作为英语学习者,我们的target language(目标语言)是什么?是英语。
既然是学英语,为什么要一直依赖中文翻译来学英语呢?太过依赖中文字幕翻译来学英语,结果呢?其结果可能就是学了这么多年,还是听不懂说不出。
所以这就是为什么很多人学了这么多年英语,能用英语去交流的人可谓凤毛麟角;这就是为什么你背了那么多英语单词句子,真正开口交流的时候,要么是思路跟不上,要么就是根本想不起来用哪个英语单词句型表达。
为什么呢?我是学计算机科学技术,根据电脑对数据的分析储存原理,一个信息储存在数据库里,它是有很多维度去记录这个信息的。
可是,我们很多同学学英文,不论是单词句子对话,你都是通过用中文信号,储存在你的脑海里的,第一只有一个中文翻译维度,第二中文信号和英文信号完全就是两回事,它没有转化成为有效的英语信号。
这样大脑就很难完成对这个单词的信息的分析归类储存,当你讲英语的时候,要么大脑里几乎都是中文信号,要么大脑数据库里对这个单词的数据块维度太少,根本获取不了数据信号,或者速度很慢。
所以这就是我们很多同学学习英语的现状。
我一直在思考为什么我们会这么学英语呢?以我为例,我接受的是传统的义务教育,从初中才开始学英语。

其实真正可怕的是逼得自己开不了口说英语,追求完美的心态不应该用在这个地方,这只能叫“脸皮薄,好面子”。
4.胡口说英语,没容错的顿悟错误范例:"noproblem,bagonmybody(没问题,黏在我身上)"or"nozuonodiewhyyoutry(为什么你TNUMBERV12V4“并作死去”)"上一条是让你不要畏惧说错英语,但也不能过了头,知道自己是错的还不改正,一错再错,这就是态度问题了。
没有给自己纠错、找茬的正确态度,永远说不了正确的英语.5.学词汇只崇尚量不崇尚质错误范例:“supererogate,填补;habiliments,服装;honorificabilitudinitatibus,不败荣幸……”许多人要增加词汇量就是捧着本单词手册不停地背。
全民学英语的时代应该结束了图片来自网络问:学外语是为了能读懂外文,虽然有了翻译软件,但是翻译软件翻译不出外语背后的文化,要想读外国名著,就得学好外语,况且很多外文资料都没有翻译,机器翻译很不成熟,学外语是必须的。
答:之前有公知不是在网上鼓吹,中国人人均读书量全球最低吗?中文书籍都来不及读,还哪有功夫读外国名著?学英语占用了大量的时间,从小学三年级学起,一直到大学毕业大约有14年之久,就为了读几本外国名著太不值得,脑子进水了才会这样做。
不如把学英语的是时间节约下来,用来读书,这样中国人的人均阅读量绝对翻翻。

他们的作品,有很多欧化的句式和修辞,正是学习外语加强了他们中文表达的丰富性和生动性。
答:他们的确是擅长外语,但是早年鲁迅翻译的作品,只买了20多本,基本没人看。
《呐喊》刚出版时候,也就只印了2000本,还没有《三国演义》卖得好。
这说明他得语言确实不行,太过拗口,群众接受不了么,这可不能怪读者理解力差。
有人说,商演的成功与否,能检验相声表演者水平的高低,同样,书卖的多少也能检验作者水平的高低。
他们文章中多少有点丰富性和生动性的语言,也绝非是和外国学的,那是根植于传统文言文的原因,欧化语言是拉低分,扯后腿的。
没有欧化语言,鲁迅的书会卖的更好。
问:这么说的话,我们都别学外语了,也不要和外国人交流沟通了。
答:和外国人沟通交流的方式有很多种,没必要死守着学外语这条路。
我们全民学外语,成本巨大,难道就为了和老外说句话?太亏了。
英语逐步成了一个必备技能,不单单是为测验。
可是常常在孩子英语的启蒙阶段有一些误区。

3、不要每个词都翻译在给孩子英语启蒙时,万万别每个单词都去查出原意,若是我们还没等读完整个句子,就和孩子去翻字典,孩子会感觉这种方式很没意思,而且会深感全数过程只是为了学习,感应不到阅读的快乐。
4、不要默读孩子阅读的时候,必定要“读出声”。
可以听和熟悉自己的声音,锤炼自己的英文表达能力,成立一种语感。
5、不要盲目跟风此刻有很多精良的资源可以辅助我们学习英语,可是这些也为家长们带来了一些困扰。

