1. be able to know the function of prep.+whom/which and choose prepositions correctly by comparing the sentences.
2. be able to describe a person or something using attributive clauses containing prep.+which/whom by doing exercises.
3. like to use English to express themselves.

IV. Teaching procedure
Step1: Greeting.
Step2: Lead-in.
A rouse students’ interests by showing some photos of themselves, and ask them to complete the sentences.
Step3: Summarizing the rules.
(1): Complete the attributive clauses on the learning projects and pay attention to prepositions..
(2):Summarize the rules on how to choose correct prepositions.
Step4: Practice makes perfect
Exercise 1: Correct the following wrong sentences.
1:Recently I bought an ancient Chinese vase, the price of whose was very reasonable. 2:Antarctic, which we know very little is covered with thick ice all the year round. 3: He is a man of great experience, from who much can be learned.

Exercise 4: Pay attention to some special prepositions which can’t be separate from their verbs,

One asks the first question and the other answers it using an attributive clause containing prep+which/whom. If the answer is correct, swap roles. If not, continue with the next question. Pick out some questions below to play the game. Work out some questions of your own of you like.
