2010.05.08托福写作机经
整场考试，阅读部分从话题来看，还是比较常规的，词汇题是考生比较熟悉的，部分有些难。今天的加试阅读题目有了很大变化，原先的词汇题变味了推断题，让考生有点胸闷。看来，还是实力最重要。听力部分，仍然比较难，主要就是对于话题不熟悉以及一味寄托于机经，遇到新题心理落差太大，影响了发挥。口语部分和写作部分没又太难的内容，尤其是独立写作，考得话题已经是多次出现在以往考试中。

Writing Part:
综合写作：
food irradiation是够可以作为mandatory food process measure推广使用展开argument 短文支持一可以杀灭大多数的细菌霉菌病毒（virus bacteria and mold）对人的身体很健康
反驳剩余的细菌属于超级病原体（因为抗体比较强难杀灭）对人的身体危害更大
短文支持二可以延缓蔬果成熟的时间保存更长久
反驳消费者估不准究竟什么时候回熟有些东西不能生食不敢购买
短文支持三虽然会削减营养成分但是和其他食品加工造成的效应差不多
反驳 irradiation本身确实没有削减太多营养但是在之后保存的过程中营养
流失的速度飞快

本次新托福考试是今年托福第二次考到09年北美的机经，在今年的4月10日的新托福考试中，重复了09年北美3月13日的考试内容。而今天再一次考到了北美09年的托福考试内容，只不过来了一次拼盘，听力是09年1月17日的，口语，阅读，独立写作考到了09年1月10日的内容，而综合写作，考试的话题和今年3月6日的托福考试大陆区如出一辙，只不过被内容并不相同.
本次考试难度评分：★★★
Writing Part:
综合写作：
综合写作是关于Mayan region collapse
阅读部分说了三个theory，第一个是warfare，第二个是farmland shortage，第三个是terrible drought。
lecture说，warfare 没有发生过没有它可place
第二个理论也不成立，因为maya People很有knowledge，很creative，可以开发新土地，好像还说有个lake，可以提供水资源。
第三个理论是primary reason~~理由貌似是南北受灾不同
2010.03.06 / 2008.03.01 NA 考得话题一致，但是内容是有出入的，贴出来大家看一下。
1、Mayan 文化 collapse的原因：
1 dry period
2 cities were abandoned
3 drought
反驳
1. dry period 普遍存在。。
2 事实不是cities were abandoned，而是take away the people who can read and write
3 他们有很好的water system，所以干旱不是问题

2010.05.22托福写作机经
5月22日IBT重复了2008年北美5月9日的内容。阅读有些难度，尤其是第三篇讲生物学有关动物调节体温的文章，读了之后有一些混乱。本次的阅读词汇题比较多，听力部分出现了4-5道双选题和表格题，比较头疼，但是难度上总体来说却还是可以理解的。口语部分，培训班提供的预测机经太不准，大家们切忌，考试时还是以自己听到的为准，要相信自己的能力。写作方面，今天的独立写作话题比较贴近现实。可以有话可说，而综合写作和考古学有关。

Topic: Entrusct 的祖先是土耳其人吗？
第一组：阅读证据：H这个人的writing上写的是Entrusct 的祖先是土耳其人听力反驳：H上有很多story，比如从前有一个很大的worm 大到能吃人，这个看起来不可能发生，所
以H这个人的writing上写的是Entrusct 的祖先是土耳其人也可能是一个story，不可信第二组：阅读证据：Entrusct 说的语言在Turkey旁边一个小岛上发现的T 手稿（inscription）上有相同的语言
听力反驳：Entrusct很擅长航海（Entrusct是seafrare...），可能事实正好相反，即小岛上发现的T 手稿（inscription）是Entrusct带过去的
第三组：阅读证据：Entrusct居住的地方有一种特殊的cow，这个cow在Turky也有听力反驳：这个cow可能是Entrusct从Turky import来的，因为Entrusct是很好的trader 独立写作：