崇拜英語是學好英語的天敵. 崇拜英語是學好英語的天敵 中國人學英語已經有百年歷史了,久學不會而生畏,久畏不會而生敬,久敬不會而覺遠,敬而遠之便覺神。因此英語在今天的很多中國人眼裡,已不是一般的普通語言,而是被神化了的神聖語言,似乎要想學會這種神秘而神聖的語言,只有神仙才能做到。要是有哪位普通的中國老百姓能把英語流利地說出口,大家便立刻覺得他一定是神人,他一定有什麼過人之處,不然的話,他怎麼能憑白無故地會說英語呢。更有一件好笑的事,讓我笑不出來,有一次我和幾位中國的高學歷朋友到美國去,坐在汽車裡遇到了紅燈,大家便坐在車裡等紅燈,這時突然有一位美國的黑人乞丐從窗口伸進手來,大聲嚷嚷著:"Help, Help, Help me please!",一見國際友人這樣求救,咱初來乍到的中國人民也不含糊,當下每人掏出幾個美元給了這位幸運的乞丐,這乞丐連忙問:"Where are you from?",答曰:"China",乞丐連聲說:"China, Great! Thank you very much, God bless all of you"。令我感到好笑的倒不是以上情節,而是車開起來之後我們車內的一位研究生同胞作思考狀地沉默不語,問他正在想什麼時,他的回答令大家哄堂大笑,他說:"我正在納悶,乞丐怎麼也會講英語!" 乞丐憑什麼就不能講英語呢?難道乞丐生下來就必須是啞巴?這位老兄很顯然是被國內幾十年的英語教學神化了,覺得英語就不應該是老百姓隨隨便便講出來的語言,更不該是乞丐講出來的語言。 其實呢,英語真的是一種十分普通的語言,而且是一種十分簡單的語言。語言的發展中有一個現象,叫做"大眾約簡現象"(這是本人提出來的),意思是說,越是被大多數人使用的語言,就越有簡單化的趨勢,即"越從眾就越從簡",而且這種簡化不是哪個政府哪個人規定出來的,而是眾人自發的,就像事先約定好了一樣一起推動著語言的簡化。因此一種語言的簡化程度和它的使用人數成正比。西方語言裡英語是最國際化的語言,使用人數最多,因此英語在西方語言裡最簡單。漢語的普通話是使用人數最多的漢語,因此普通話在漢語裡也最簡單。比普通話還簡單的漢語有沒有?有,是東北話,因此近幾年來漢語的普通話向東北話不講道理地大大靠近,攔都攔不住,中國人長久不衰地喜愛東北小品,並把大量的東北話詞語不知不覺而且不約而同地塞進漢語普通話,這就是語言的大眾約簡現象。現在全世界使用人數最多的語言是什麼,是網絡語言,這種語言尚未成型,但大家已可以感覺到網絡語言令人瞠目結舌的簡化勇氣,把 you簡化成一個u,把Oh, my God簡化成omg,這種簡化力度真叫"簡化你沒商量"。 帶著"越從眾就越簡化"的心態去看待英語,你會恍然大悟地發現英語一點都不像你想得那麼神聖莊嚴,你會恍然大悟地發現美國英語就是比英國英語簡單,而美國現代英語就是比二戰之前的美國英語還簡單,而計算機網絡問世後的美國英語又比網絡問世之前的美國英語更簡單,你會發現目前就連美國總統的正式演說使用的不過就是中國高中同學所學的單詞,你會發現在網絡上幾乎找不到複雜的英語。全球化給英語帶來了前所未有的普及,也給英語帶來了前所未有的簡化。 帶著"越從眾就越簡化"的心態去看英語,你不僅會感覺到英語的簡單和樸實,甚至還可以理直氣壯地挑出英語的很多毛病,指著英語的鼻子對他說:"你們英語是怎麼回事,連這點小毛病都改不了"。 就比如說英語語法裡"不厭其煩地囉唆"這個毛病吧,至今也沒改過來。英語用詞有一個大毛病,就是"不厭其煩地囉唆"。比如說動詞的過去式,一個故事發生在過去了,這個故事裡的所有動詞就都得換成過去式,一個都不能漏掉,這多囉唆啊,哪象咱漢語,只要故事的開頭有個"昨天"或"去年",故事裡面的所有動詞就全部都自動地改成過去式了,這多簡單啊。估計當初發明英語的那個人事先沒來過中國看看咱漢語什麼樣,要是借鑒一點漢語的知識再回去發明英語,英語就不會落下這毛病了。 再比如說一般時態裡第三人稱單數做主語時動詞要加s的問題吧,何苦多此一舉呢,搞得咱中國人一說英語動詞時就老得想著有個s加不加,緊張兮兮的,還落得英語裡搞"人稱歧視"的印象,看人家是第三人稱單數,勢單力薄的,就欺負人家,非讓人家多加個s不可,這不明顯是激化人稱矛盾嗎。其實加不加這個s對英語來說沒有一點意義,完全是一種沒有簡化乾淨而剩下的囉唆。美國某些地區的黑人同胞們就做得比較好,他們乾脆把一般時態裡所有動詞的後面都加上s,或都取消s,一視同仁,以用此方法提醒讀者此刻是一般時態,這多好,既使s派上了用場,又避免了人稱歧視之類的矛盾。 