评委总结发言(表达感谢时用):Good afternoon, excellent contestants,it’s mygreat pleasure to be here as a judge for this English speech competition. I think allcontestants did a great job today, and I’d like to show my thanks to everyone who hascontributed to organize the competition and has helped to make it a success. S o let’sgive a big round of applause to all of them. Finally I would like to take thisopportunity to wish all the contestants the best of luck and great success in yourfuture.对选手整体水平的肯定:I have been really enjoying this contest thoroughly, especially because all the contestants have approached the topic from different perspectives. All speeches have been well researched, with good thoughts as well asinteresting ideas. I am very pleased to see that most of you delivered your speech withgood pronunciation, clear articulation, with good eye contact and a proper manner. Ontop of all this you all have also demonstrated your remarkable analytical abilities. Theimportance of today goes beyond the comp e tition itself. I always like to say that ”Life is a journey”. Language learning is a life long experience and we never finish learning, especially for the English language which is so alive and ever changing. So as youmove forward with your language learning make sure you enjoy every moment ofyour journey.面对标新立异选手:You really have been very creative in trying to clear out yourpoint. But this time, it was very clearly stated what would be required of you in thespeech. Therefore, it is very important to understand what is required of you and whatis demanded of you in a competition.面对跑题选手(或主题不明确选手)In today’s competition, I think you are a littlea word thattoo hasty in your preparation for the speech. For instance, asyour topic is “changes the world” ,you ‘d better show your point out straightly. Otherwise howcould you grab the audiences’attention to your speech. So next time, you just readcarefully about the instructions before you start making a speech. And try tounderstand every word clearly and correctly.对不能及时切入主题的选手:I think the basic rules of communication are universal, and apply across languages and cultures. Say what you mean, and say it in as clear, direct, and simple a manner as possible. And when you are talking or writing toous thing first.someone from a different country, don’t be afraid to say the obvi面对发音不好的选手:I have to mention in this competition that you still need toimprove your pronunciatione specially rhythm and sentence stress. You need toThankimprove your vowels. It is still very important. I think that’s all I want to say. you very much for your speech.对表现好的选手I am very much impressed by the speech you have made. Tocompare with the speech of others, you really did a great job. I feel good about this.First of all, in your prepared speech, you are more to the point and your English ismore natural. Secondly, your point is very impressive. And you provide a lot ofexamples to support your speech.对即兴演讲的评论:Talking about your impromptu speech, I think you are quitesensitive to answer questions.Your answer is quite logical and I like it.对眼神交流/肢体语言把握好的选手:It's worth metioning that you give us afantastic speech with an impressive beginning, ending or the free talk. Furthermore, you are enthusiastic throughout the speech. You made good eye contact with theaudience and used appropriate body language in the speech. .You made your speechmore wonderful and more perfect with your body language. You looked cool!适时对选手提出的建议:We all know a language is a means and the purpose iscommunication. What really matters is the courage to come and participate in thecontest. I should learn from all of you. However, there are still some problems andmuch room for improvement. I am going to put forward some suggestions on how todo better in the future.Have you thought about this question: When you prepare a speech, there is somethingmore important than language. What is it? It is idea. Ideas come before the language. If you don’t know what to say, if you have no ideas, what is the use of the language? So, you must think, and think again and decide what you want to say and thenorganize your ideas. One point I want to emphasize is that you should have your ownapproach, your own original ideas. If you only borrow things from others or copythings from some ready materials or textbooks, your speech is bound to fail. In thiscontest we hear some expressions again and again. Then, we know you have been borrowing things from the same source. To quote from one of the topics forimpromptu speech: “Imagination is more important than knowledge.” This is a quotation from Einstein. If we want the world to move forward, we need imagination, and we need creativity.对即兴演讲的建议:When you prepare your impromptu speech, the most importantthing is to be clear about the topic you have chosen. If you miss the point, howeverfluent and expressive you are, you get a poor mark. For example, there is a topic: Toerr is human; to forgive is divine. When you choose this topic, you should know itmeans everybody makes mistakes, but if you are able to forgive other people’mistakes, then you are a better being. The emphasis is the second half. If you only talkabout how to do your best to correct your mistakes, you miss the point. I feel this partis the most difficult part of the contest. You have to be quick for you don’t ha time to prepare; you have to be knowledgeable for you must understand the meaningof the topic properly.对选手提出更高要求:So, you must have realized the contest has become more demanding,. You need to have something more creative. And next year, you would beexpected to be at a new and higher stage.
