现在，在英语课堂上用英语教英语已成为共识。但在与学生通过书
面表达方式进行交流时，多数教师往往只看到评语的评价功能，却
忽略评语的语言示范功能与交际功能。例如，很多英语教师在批改
作业时，除了打上一些“错”或“对”的符号外，鲜有能像中文教师那样，在学生的作业本子上写上自己对学生作业比较具体和明确的看
法或意见的。其实，教师的评语，是对学生英语书面表达能力和自
主学习情况的评价和指导。我们用英语授课，在培训学生的口语方
面已“身先士卒”，做出了表率，让学生在英语交际的海洋里学习游泳。现在，若我们用英语写评语，就可以使学生在书面语的培训方
面也同样“下水”了，让学生在真实的英语交际环境中，书面语能力
也得到提高。实际上，教师为学生的英语作业写评语，不仅有利于
提高学生的英语书面交际能力，而且有利于促进师生的知识、思想
和情感的交流，还有利于提高学生自主学习的积极性。下面笔者就
如何写英语评语的问题，谈一点看法和体会。
1．适应性
首先，给学生写作业评语必须具有适应性：教师写的评语是给学生
看的，所以必须使用学生能看得懂的英语来写，要切合学生的实际，符合学生的个性心理发展。也就是说教师在学生作业上的评语所使
用的词汇和语法知识不能过高或过低于学生的现有水平。其次，应
做到循序渐进：由简到繁、由易到难、由一般化到个性化。这两条
是写好英语作业评语的前提。当然评语中偶尔可以有几个生词。

有下划线的是形容词或副词的比较级和最高级形式，假如学生们刚
学过这类知识，及时地给他们写这类批语就能取得很好的效果。
3．鼓励尝试，努力让每一位学生都走向成功
现代教育心理学认为：成就动机能够很好地激发人的学习动机。学
生们都是渴望成功的，成功的动机是一种巨大的情绪力量，它能使
学生产生主动求知的心理冲动，这在做作业中也会表现出来。因此，教师在给学生布置作业时应注意尽量少一些千遍一律的抄写题，多
一些可适当自由发挥的题目或问题，让不同程度和有不同爱好的学
生都有自己发挥想象的空间和提出不同观点的机会，然后不失时机
地给予表扬或鼓励的评语。这样，可以使每个学生都有成功的机会。例如，在教学英语有关食品方面的内容时，我们布置的作业大可不
必让学生抄写vegetable,
beef, rice, tomato, bean等等英语单词，可以提出一些实际问题让他们去解决、去回答：

lunch？ what kinds of food do you usually have

4．真情感动学生
作业不仅仅是师生间教学信息的互相反馈，而且是联系和沟通师生
感情的桥梁。在作业中，学生的思想和自主学习情况，细心的教师
都能觉察到。同样，从教师的评语中学生也能领悟出教师对他是否
真诚、有信心和有责任心。教师对学生的努力一定要有切合实际的
鼓励；对他们取得的成绩、进步，要在评语中表
现出发自内心的赞赏和喜悦；对学生作业中的过错和疏忽一定要诚
心诚意地以恰当的方式指出；对于一些成绩落后的学生要有同情心
和责任心。赞扬要恰如其分，批评要适当委婉，重在鼓励。例如：

5．平等地与学生开展评论性的讨论
我们应尊重学生的个性、人格和创新精神。教师应以学生的学习伙伴、益友的身份介入学生的自主学习中，而不要总以“长者”的姿态
居高临下地指手划脚，总以教训的语气评头论足；教师应以平等的
态度与学生开展评论性的讨论，营造一种平等、自由的学术气氛，
让学生与教师能在作业和评语中自由地交流思想，
让学生拥有创造性地运用所学知识的机会和自由。例如：

6．因材施教，授人以渔
贯彻素质教育的思想，把学生的综合素质作为衡量“材”的标准，把
传授知识当成是为学生的多方面发展服务的，是为开启学生的潜能、培养学生的思维方式和能力服务的。在写评语时，除了努力帮助学
生提高文化知识外，还应承认学生个体之间学习能力、掌握知识程
度的差别，应该因材施教、授人以渔。保护那
些学习成绩落后的、处于不利条件下的学生个体的继续发展权利，
让他们也能得到继续发展。在批改他们的作业时，温和地指出错误
的同时，指出他的优点以资鼓励，那怕是一丁点的优点。例如：

