall” (3) It is so nice to watch the flowers grow. 4.小游戏:猜一猜 设计“猜一猜“的游戏活动,针对教学重点和难点,借助游戏的形式,使操练充满挑战性和趣味性。 5.朗读竞赛:选择你最喜欢的季节所在的段落,并大声朗读这个段落。 (学生喜欢的朗读方式,他们对于自己的表现总是充满期待,并且希望能得到展示自我的机会。)

大家都来试试原著阅读教学 李俊和 完整版李俊和专栏文章,欢迎下载并使用“百度文库”app 免广告烦恼,阅读全文免费又顺畅 最近我到北京八中,听了汪艳老师一节原著阅读课,感到很受启发。她的学生高中两年,平均能读英美出版的原文小说十几本,最多的读了三十本,都是从网上邮购的。平时以泛读为主,每周有一课时讲一讲,讨论讨论。她的有了大量阅读经历的学生,对付一般的阅读理解测试题,轻而易举。此外,说出的英语,流畅地道,写出的英语,也文从字顺。无独有偶,北京四中初中部的老师,也在让学生读难度合适的原版小说。仔细想一下,这种原著阅读课,好处还真多。 1、更多地接触了英语。英语学习有什么诀窍?最重要的是接触越多学的越好。而阅读是中国人学习英语的最好方式,因为我们缺少听说英语的环境。不少老师现在还是以字词句为核心,记单词、背句型、抠语法、做练习、老师讲、学生练,死记硬背和题海战术。教师应该转变观念,把使用英语放在第一位,让学生沉浸在英语的大海中。 2、适合大班教学的特点。很多人似乎不知道,一个班五六十人,甚至七八十人,在直辖市之外的地区很普遍。大班教学如何进行,是现实紧迫的课题。人数众多,开展分组讨论,口语练习等活动就很难操作。让个别人说了,大部分人则没机会。而让大家共同读小说,人手一本,则人人有了同等使用英语的机会。教师好管理,全班都受益。 这种教学方法也满足了不同层次的个性化需求。好的老师应该是能领着差生慢慢行走,也能让尖子生飞跑起来。小说阅读可以有硬性的规定,如精读的篇目,泛读的页数等,但好学生并没被捆死。他们的自由度很大。 3、成功地克服了现行教材的不足。会用教材的老师都是以我为主,创造性地使用教材,而不是照本宣科,墨守成规。现在的教材,由于各种限制,版式设计越来越花哨,但文章比重太小,一个模块14页,文章只占两三页,阅读量太少。只靠教材提高阅读能力,远远不够。而读原版小说,就可以使学生成十倍