2010.04.10托福写作机经
1.综合写作：说地球上有个oval-shaped的depression认为是10,000年前的meteorite impact 造成的。1.那个crater不是圆的，是oval shap，因为meteorite impact是从一个角度下来的，所以是这个形状说明meteorite 从一个oblique angle撞击地面形成的
2.在depression周围找到tekitte那里有类似叫glass的一个t打头的物质，是由于heat from the impact transforms the grains of sand into glass.
3.在depression里面有meteorite fragments 被发现
反驳：说1.meteorite都是staight down的，不可能形成那么oblique的角度，应该是wind erosion造成的oval shape 2.tekitte可以distribute a wide range,所以是来自别的地方的meteorite impact 3.carbon dating technique发现fragments的年龄比impact的时间还older
2.独立作文：就是说只告诉别人他们好的地方，if there isn’t anything nice to tell, not say anything at all.同不同意

综合写作：说的是dog domestication。
阅读：
1.wolf是dog的一种近亲family。
2.狗的domestication involve with breeding for generations。
3.14000年前的grave sites就有狗和人类bury在一起。
lecture:
1.不是，因为wolf一旦old一些，就很aggressive。一种wild dog in the Asia比较不aggressive,可能这种是狗的ancestor。
2.不对，狗的domestication是natural selection，因为原来人类迁移会留下很多free food。那些狗closer to较容易获得食物，然后能够survive，所以是自然进化的。
3.14000年不准确，可能更earlier。另外，人类是直到settled in village才bury。

综合写作是讲要meet the demand of energy 就是讲新能源的问题 nuclear plants 关键词第一段讲现在越来越需要能源以下三段分别说了三个nuclear不好的地方
第一段关键词 unsafe 说是那个reactor heat啊很危险
第二段关键词 expensive 举例子说了oil和coal
第三段 alternation(这次我自己编的啊)意思是有其他的替代能源可以利用举例wind lecture
女教授一开始表明立场不同意完全按照reading material的顺序来反驳条例具清晰反驳：
针对第一段你说unsafe 但是有个新reactor 屏幕出现词三个词组成中间是pxxx bed reactors 说这个很好它可以regulate temperature 说当热量超出regular时会slow work 以保持normal temperature
针对第二段你说expensive 但是我告诉你别的也贵咧说那个oil和coal还贵一些要看哪方面这里面有个关键词跟construction长得很像抱歉我没认出那词也就不记得了
这个看看其他战友的吧
针对第三段你说有wind和其他能源但是你要知道 wind这种东西有个特点就是unprecedented 换句话说not reliable 而且当用wind时你必须找个其他能源来back up 所以还不如用nuclear呢

Task 1:
Reading：一些公司对员工使用internet限制。
其一，对e-mail进行filter，这样就可不distribute公司里面的secret.
其二，streaming media，限制访问一些娱乐网站.但是会花费比较大
其三，干脆完全停掉access to internet, 禁止personal usage of internet,说这样可以提高生产力。
Lecture:一点用都没有。
其一，filter has nothing to do with 那些想用e-mail泄密的人，因为要是有员工真的想泄密的话，他们会倾向于用一些 innocent的词汇，filter根本筛不出来的。
其二，根本不应该花费那么多钱堵死所有的media。事实表明，这种streaming media10%的有用，90%的都没用。professor说应该只对一些大家常见的media sites such po music and videos截流就行了。
其三，实际上允许persoanl usage of internet的公司更加有productivity。因为员工被认为是trustful，他们就会有better moral，才会愿意去work harder and longer，这样的话公司才能increase productivty.
Task 2:
人们认为哪个更加happier? schoolwork or job with challenges and difficults 还是easy work?
实验之余，挖空记忆写出来的，要是还能记起来就再补充吧。累啊~~~
总之觉得ets现在越来越诡异了，后人们加油吧！