(1) Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, I’m very glad to make a speechhere. Today my topic is “I love you, China.”Since the day I was born, I began to have a proud name—Chinese. Sincethe day I began to talk, the most beautiful sentence I’ve ever learnthas been “I love you, China!”I love you, China, and I’m so proud of being a Chinese. I’m proudthat I’ve got the beautiful yellow skin, black eyes and black hair. I’m also proud that I speak the most beautiful language in the world—Chinese.I love you, China, for I can feel the deep love you give me every day, every minute. Last year, I got an opportunity to visit the United Statesof America. During my staying there, my father’s boss once invited myfamily to dinner. While at table, he looked at me and asked: “Little boy,how long have you been in America?”“About a month,” I answered, “Howlucky you are!” he said, “If you were living in China, how could youlearn such perfect English?” I smiled and told him proudly that all thestudents in China are able to learn English at school. I saw his surprisedeyes and said to myself, “I’m proud of you, China. For you are offeringus the best education.”When I came back from the USA, my friends asked me: “How do you feelabout your staying there?”“Wonderful” I said. “Then why do you comeback?” Hearing this, I told them there were lots of beautiful countriesin the world, but none of them can compare with our own country—China. How true the saying is: “There’s no place like home!”I love you, China. As a young student, all we should do is to studyhard and devote ourselves whole-heartedly in the future, to the greatcause of building you into an even stronger and greater country in theworld. I love you, my dear motherland! I love you, China!Thank you for your listening !英语演讲比赛稿范文 (2) Distinguished judges, teachers, dear friends:Hello, everyone! My name is cheng xiang yan , I am a junior studentcome from life science institution .Today, I am very glad to stand hereand share with you my most sincere speech‘Flying youth, master ourfuture!’Life is a process of growing up. Saying goodbye to childhood, we stepinto another important time of life in the pace of young, facing newsituations, dealing with different problems.....However, who can really say what the youth is ? A period of time? Abelief? An attitude to life? Or anything else? actually, everyone has his ownunderstanding of young, it is a period of time of beauty and wonders, only after you have experienced the sour , sweet ,bitter and salty, canyou really become a person of significance.Just like A famous poet said ‘ youth is a lovely song ,where nothingis impossible ,youth is a meaningful book, you’ll be never bored ofit ;youth is a rapid river ,it keeps on flowing day and night ;youth isa cup of tea ,it shows you different kinds of tastes in your life. ’As youth is so precious, of course, we must treasure it .Don’t letthe limited time pass by, grasping the young will means a better time iswaiting for you in the near future. So,It’s necessary for us to prepare ourselves well for the future to come. having a view on those great men in the history of hunman being, they all made full use of their youth time to do things that are useful to society, to the whole mankind, and as a consequence ,they are remembered by later generations, admired by everyone. so do something in the time of young, although you may not get achievements as these greatmendid ,though not for the whole world, just for youeself, for those around! So, what should we do when we are young? Here,I’ll point out some tips to help equip ourselves.First of all, think of what you’d like to be some day. A teacher ?A doctor ? A writer? Don’t afraid of dreaming of big and great .Since you are young , you can dream of doing anything and becoming anyone in the future. What’s more , never ignore the power of knowledge. Read more books and travel around. For one thing, it can increase your knowledge, for another, it’ll broaden your horizon.Last but not the least , stick to your dream. It easier said than done. After all, future is not all roses. young is just like blooming flowers, they are so beautiful when blooming, which make people feel happy, but with time passing by, after they withers ,most people think they are ugly. and so it is the same with young, we are enthusiastic when we are young, then we may lose our passion when getting older and older. So we should have enough courage and determination to overcome all the difficulties in struggling on the road.I firmly believe one sentence that‘If you think you can, of course you can!’Just believe we can make it! Keep on walking towards our dream. Flying youth , master our future. From today, from now on , are you Ready ?That’s all. Thank you so much for your attention !