1.Introduction

1.1Purpose of this Document

This document describes the production and test concept for FOX- and Tianyou- Meter.

2.General Information 总说明

In the past Landis+Gyr Production and Test equipment are normally highly automated in order avoid

failures during processing, production and test.

Therefore the production equipment used for our products, are linked to other computer-controlled

processes.

For FOX- and Tianyou Meter a production system will be designed with a data management system, which will be used by Landis+Gyr or a box build manufacturer.

?It must be easily possible to place the whole production line anywhere in the world.

?Instead of building a highly automated production line, the line is designed for use in countries with low labour rates. Special attention will be paid for production tests before calibration.

?The investment should be kept to a minimum.

? A simple face plate printing system has to be used, based on thermo transfer technology.

? A customer parameter file generation will be used, based on the known system from CIMA/DIACOM.

在处理生产和测试期间,在过去Landis+Gyr生产和试测器材通常按顺序高度被自动化避免失败。

2.1Restrictions of document文件的限制

This document doesn?t describe any test specification in detail. Also the PCBA test?s are not part of this paper, this tests are described in documents [5] and [6].

For China market, special additional test procedures must be done (e.g. burn in test, RTC run-time

accuracy test, additional load point etc.). All this tests are as well not part of this document.

2.1 文件的制约

2.2Manufacturing Decisions制造决策

3.Definition of semi finished meter products半成品的定义

3.2Definition of Fox meter variants FOX变化定义

The table below lists the hardware variants of meters in FOX. As you can see, there are14 possible variants which have to be handled in Zhuhai - China. In the table the percentage of distribution of the variants is also calculated.

FOX Hardware variants FOX-1051 HW-Variants

Lines in “fine written” letters hold hardware functions which are wishes from the marketing specifications. These whish functions are introduced later.在“fine written”信件的线举行是从营销规格的愿望的硬件作用。这些呼呼作声作用以后被介绍。

Pre-assembly (in Zhuhai):

Assembly consists of H ousing, Nuts, suspension hook, current conductor with current coil, isolation

part, main PCBA, LCD- holder, housing cover, sealing screw for cover, viewing

window and button, hinged cover, battery case.

Assembly consists of: Face plate, terminal block, auxbord and battery,

Test for the meter: Load firmware, high voltage, final test and calibration, consumer parameterisation,

3.3Phase 1 (ramp-up)第一阶段

We assembly all 14 variants of FOX meter in Zhuhai according to the forecast. Customer assembly,

calibration and functional test will be done in Zug for FOX meters.

Within the ramp-up phase (6 to 12 month) all parts has to be transported by air freight to Zug.

During this phase we must be able to deliver very flexible, fast and small number of meter to the

customer from Zug.

3.4Phase 2第二阶段

After introduction to the market, 50 to 60% of all meters (3 to 4 HW-Variants) could be delivered to Zug by sea freight. All other meters (10 HW-Variant) has to be delivered in small quantities to Zug by air freight 在市场介绍以后, 50到60%所有米(3到4 HW变形)可能被提供到Zug由海损。其他米(10 HW变形)必须少量被提供到Zug航空邮递

3.5Volume and freight cost of Meter体积和表的运输费用

Volume per meter:

Mass of meter (cm) without terminal covers: spreads 17cm, height 25cm ,deep 8cm = 0.0034 m3

Storage space (in warehouse Zug) 仓库面积(在仓库Zug)里

- A pallet is 800*1200 cm = 1 m2 = two box per 100 meter = 200 meter.

- Cost for the Storage space is in the warehouse in Zug SFR. 360 per m2.

- Camp space in Zug must be aligned for 4 weeks (40 m2 for 8000 meters)

- cost per meter 60 SFR.

Totally Storage space, capital cost and freight cost for 1 meter仓库面积、总基建成本和货物花费了1米

4.Dataflow of order data / specification数据流的订单数据 / 规格

As described in detail in document [1] there are two principle possibilities of order data flows :

a:) order data will be received in paper form only

b:) order data will be received in paper and/or electronic form

The database and the database application can already handle both. It will impact only the subproject

MAP120 (or MAP190) for FOX / Tianyou. In that case, for the production and test concept there will be no impact if the decision of order data flow will be made later.

It might be useful to implement a data export from MAP120 (or MAP190) now, to minimize any

5.Production

As a result of capture 3 (Definition of semi finished meter products), its? pos sible now to define the

production concept for FOX, FOGS .and Tianyou. The products FOX and FOGS will be presented as one product in the following pages and hold through the name FOX.

由第3条 (半完成的米产品的定义),现在可以来定义FOX,FOGS,TIANYOU的生产概念.以下的描述中用FOX 替代这三个产品的名称.

5.1Production concept生产概念

As it is already decided, no external box builder will be involved at the moment, but primary assembly parts of FOX and Tianyou will be done in Zhuhai (see document [4]). Tianyou will be finished then in

Zhuhai, FOX instead will be finished produced in Zug.

Together with the given guidelines and the definition from capture 3, a principle production concept can be defined:

已经决定,采用BOX-builder生产方式,既FOX和Tianyou的主要装配将在珠海完成(参见文件[4])。

Parameterization control (param. control) is made at the first produced meter per order