Reading: 三种原因导致了cedar的数量减少：beetles, bear, climate change
1是由于insect parasite esp. bark beetles.
2是由于bear's aggressive feeding damage the tree.
3是认为climate change.(root was frozen
听力反驳：
1.只攻击sick tree。health tree show good resistant to beetles。
beetles: 健康的cedar树皮会分泌出一种有毒粘液，防止insects parasite on it. 并认为会发现一些cedar get infested with insects 是因为这些树已经不健康了，甚至已经死了
2.those tree on the islands declined however, there was no bear on that island.
bear: 认为这不能解释大规模的cedar的死亡，因为cedar数量的减少在很多地方都存在。在Irland和Mainland都有，但Irland没有熊
3.tree tends to died in the lower elevation所以cold weather 不能证明会导致tree shrin
climate change: melting. 应该发生在upper and cold area更严重，但事实相反_
说的是北美的一种树，名字忽略，它的数量剧减，然后passage和lecture就来探讨成因。
阅读：
1、第一个假设是虫虫。说这些邪恶的虫子造成了很多树木的死亡。
2、第二个假设是熊熊。说这些邪恶的熊喜欢吃树的某个部位……所以树就被摧残了……
3、第三个假设是天气的变化。所天气变冷了，导致植物的根部比较脆弱敏感，blabla.
讲座：
对阅读无情的BS,和反驳!
总起句是，这种树木剧减的缘由尚不明朗，那些所谓的理由都是不充分的。
1、关于虫虫。其实这种树木剧减的树还是很彪悍的，因为他会分泌一种化学物质杀死虫子,那些被虫子侵蚀的树，都是那些本来就只有半口气的，不被虫子弄死，也会被其他方法弄死的。
2、关于熊熊。这种树木的灭绝，涉及整个北美，不管是内陆还是岛屿，而岛屿上时没有熊熊的，也就是说不管熊熊在与不在都一个样，所以这样责备熊熊真的很不公平。
3、天气。这里列，(那啥，我很不好意思的说我没有听的很全)大概是说，你说天气变冷危害大?哼，我告诉你，其实天气变热危害更大呢，blablabla^
第二点,熊的数量在下降

到底是应该做得快但是可能会有错误，还是应该做得慢一点错误也没有。是efficiecy+mistakes 还是lower efficiecy + correction重要
同意，开头从一般到具体引入题目，分三点论书，首先目前很多公司需要快节奏的员工以提高自身的效益;
其次，快速的工作有助于员工develop quick mind，which accordingly could gain more chance to promote and for the future improvement of a company 最后，有时候因为工作快而可能导致的mistake可以让员工learn something from it and seldomly commit it again.

一是，这种鱼在Mexico湾时已经不吃东西了，它在佛州时都吃完了，在sea floor吃

小作文阅读听力三点一一对应，且都在开头句给出观点，很容易记下笔记。小作文阅读是讲蜘蛛网不同design方式的优点的。
理由：
1、这种网的普遍存在（widespread）证明其valuable adaptation
2、二元结构节省了silk的用料（efficient use of silk）
3、很好地定位猎物（locate captured preys）。
听力中教授对文章中的三个观点一一反驳：
1、有些evolution排除orb web，像black spider就是从orb web进化到cobweb，说明其非ideal形式
2、orb Web 容易破，让食物逃走，而且有的每天都要reproduce一遍，cob是三维的不容易破，即便是破了也逃不出去。
3、蜘蛛呆在网中间，容易被predator发现、捕食，这是一大drawback

大作文是非常常见的社会类话题，难度不高，观点选择注意”older friends” ”friends your same age” 在年龄、阅历、兴趣爱好等方面的差别选择会比较好写。小作文虽然会有一些生词，但是都能在阅读中找到，且因为听力阅读对应清晰，很容易记笔记，很容易写作。