英语演讲比赛稿范文 (3) Today I am very glad to be here to share with you my ideas of success. What is success? It is what everyone is longing for.Sometimes successwould be rather simple. Winning a game is success; getting a high gradein the exam is success; making a new friend is success; even now I amstanding here giving my speech is somehow also success. However, as a person's whole life is concerned, success becomes verycomplicated. Is fortune success? Is fame success? Is high social statussuccess? No, I don’t think so. I believe success is the realization ofpeople's hopes and ideals.Nowadays, in the modern society there are manypeople who are regarded as the successful. And the most obviouscharacteristics of them are money, high position and luxurious life. Somost people believe that s success and all that they do is for this purpose. But the problem is wether it is real success. We all know there are alwaysmore money, higher position and better condition in front of us. If wekeep chasing them, where is the end? What will satisfy us at last? Therefore, we can see, to get the real Success we must need somethinginside, which is the realization of people's hopes and ideals.Different people have different ideas about success; cause people'shopes and ideas vary from one another. But I am sure every success is dearto everybody, cause it is not easy to come by, cause in the process ofour striving for success, we got both our body and soul tempted, meanwhilewe are enlightened by the most valuable qualities of human beings: love, patient, courage and sense of responsibility. These are the best treasures. So now I am very proud that I have this opportunity to stand here speakingto all of you. It is my success, cause I raise up to challenge my hope. What is success? Everyone has his own interpretation as I do. But Iam sure every success leads to an ever-brighter future. So ladies andgentlemen, believe in our hopes, believe in ourselves, we, every one ofus, can make a successful life!Wish you all good success!英语演讲比赛稿范文 (4) In my 18 years of life, there have been many things. University daysare the best part of them. I can never forget the days when I stepped intomy university. I was impressed by its garden'like campus, its enthusiasticstudents and especially its learning atmosphere. I at once fell in lovewith it.After the arduous military training, I get absolutely absorbed in mystudies. The classes given by the teachers are excellent. They provideus with information not only from our textbooks but from many other sourcesas well. They easily arouse my insatiable desire to take in as much asI can.Frankly speaking, at first I had some difficulty following theteachers. However, through my own efforts and thanks to my teachers'guidance, I made remarkable progress. Now I've benefited a lot fromlectures and many other academic reports.Learning is a long process; I'll keep exploring in the treasure houseof knowledge to enrich myself. This summer I got out of the ivory towerand entered the real world. A publishing house offered me a part'time jobin compilation and revision. At the beginning I was belittled by my colleagues. But they were reallysurprised when I translated seven English articles over 5,000 words ononly one day. Gradually, they began to look at me with respectful eyes.In their opinion I turned out to be a useful and trustworthy colleague.I also realize that only those who bring happiness for others can betruly happy. So I often take part in activities concerning public welfare.I once went to a barren mountain village with my classmates. We taughtthe kids there who could not afford school. While showing them how broadand how civilized the outer world is, I was deeply touched by theireagerness to learn, their honesty and their purity. I couldn't controlmy tears on the day when we left. The precious experience with the poorkids made me aware of the responsibility on the shoulders of us, futureteachers.Besides study and social practice, there are entertainments as well.I do body building every day, hoping to keep healthy and energetic. Wealso write a play and put it on in our spare time.Campus life is the most splendid time. But different people havedifferent choices. The majority of students cherish their beautifulseason and cherish the hope that one day they'll become outstanding. Butthere are indeed some students still under ignorance. They gather togetherfor eating, drinking or playing cards. They're busy in searching for agirlfriend or a boyfriend. They forget completely about their mission ascollege students and the hope of their motherland. Finally, I do hope everybody can try their best to become a worthycitizen of the country. I do hope everybody can become the backbone ofour nation and make great contributions to society!英语演讲比赛稿范文 (5) We often hear people say, “Never give up.” These can be encouragingwords and words of determination. A personwho believes in them will keeptrying to reach his goal no matter how manytimes he fails. In my opinion, the quality of determination to succeed is animportant one to have. Therefore, I believe that we should never give up.One reason is that if we give up too easily, we will rarelyachieveanything. It is not unusual for us to fail in our first attemptat somethingnew, so we should not feel discouraged and should try again.Besides, if wealways give up when we fail, we will not be able to developnew skills and growas people. Another reason we should never give up isthat we can learn from ourmistakes only if we make a new effort. If wedo not try again, the lesson wehave learned is wasted. Finally, we shouldnever give up because as we work toreach our goals, we develop confidence, and this confidence can help us succeedin other areas of our lives. Ifwe never challenge ourselves, we will begin todoubt our abilities. In short, it is important that wedo not give up when working for ourgoals. Whether we succeed in the end ornot, we will learn something, andwhat we learn will help us to become better, more confident people.Furthermore, if we give up, we have non chance ofattaining our goals, butif we keep trying, there is always a chance that wewill succeed one day.Thank you !