英语作业是英语教学中的一个重要组成部分，布置并批改作业是检
验学生英语知识和能力的一个必要手段，是发现学生的学习潜能、
促进学生学习并为教师提供信息反馈的不可或缺的方法。传统的评
语在评价学生学习成绩、判断答题对错、比较学习差异方面有一定
的作用，但大多枯燥乏味，缺乏激励性，带有片面性，不能全面评
价一个学生的基本素质和学习潜力，在这样的评价中，学生的答题
思路、思维习惯、分析过程等各方面的问题都不能体现出来。《新
课程标准》响亮地提出，要进行形成性评价，突出评价促进发展的
功能。我在教学实践中，把英语作业批改中的评语当成一种艺术，
当成师生交流情感、规范书写、指导方法、拓宽思路的桥梁。通过
作业评语，肯定了学生的学习成绩，指出了他们学习中的不足，调
动了学生的学习积极性，有利于加强师生之间的交流，有力地促进
了学生的英语学习。
一、规范书写，永远鼓励
教师对学生的作业书写进行严格把关，能使学生养成良好的习惯，
这是学生掌握英语知识、培养英语能力的基础，也是素质教育的基
本要求。在学生平时的作业中，我非常注意学生的书写格式规范，
体现在评语上可以这样表达：“you are very clever.it will be bette r if
your handwriting is a bit larger and clearer．”“这个字母不能这
样写，知道为什么吗?”
有的学生基础好但很容易粗心，我在评语中往往首先肯定其长处，
让他们增强自信心，然后提出热切的希望，比如：“这里如果不粗心，
作业可就完美无缺了。”“别理睬粗心这家伙，跟细心交朋友。”“你
的英语书写老师挺喜欢，要是能提高正确率，老师就更喜欢了。”这
些评语既能让他们纠正不良习惯，又能提高他们学习的积极性。
对于那些作业做得相当出色的学生，我往往这样写：“你真的很优秀！ you are really excellent！”“verygood！”对字写得好、作业正确
率高的学生，打上“best！”以作鼓励。学生看了这些评语，学习英
语的积极性进一步提高，学习兴趣也更加浓厚了。
二、指导方法。积极引导
新课程标准力求以过程性、体验性为目标，实现学习方式的转变，
改变单纯记忆、接受、模仿的被动学习方式。教师应向学生明确提
出新的学习方式，发展学生搜集和处理信息的能力、获取新知识的
能力、分析解决问题的能力以及交流合作的能力。所以，当学生作
业中出现了审题、分析、判断等方面的错误时，500 更新时间：

我总是把新课标的精神渗透在我的评语中，通过方法指导，让学生
提高各方面的能力。我不是简单地给予表扬，而是指出路子，让学
生自己去走，比如：“这道题目的
”答案书上有，自己找找看?”“答题的错误让我发现你在做完形填空
题时还要加把劲，下节课我可要提问你

的积极性，促使他们急起直追，迎头赶上，如:“这次有进步，老师很
高兴！”“你付出了劳动，作业完成出色。”这些带有明显感情色彩的
语句可让学生强烈地感受到老师对他们的关爱和希望，同时会使他
们对英语学习产生浓厚的兴趣，增强学习的自信心。
三、发散思维，张扬个性
新课程标准在总体构建上特别体现了语言的实践性特征，语言呈现
形式不以语言知识体系的描述作为主线，而是以学生语言能力的发
展和运用作为主线。从某种意义上来讲，英语作业上的评语，也要
遵循这一原则，所以，评语不仅要反映学生答题的正误，对学生进
行学法上的指导、书写上的规范，还需要尽量拓宽学生的思路，培
养学生语言发展的整体性、语言训练的拓展性、语言运用的创造性、语言实践的括动性。有一次作业是学生写一篇英语作文，有个学生
写得不错，几乎没有语法错误，为了张扬这个优等生的个性，我在
评语中这样写:“两个学生在argue，又来了一位granny／oldwoman，会有怎样的story呢?”这样让他运用所学单词和语法去重新构造故事，再度发散思维。有时，我会在评语中写:“把这次作业内容设置成一个情境，找两个同学合作，下一堂课让你们表演。”这
种做法提高了学生的学习兴趣，培养了他们的创造性思维。
实践证明，英语作业的批改如能注意以上三个方面，对沟通师生之
间的情感、调动学生的学习积极性、促进学生良好学习习惯的养成
都有着极大的好处。