听力部分：一一反驳，顺序一致，非常工整。
1 分权？搞笑啊。集权着呢，分权马上被发现的，再说，那帮官吏的待遇不要太好哦，动机也不太有的嘛。
2 那气候啊，我查资料了，谁说那是Egypt啊，明明是Egypt东部一个小地方的情况。怎么能以偏概全呢，这两个地方的气候完全不一样的啊，差远了。再加上我查了资料，资料记载当时埃及的整个地方有plenty of rain
3 儿子多是多，年纪都不一样的，一个成熟的时候一个可能还在打酱油呢，而且就算争王位，争一下不就完了，到最后有人继承了王朝不就继续了么？（这第三点的反驳我有点犯困，打了下瞌睡一回神就是Now you have ，反驳理由是自己根据梦境想像的，没参考价值）

文章：怀疑A鸟不能飞，飞的能力退化了。1. Bone skeleton too heavy,翅膀太长，扑腾时会撞击地面；2. 太重，68KG，肌肉不足以支持她飞行；3. 不需要飞行:no predator；这么大能飞也逮不到食物。
教授反驳，说他会飞： 1. 鸟可以起跑在起飞，比如从山上向下跑，古代有很多山让他们俯冲。2. 它只需要张开翅膀在空中滑行，老鹰能滑翔好几个小时。3. A是scavenger，吃是死了的动物，飞翔可以让他们更快跟准确的定位。

综合作文：是否该FUNDING艺术
阅读：
**不应再继续资助艺术.
a、艺术不是**obligation,art不是政府职责,公民的娱乐已经超出了政府的管辖范围。而且有很多其他的东西需要政府的支持
b、**会使用censorship来控制艺术,他们可以选择那些支持政府的作品. art funding导致政府歧视观点不同的art
c、艺术不需要**资助，美国art已经很牛了,看看movie这么受欢迎
听力:**要加大资助艺术的力度
不应该给art和artists任何financial support了，原因：
a) 是**的legitimated function,艺术为大众提供recognition、pleasure，是**责任，如national park,1.公民娱乐政府当然有责任。因为艺术与国家公园一样，都是recreation 并且会给人带来快乐。既然没人反对政府支持国家公园，为什么政府就不能支持艺术？
b) 可能会造成censorship上的问题. 有措施防止**干涉艺术自由，如NEA这个独立于**的组织,政府支持不一定就会有censorship~因为有些机构是political-independent的，他们才不关心什么作品里的政治因素，他们就关心作品质量，还专门情普通专家来评判。
c) 有commercial的公司来support.商业艺术不用投入，但是其它就要，电视和movie不是art好的说明，孩子就没钱去搞什么music concern这些需要钱的，就需要政府,如果大众所面对的都是那些商业化后的艺术就完蛋了。艺术当然需要政府支持，有些项目比如children art是很重要的，而且你不能指望这些项目去搞商业化。
1.讲座说美国政府有法定义务来支持arts, 如美国政府每年花2billion来建national park，而有调查85%的美国人赞同政府的做法，因此这些做法不是像reading里面说的政府的这些行为beyond the scope
2.reading说给arts 钱的时候，会有主观偏见，有些艺术可能不会被选上（那个单词什么来着，特意解释了呢），讲座说政府的fund不会被被主观臆断的，有独立的机构来判断quality，还有NEA组织的一群专家来判断fund应该资助哪些艺术。这些都是很独立很可观的
3.reading说美国的娱乐业很有钱了，不用资助了；lecture说娱乐和那些艺术不一样的，
前者有票房收入啥呀，而后者如小孩子的program（好像说这些小孩子不可能构成他们的利润来源），这部分还是需要资助的

09年12月5日托福作文机经
综合作文：
speaker说的3点
首先有个leading的：人类去了那个岛，嘟嘟鸟就灭绝了。这两个之间其实并没有确实的逻辑联系。
1.嘟嘟鸟fightless，defenseless所以人类很容易prey他们，导致他们灭绝。speaker反驳：刚上岛的荷兰人，认为嘟嘟鸟很disgusting...所以才不会去吃。
2.因为人类的到来，嘟嘟鸟的habitat受损所以灭绝了
speaker的反驳：虽然人类为了farming，砍伐森林确实有发生，有历史记载，但是，那是发生在嘟嘟鸟灭绝后的事情了。
3.嘟嘟鸟在岛上生活得很愉快，很多年了，但人类一来，就把环境破坏了，把它们赶上了绝路。
反驳：historical record：早在人类来之前，因为这个岛的自然灾害，嘟嘟鸟已经濒危了。