英语演讲比赛稿范文 (6) Good afternoon, dear teachers. I’m very glad to be here to have aspeech. The topic of my speech is <the spirit of sports>.As far as I’m concerned, I’m a sheer amateur of sports, beingfascinated by swimming, running, mountaineering and so on. I couldn’tagree with these perspectives from people who dislike sports, because you’ll feel greatly relieved after being drenched in sweats by sports. Sportscan also help you forget your worries and stress, feeling unprecedentedrelaxed. As is known, a healthy body is extraordinarily crucial. Moreover physical exercise undeniably exerts a far-reaching influence on keeping ourselves fit. In taking part in out-door sports, we are closer to nature and can take in fresh air. The beauty of nature will keep us clear-headed, which is essential to our health. Besides sports can stimulate the circulation of blood and help to excrete the wastes in the body. It also can work up our appetite and activate or digestion. In a word, sports can give rise to a strong body for us.In contemporary society, with the increasing focus on health, people in ever expanding numbers join the trend of doing sports and begin to accept more and more sorts of fashionable sports, ranging from hiking to diving. From this phenomenon, we can see not only do sports play a significant role in health, but also lay a solid foundation for human beings’ spirit.Taking hiking for example, it’s a blend of man and nature completely way to travel, and also a kind of sports that not only need your physical strength, but also need the patience, perseverance and persistence. At the beginning of climbing a mountain, you’ll be exciting with the fantastic scene of mountain, river and water. However, after a half way, you’ll fell so tired and exhausted. The climbing road becomes more and more steep. At that time, it requires your persistence and determination to conquer arduous situations. It just likes the life, the closer the success is, the more difficulties you must endure. From my aspects, the enchantment of sports is that it’s a challenge for the limit of your body --- both a sort of healthy and popular life style and an reflection of optimistic and positive attitude. Just like nowadays, the development of Olympic games is harmonious and prosperous, for the reason that it’s not only for shaping human’s body, but morefor pursuing a king of spirit --- faster, higher, stronger. This is my speech. Thank you.英语演讲比赛稿范文 (7) SmileWhat is a smile? Some people say that the expression is the heart.I think that smile is a heart, is a strong It is a detached charm; smileis a grace, it has a warm and friendly, with acceptance and caring, withtolerance and open-minded with a relaxed and optimistic. Therefore, inworking and living in a smile treat everyone around them has become mygreatest wish. I smiled through every day.Every day, I smile, I love the education of students. Early in themorning, accompanied by sun, we are ushering in a group of group ofstudents, they have lovely, and some naughty naughty, some clever, somewood satisfied, ... ..., no matter who, no matter what he is from the family,No matter how his performance, I smiled and treat each of them.Mischievous and occasionally also to blame, because of deteriorationand while the loss due to discipline, but the office really does not keepideas and personal considerations, the children will really be you, bitby bit to see their progress, you will more to bloom broad smiles on theirfaces.Normal years, no matter what kind of class, as a teacher, guides theefforts of the children's mental and physical immersion in between thelines, so that high-spirited children from the passion straightforward, and so it goes, teachers and students do not stress and worry, so naturally, such a statement to the words to, so that the soul of the teachers andstudents mingled with the class as What is Education? His seventeen years of education told me that education is a dynamic process of human spiritual encounter and dialogue. Education is looking forward to that education is in hand, education is the clarity, education is exciting, full of education with regards to the truth, education filled with smiling faces. The face of my students, I would like to smile every day.Every day, I smile, to live together with my colleagues. People encounter is a margin of its own. Moreover, today, we have a common cause to come together, how can we not smile to cherish? Smile is the一泓spring water from the bottom of my heart, the soul of a tacit understanding friends, and strangers is to shorten the distance. In November, I bid farewell to each other overnight partner, leaving the plants in the chest clear Xinzhuang Town primary school, went to