英語不僅在語法上有些問題,在發音體繫上也有不少問題有待改進,比如說各種各樣的詞尾變化的特殊情況吧,都是為了平衡和處理各種各樣的發音矛盾。比如說the用在元音開頭的名詞前面時字母e要改發成[i:],就為了使它的發音像輔音,以和後面的元音區分開,可如果後面的元音恰恰也是e怎麼辦,比如說the evening,不正好兩個e連在一起混了嗎?混了就混了吧,反正兩個e連在一起混了,總比一個e和一個a或o混在一起要好區分得多,就這麼定了,愛誰誰!(趙本山語) 英語在單詞的拼寫上也有不少毛病,主要問題就是有些不發音的字母存在在單詞裡,佔著指標不幹活,背單詞時還必須帶上它們,豈不是累贅.比如beautiful裡e和a兩個字母就不發音,為何不取消改成butiful?could裡o和l兩個字母也不發音,為何不取消改成cud?做為拼音文字,其主要特徵就是看字母讀音,因此這些不發音的字母的存在應該不算小毛病。就連英國人自己都覺得這個毛病不算小,應該改改了,為此他們成裡了"英語單詞拼寫簡化委員會",列出了一大片應該簡化的單詞和簡化後的方案,要是你看到了他們列出的這個方案,你保證會有暫時不學英語而等他們簡化完了再說的念頭(不過大家還是別等,那僅是呼籲,真正簡化要有事件和時機才行,這得猴年馬月了)。 我列出以上英語的毛病並不是為了打擊英語,而是要告訴大家從過去那種莊嚴而沉重的英語學習裡走出來,不要帶著盲目的"神聖"態度去看待英語,更不要崇拜英語,你越是把英語看成是"神",你的英語就越難學,而你越是帶著平常的心態去看待英語,你就越能發現英語的"平民性",你就越能感覺到英語這座壓在頭上的大山其實就是你身邊的老百姓們不經意隨口就可以說出的東西,連乞丐說出來都不奇怪。這樣帶著平常心去看待英語之後,你就會發現英語近在咫尺,甚至還能發現它的缺點和不足,甚至還能提出改進意見,那你就離輕鬆掌握和駕馭英語不遠了。 輕鬆地看待英語吧,成為它的主人。而不要神聖而僵化地看待英語,成為被它永遠嚇壞的失敗者
如果说中国教育是一个劣质工程,那么英语教育就是中国有史以来一个最大、最无用、最令人无语的豆腐渣工程.这个豆腐渣工程残害了一代又一代的年轻人,白白浪费了大量的时间、精力和金钱,制造了太多太多的痛苦迷茫,却换来太少太少的教育成果。
不是吗?大家估计都是从初中,甚至小学开始学习英语的吧?学英语的时间至少占了各位学习时间的三分之一吧?而且至少学了十几年吧,搞完高考,还要过四级才给你学位证吧?投入精力不可谓不大,努力程度不可谓不够,付出的成本不可谓不高昂,结果呢?至少99%的同学们一过四级就再也不碰英语了,再过两年就忘光了,现在看美剧和好莱坞大片还是一样看字幕,真碰到一个外教或老外,一样是憋半天说不出几句象样的话.这就是可悲的现实。
所以,我敢断言,现在每年800万的大学毕业生(非英语专业的),别看他们过了四级六级,真能轻松听懂美剧、英剧、好莱坞电影或阅读英文小说的,绝不超过10%,真能使用英语深入交流和工作的,估计不超过1%(我严重怀疑这1%是天赋异禀或家学渊源,而不是教育出来的)。
—-打个比方,如果在一家巨型工厂里,别的生产线上面生产出来的产品,尽管质量不太好,但产品还能使用,唯有那么一条特殊的生产线,不管投入什么优质的原材料、不管投入什么聪明人儿,出来的几乎一律都是废品,你说这条生产线有什么价值?就是为了考试而考试?从这个意义上讲,把英语赶出高考,甚至赶出小学、中学、大学的教育,都是应该的,因为它既不象数理化一样,算是思维体操,可以锻炼一下智能;也不象语文地理一样,算是文化传承,可以增加一些生活知识。
英语这玩艺,没学好就是一点儿用处都没有,对于绝大部分人来说,交流又不能交流,翻译又不能翻译,看美剧还靠字幕,而且一转眼就忘光光了,你说有什么意义?对于少数有天赋有兴趣的人,也不妨碍他去认真学好英语,将来物以稀为贵,少数英语人才反而更有价值,你说有什么不好?然而,英语确实又太重要了,它是实际上的“世界语”——全世界最前沿的科技论文,都是英语发表;全世界的飞机航班的机长和远洋轮船的船长,都用英语交流;全世界的商业、政治和网络协议,都用英语写就;全世界最重要的会议和交流论坛,英语是最基础的交流工具,所以中央的决策者和高等学府,又绝对不敢轻易放弃英语.-—所以这次高考改革,虽然英语将不再是统考科目,但却依然是最重要的选考科目,依然是高等院校重要的录取依据。