2009.12.20托福写作机经
综合写作：
reading说Phoenician 早在哥伦布发现美洲大陆之前已经来到过美洲。然后说Poenician是当时唯一和Egypcian有交往的国家，Egyptian和他们通商。
论据有三：
1，在Egyptian木乃伊中发现了nicotine, 而当时egypt并没有能够产出nicotine的tobacco树，而美洲生产这种树。
2，Phoenician的某种coin?还是什么东西上面有美洲大陆的地形图，说明这个地方也在他们的通商范围内。
3，美洲的pyramid和Egypt的pyramid很相似，是通过Phoenician的桥梁，受到了Egypt影响。
教授反驳：
1，分两点，第一点，考古发现在美洲文明以前很早就有含有nicotine的mummy了。第二点，nicotine不仅仅来自于tobacco，还有很多植物含有nicotine。
2，图案太小，不能确定就是美洲地形图，可能只是一种装饰设计。
3，pyramid并不相像。说了两个区别：美国的有steps和flat roof，埃及的是straight smooth sides that endat a point(比较确定是原文)。美国的是用来religious activities, 埃及的只是tomb。这里我确定是tomb.

注定要sb的reading：1：因为发现农业效率更高；2因为气候改变；3因为人口增长。

第一篇，写要不要在小学音乐教育上投资。三个理由是一，浪费时间，效率没有花在阅读或者数学上高，二，浪费钱，有这个钱还不如给那些基本教学资源都不足的学校，三，没用，大多数学生都不会成为音乐家，然后对于那些成为音乐家的学生来说，学校的这点设备也是不够的。听力部分驳斥说，一，研究表明，学习音乐的学生对于数学和阅读的领悟力强过没学过的。二，每个家长不需要给自己的孩子单独买乐器，节约了成本，而且学校的乐器可以用很久，根本不会浪费钱。三，又是研究表明，学过音乐的孩子以后这种对于艺术的感觉不会消失，然后说我们教育不能只盯着现在，要照顾到学生充实而精彩的一生之类的。

As the economy and technology develop at an incredible speed in today’s society, there are an increasing number of people believing that the most important problems affecting our society today could be solved within our lifetime. In my view, however, this is out of the question and the three most significant problems affecting the society, namely war, environmental destruction and disease, will still influence us and may not be entirely resolved forever. War is a problem afflicting humans since they took into being in the first place. Wars take place when different countries have conflicting benefits, which is unlikely to be eliminated as long as the boundaries between countries still exist. For instance, in the Middle East where water is extremely scarce, many countries are in conflict in contention for water resources. Since every country acts for the sake of its own benefit, it seems that people in the region are incapable of living together in harmony. Eternal world peace, therefore, is unlikely to be achieved in our lifetime. Environmental destruction emerged not long before but it is becoming increasingly severe and can not be ignored. With the large-scale utilization of fossil fuels and rapid development of industry, huge amounts of pollutants are being produced, contaminating the environment to a large degree. The disposal of these pollutants being a tough task, it is hardly possible that we can completely get rid of them within a short period of time. Furthermore, even if we can come up with optimal methods for dealing with these substances, there remains the problem that these methods may cost too much and obstruct the development of economy. Last but not least, the well-being of people around the world is threatened by a variety of diseases, ranging from AIDS to cancer, the cures for which have not been discovered yet. Diseases set off panics among humans, affect their normal life and leave people badly off with the high medical expenses. There are thousands of scientists devoting themselves to finding cure for diseases, but new types of diseases keep emerging and there is no eliminating all of them.