a new collective --- a small aircraft to China. Lonely? Regret it?When friends heard of the sorry and asked with concern, I always smile to tell you: all could hang good! School teachers and soon familiar, it's a sincere heart to the smiling face of a sincere life, in the face of work: Every day, we smiled and talked about the cause of the school, the school's development, all other schools; a smile on the shuttle classrooms, inter-office, even though every day seems to have endless things busy, but its music also fills the air with warmth! I am happy, I smile.Every day, I smile to face itself. I think that there is no heart murmur smile flow, there will be no free and easy life. ,Functions, regardless of how high or how inconspicuous impressive, I do not have the time ecstasy, nor dismissive of secretly laughing, I smiled frankly accepted the blessing of his companions.I know that school is my lucky love, duty and destiny of theappointment is lucky, I have to smile thanks to all! Difficulty comes,I have discouraged, but also thought of retreat, but in the end I was thecourage to meet the challenges of a smile, because I believe that witha smile the face of suffering, then tomorrow, if you will like the brightsmile today. Nevertheless, every day, every day, I also can not own themsmile?Teachers with a sincere smile treatment of students, to treatthemselves, to treat everyone around you, we will have a life unmatchedbeauty and free and easy. Let us hope that smiled torch, go together likea glorious tomorrow, let us smile, the life of a brilliant show shine.Dear teachers, please let a smile every day!英语演讲比赛稿范文 (8) Good afternoon, honorable judges, dear teachers & friends.I'm Lai Senhan from the University of International Business &Economics. Do you know what date is it today? Today is the Olympic Date.I'm so glad to stand here today to share my idea about Beijing OlympicGames together with you all. The title of my speech is: what can we dofor Beijing Olympic Games?First of all, let me tell you a story that happened 2 years ago. Atthe end of August, 20xx, when I decided to come to Beijing for study, myfriends hel* * rewell Party for me. They said: after your graduation, youshould look for a job in Beijing, and then in 20xx, we shall go to visityou during the Olympic Games. I laughed and answered: OK, no problem!Time flied and 2 years passed. Now I am a graduate. My teachers andclassmates always ask me: what's your plan after your graduation? Go backhome, stay in Beijing, or go to some other places? And I always answer:I will stay in Beijing. I make this decision not because of my promise to my friends 2 years ago, but because: I've fallen in love with Beijing! I'm eager to welcome the coming Olympic Games together with my fellow countrymen, and I wish I could do something for the Olympics & for the city.As we know, Beijingwill host the 29th Summer Olympic Games in 20xx. As a Chinese, I think many people are thinking: what we can do for Beijing Olympic Games. Most of us are not athletes, we cannot take part in competitions directly; we are not officials either, we don't need to do the preparatory work. We are only ordinary people, what we can do!There are still so many things we can do! For example, for me, I am a graduate majoring Business English. As far as I am concerned, I will keep on learning English hard, and apply for being a volunteer. I will use English to serve the Games together with other volunteers. And also, as a businessman at that time, I will avail myself of the great commercial opportunities that the Olympics brings to us, make more efforts to offer my contribution to the growth of our national economy. And for all of us, with the goal to host a "Green Olympics", we shall plant more trees, grass & flowers. Don't waste water. In order to alleviate the problems of air pollution & traffic congestions, we shall take buses & subways more. With the goal to host a "People's Olympics", and in order to make our Olympics more attractive and to make our Beijing more beautiful, we shall help everyone we meet who needs help, we shall abide by traffic rules, don't smoke in public and no spitting. The most important way for our Chinese to support our Beijing Olympic Games, in my opinion, is to work hard on our duties.。

初中生英语口语比赛演讲稿篇1Chinahas a very long and brilliant history, whose people are so friendly and hospitable. But I am wondering why some people pay such little attention to the environment and nature. In many places of the countryside, rivers have become stinking sewers and brooks have disappeared. Heaps of garbage obstructs the scarce flow of dirty water. The grounds are littered with plastic bottles and bags. People are cutting down trees even though it is illegal. In some towns, rubbish is hidden behind walls. Garbage cans are often of little use, making cleaners must rush all day long and also by night to clean the rubbish. This lack of consideration for nature in general is extremely detrimental to childrens education, toChinas image, to public health, to tourism and to the future.Chinais the common treasure of all Chinese, and we should live up to be a member of this big family, a descendant of 5000-year-plus ancient civilized country.I think the environment must absolutely be strictly protected by all means. This protection should go at the same pace as the marvelous development of the nation. In this respect,Germanyis a rare model and leaves me a very deep impression. After you have an exciting tour around in this country for a week or so, it is unnecessary for you to polish your leather shoes. Personally, first of all, the strong awareness of peoples environmental protection; then, the advanced technology applied in the field of preserving the nature; We can learn form others in building China into one of the most environmentally friendly places in the world.