Chinese Spring Festival and Christmas Day
It’s known to all that the Spring festival and Christmas are the two biggest traditional festival respectively for we Chinese and the Western and American countries. These two festivals are all the beginning of the new year for these countries. They are the festivals that all the family members get together to celebrate, people drink and have a great feast to enjoy the beautiful moment with their family and friends.
What makes the two different are as follows.
The Spring Festival is only for we Chinese, which means no other country celebrate it like us. We enjoy the fireworks and eat traditional food like dumplings which means good luck and health on the New Year Eve. However, the Christmas is celebrated by many countries like America, Canada, the Great Britain, India etc. They often have apples and chocolates which means good luck and best wishes for the new year.
Although the two festivals celebrated differently, their importance in our heart is far more than any other festivals.
