Unit5 If you go to the party, you’ll have

a good time

第一课时:Section A 1a-1c

设计思路:

根据课程标准对于初中英语学习的要求,改变过于重视语法和词汇知识的传授,强调课程从学生兴趣、生活经验和认知水平出发,倡导体验、实践、参与、合作与交流的学习方式和任务型的教学途径,发展学生综合运用语言的能力。

教材分析:

本单元是以“参加聚会”为话题,开展教学活动。通过谈论某个推断,学习if 以引导的条件状语从句。通过丰富多彩的语言实践,既掌握了flower, against, chance, tonight等词的用法,又在语言情景中对if 状语从句主句用将来时,从句用一般现在时进行了充分的操练。与此同时,我们还要学习许多新词如jeans, organize, agent, lawyer 等。引导学生用If引导的条件状语从句来谈论事件之间的因果关系,并分析得出处理决定,或给出解决的意见。从而培养听力,口语交际及逻辑判断的能力。进一步了解有关国内外一些特殊职业情况,培养协调能力和合作精神,体会学习英语的乐趣,树立远大的目标,并为之不懈地努力。

学生分析:

学生在初中英语学习阶段,充满想象力,引导学生学会使用if条件句,让学生充分发挥想象力,用if条件句表达出学生对于在假定的情况下,对将会发生的

事情发挥想象。

教材分析:

新课标提出:英语课程的学习,既是学生通过英语学习和实践活动,逐步掌握英语知识和技能,提高语言实际能力的过程,又是他们陶冶情操、拓展视野、丰富社会经历、开发思维能力和提高人文素养的过程。本课所有的语言知识和技巧都围绕“party”这个中心话题设计的。因此把本课的教学目标定为:

1.语言知识和技能目标:

(1.)Talk about consequence.

(2.)Learn to make decision.

2、语言知识目标

●If you go to the party, you will have a great time.

●If you do, you will be late.

●What will happen if they have the party tomorrow.

●If I don’t clean my room, my mother won’t let me meet my friends.

●I am going to the school party.

●You should wear your cool pants.

3、情感态度目标

a. 由于本单元话题贴近学生生活,符合他们热爱休闲的心理,可以提高他们

学习英语的兴趣,积极参与英语实践活动。

b. 学习因果关系的表达和做出合理的建议。

c. 谈论自己的感受,同时使学生在英语交流中注意并观察他人的情感。

4、学习策略目标

a. 通过小组讨论,开展调查等研究,明确在用中学,交流中学习的想法。

b. 通过猜测,并大胆的表达,以学习新知识。

c. 兴趣教学策略,其中包括游戏、表演、对话和歌曲。

5、文化意识目标

a. 培养听力,口语交际及逻辑判断的能力。

b. 用恰当的方式表达自己的感受。

c. 在学习中寻找中西方度假差异,培养学生跨文化意识。

II. 学习if 引导的条件状语从句,主将从现.

教学策略:

(1)教法:以“任务型”教法作为课堂设计理念。采用交际教学法。是学生通过小组讨论、听说以及玩游戏等有趣的形式来学习和掌握语言。

(2)学法:学生自主参与学习、交流合作。

教学准备:

(1)运用多媒体辅助教学,将整节课的活动流程做成PPT进行展示,清晰有趣,从感官上激发学生兴趣。

(2)老师按照座位将学生分为四大组,每个小组18个人。课堂以小组竞赛的方式进行,在课堂上回答问题正确或者表现积极的小组将会获得奖励。

教学过程:

Step1:Lead-in (2 minutes)

预计学生会给出答案。

The teacher asks another question:

——Who has a birthday today?

预计会有学生举手,接着问学生想要怎么过生日,想不想举办party?

T:If you have a party, Will you invite classmates to your party?

设计说明:以学生过生日导入,以此来提高学生对本课话题的兴趣,让学生对本课即将要讲的内容充满好奇。

Step2: Activity (8 minutes)

1.引导学生看一段影片,并且让学生跟着影片唱歌和跳舞,充分调动学生积极性。

T :Let ’s see a movie . Please sing and dance after them. 三分钟后,问学生关于影片中出现的if 从句。 T : What will I do if I ’m happy?

预计学生将会根据影片给出一致答案,给与掌声。 2.接下来是pairwork ,充分锻炼学生口头表达能力。

Step3:Guessing game (10minutes )

T :Are you tired? Do you want to play a game?

给学生一些图片,让学生猜测如果他们开心的话他们会做些什么呢?

设计说明:以游戏的方式,让学生猜测幻灯片上的人物开心的时候将会做得事情。这样既能够充分发挥学生想象能力,也能够让学生充分掌握if 条件状语从句的句式和用法。

教师在幻灯片上举出例子,引导学生按照if条件句接龙。

设计说明:学生在游戏过程中,能够充分灵活的变化if条件句句式,并且能够充分发挥联想能力。

Step6:Summary(1minute)

以歌曲作为summary。其中包括本节课的语言点,并且能够加深学生对本堂课的印象。

设计说明:作业虽然简单,但充满目的性。整节课堂围绕“Party”展开,在课堂结束后,让学生写一篇关于能够为同学生日聚会做些什么的作文,既能够巩固课堂所学到的知识,也能够锻炼学生的写作能力。