初中生英语口语比赛演讲稿篇2Good morning, Everyone!I will talk about sports. I am an active boy. I like many kinds of sports, such as walking, skating, climbing, cycling and skipping. Doing sports gives me a good health and brings me a lot of fun. Now, I will tell you about my cycling sport. I often ride my bicyclewhen I am free. I like to ride my bicycle on a road near my house. It is an empty road. There are no cars and few people walking on the road. It is about four kilometers long. It has several long slopes. So it is very good for cycling. When I ride down the slopes, the bicycle runs very fast, and I feel I am flying. Thats a very good feeling for me. When I ride up the slopes, it is very difficult, but it is a good training for me. I always try my best to ride up as long as possible. Cycling there gives me lots of fun.Everyone can get ill, but doing sports is a good doctor. I know an English saying "Exercise one hour a day, keep illness away." My own story has proved it. I once had an illness. I had to go to see the doctors and take medicines very often. After doing sports for several years, I have recovered now.Doing sports gives me a strong body and brings me lots of fun. So if you want to be strong, please do sports; if you want to enjoy a happy life, please do sports, too.Thank you!初中生英语口语比赛演讲稿篇3hello everyone,My name is Duan Jiayu, English name is Daisy, seven years old this year, first grade in Daxing.I am very pleased to attend the "star of hope" English contest. My hobby is climbing and hiking, when I was only two years old, mygrandma took me to climb the Longevity Hill of the summer palace, longevity hill has 60 meters, I climbed the mountain with hands and feet, clothes and pants stained with dirt, just like a soil monkey. Today my speech is "I loveblack-faced spoonbill. On a beautiful winter day, I happened to meet the lovely spirit---- Black Faced Spoonbill, a type of migratory bird, which spends winter at Hong-Shu-Lin in my city every year. Covered withsnow-white feathers, it has black legs and a black beak. Besides the blacks and whites, an amazing splash of yellow is under its neck. So elegant that I couldnt help loving it at first sight. With a big and spoon-shaped beak, it can clasp fishes easily, whichmakes it a powerful hunter in birds. However, with human expansion and pollution, only around 2000 ones are living all over the world.Like the eleven swan princes in Andersens Fairy Tale, the Black Faced Spoonbills have always been struggling to find a tiny rock which can offer them a momentary tranquility. Fortunately, they have found one in my beloved home. I would always hold them dearly to my heart and wish they would return with flocks of chicks in the following years, and singing...Oh, I have a home, such a beautiful home, where I play and rest happily.Oh, give them a home, such a wonderful home, where the spoonbills play all day.初中生英语口语比赛演讲稿篇5Never, Never Give UpWe often hear people say, "Never give up." These can be encouraging words and words of determination. A person who believes in them will keep trying to reach his goal no matter how many times he fails. In my opinion, the quality of determination to succeed is an important one to have. Therefore, I believe that we should never give up.One reason is that if we give up too easily, we will rarely achieveanything. It is not unusual for us to fail in our first attempt at something new, so we should not feel discouraged and should try again. Besides, if we always give up when we fail, we will not be able to develop new skills and grow as people. Another reason we should never give up is that we can learn from our mistakes only if we make a new effort. If we do not try again, the lesson we have learned is wasted. Finally, we should never give up because as we work to reach our goals, we develop confidence, and this confidence can help us succeed in other areas of our lives. If we never challenge ourselves, we will begin to doubt our abilities. In short, it is important that we do not give up when working for our goals. Whether we succeed in the end or not, we will learn something, and what we learn will help us to become better, more confident people. Furthermore, if we give up, we have non chance of attaining our goals, but if we keep trying, there is always a chance that we will succeed one day.Thank you !看完"初中生英语口语比赛演讲稿5篇"的人1.学生英语口语大赛演讲稿3篇2.英语口语大赛演讲稿3.初中英语口语演讲稿4.大学生英语口语演讲比赛稿3篇5.初二年级英语口语演讲稿精选6.初中生英语励志演讲稿精选3篇7.中学生英语演讲比赛演讲稿。
英语演讲比赛篇一Almost everyone has some kind of hobby. It may be anything from collecting stamps to making model airplanes. Some hobbies are worth a lot of money; others are valuable only to their owners.英语演讲比赛稿篇二Good afternoon, dear teachers. I’m very glad to be here to have a speech. The topic of my speech is <the spirit of sports>.As far as I’m concerned, I’m a sheer amateur of sports, being fascinated by swimming, running, mountaineering and so on. I couldn’t agree with these perspectives from people who dislike sports, because you’ll feel greatly relieved after being drenched in sweats by sports. Sports can also help you forget your worries and stress, feeling unprecedented relaxed. From this phenomenon, we can see not only do sports play a significant role in health, but also lay a solid foundation for human beings’ spirit. From my aspects, the enchantment of sports is that it’s a challenge for the limit of your body --- both a sort of healthy and popular life style and an reflection of optimistic and positive attitude. Just like nowadays, the development of Olympic games is harmonious and prosperous, for the reason that it’s not only for shaping human’s body, but more for pursuing a king of spirit --- faster, higher, stronger. This is my speech. Thank you.英语口语演讲比赛稿5分钟篇三Dream, with each one of us.The various kinds of products in delicate Chinese stores, inns and shops inevitably have the sign of “Made in China”。

英语比赛获奖演讲稿1honorable judges, fellow students:good afternoon!recently, there is a heated debate in our society. the college students are the beneficiaries of a rare privilege, who receive exceptional education at extraordinary places. but will we be able to face the challenge and support ourselves against all odds? will we be able to better the lives of others? will we be able to accept the responsibility of building the future of our country?the cynics say the college students are the pampered lost generation, which would cringe at the slightest discomfort. but the cynics are wrong. the college students i see are eagerly learning about how to live independently. we help each other clean the dormitory, go shopping and bargain together, and take part time jobs to supplement our pocket money.the cynics say we care for nothing other than grades; and we neglect the need for character cultivation. but again, the cynics are wrong. we care deeply for each other, we cherish freedom, we treasure justice, and we seek truth.last week, thousands of my fellow students had their blood type tested in order to make a contribution for the children who suffer from blood cancer.as college students, we are adolescents at the critical turning point in our lives. we all face a fundamental choice: cynicism or faith, each will profoundly impact our future, or even the future of our country. i believe in all my fellow classmates. though we are still inexperienced and even a little bit childish.i believe that we have the courage and faith to meet any challenge and take onour responsibilities. we are preparing to assume new responsibilities and tasks, and to use the education we have received to make our world a better place. i believe in our future.英语比赛获奖演讲稿2once upon a time, a weenie ant was walking on his way. as he was walking, suddenly he felt the ground shaking terribly. he looked around with his paranoid eyes and saw an elephant walking right behind him. quickly, the little ant covered himself with dirt, but one leg was unfortunately left out. a sparrow saw everything, so she flew down with the purpose of teasing the ant: “hey, chicken! watch out your leg, it’s out!” the ant felt embarrassed at first but then calmly responded: “ shi…i am going to trip that elephant.”right now, i’m standing on this glamorous stage. but everything here reminds me of is a not so fun memory. around this time last year i was in nanjing competing in another speech contest. that was the first time for me to be in such a large event. of course the pressure i was under was immense too. after a sleepless and stressful night, i went onto that stage without the feeling in my legs. that speech turned out to be horrible. i don’t remember how i get down from there, but i do remember afterwards i just wanted to find a hole to hide in just like the ant in the story. back at my school, it took a long time for me to recover. thanks to all the help i got from my special friends. my confidence was restored. after rounds of giving speeches and answering tough questions, i am here today. from all that i’ve been through i’ve learned that a good future is based on a forgotten past, if i want my life to go on well i have to let go of my past failure. so today, with out fear, i am tripping my elephant again.英语比赛获奖演讲稿3As the song goes “ My future isn’t a dream .” I love the song which brings me confidence when singing it every time . I believe that all our dreams can come true if we have courage to pursue them .When I was young my father always asked mewhat I would be in the future . Sometimes I found it very hard to give a certain reply . “ I want to be a doctor .”“ I want to be a teacher .” and “ I ’d like to be a scientist !” Many of these answers are perhaps very childish and ridiculous . But I never think they are far away .How time flies! Who is able to give a definition to his future ? I know clearly that those high buildings are based on solid foundation . As a student , I should have a reasonable aim , and study hard . My goal is to enter the best university for further study after middle school . I know it’s hard work , and I ’ll come across many difficulties and frustrations . But no matter what they are , I’ll keep working on it and never give up . My teacher says there ’s only one kind of people that are truly successful : those who are brave enough to put up with hardships . Even if I won’t achieve the goal , I have no regrets for what I have done , for I have struggled for my life .英语比赛获奖演讲稿4 I Love You, China!Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, I’m very glad to make a speech here. Today my topic is “I love you, China.”Since the day I was born, I began to have a proud name—Chinese. Since the day I began to talk, the most beautiful sentence I’ve ever learnt has been “I love you, China!”I love you, China, and I’m so proud of being a Chinese. I’m proud that I’ve got the beautiful yellow skin, black eyes and black hair. I’m also proud that I speak the most beautiful language in the world—Chinese.I love you, China, for I can feel the deep love you give me every day, every minute. Last year, I got an opportunity to visit the United States of America. During my staying there, my father’s boss once invited my family to dinner. While at table, he looked at me and asked: “Little boy, how long have you been in America?”“About a month,”I answered, “How lucky you are!” he said, “If you were living in China, how couldyou learn such perfect English?” I smiled and told him proudly that all the students in China are able to learn English at school. I saw his surprised eyes and said to myself, “I’m proud of you, China. For you are offering us the best education.” When I came back from the USA, my friends asked me: “How do you feel about your staying there?”“Wonderful” I said. “Then why do you come back?” Hearing this, I told them there were lots of beautiful countries in the world, but none of them can compare with our own country—China. How true the saying is: “There’s no place like home!”I love you, China. As a young student, all we should do is to study hard and devote ourselves whole-heartedly in the future, to the great cause of building you into an even stronger and greater country in the world. I love you, my dear motherland! I love you, China!Thank you for your listening !英语比赛获奖演讲稿5 On March 14th, 2021, professor Stephen William Hawking passed away. We’re living in an era in which science is embedded in people’s lives. From teachers who pass on knowledge, to constructionworkers who build labs; from organizations that provide funding, to scientists who conduct research, we all contribute to science in our own unique ways. We the people say we’re ready. On October 5th, 2021, China finally had its first Nobel Prize in natural science. Ms. Tu Youyou’s work and her receiving the most prestigious science award made us proud. We’re living in an era in which China is building some of the best research projects and institutions worldwide. Just a month ago, Professor Zhang Miman won the UNESCO for Women in Science Award, making her the fifth Chinese recipient of this honor. A week after that, The Economist referred to China as “a continent-sized rapidly growing economy with a culture of scientific inquiry”. Physicist and vice president of the Chinese Academy of Science, Dr. Zhang Jie stated, “China now has the most accurate, sufficient and largest amount of data; China has the highest, fastest and best ability of data analysis. The Chinese government will be strongly pushing for the sharing and utilization of data resources.” We as a country say we’re ready.Science is an immortal topic of mankind. We’ve come this far because we’ve learned to work together and let the ideas evolve. The dispute over the completeness of quantum mechanics, for example, was resolved in the 5th Solvay conference, attended by 29 physicists from 10 different countries who have won 15 Nobel Prizes combined. That was almost 100 years ago. Now we’re living in an era in which information is transmitted at the speed of light, in which “International cooperation” is not just a slogan anymore, especially to the scientific community. Chinese Academy of Science now has 47 partners overseas. The International Council for Science now includes 122 national members, 23 scientific associates and 31 scientific unions. The facilities of the European Organization for Nuclear Research, or CERN, are available to over 600 universities and institutes around the globe. We, the world, are more than ready. We’re all made of particles that have existed since the beginning of the universe, I’d like to believe those particles traveled through countless eras to create us,so that we, the people, China, and the world, can stand on the shoulders of giants, march into the new era with our head held high, and make people like Professor Hawking proud.英语比赛获奖演讲稿。

英语演讲比赛演讲稿(8篇)this is no surprise though if you look at the insights of contemporary psychology. it turns out that we cant even be in a group of people without instinctively mirroring, mimicking their opinions. even about seemingly personal and visceral things like who youre attracted to, you will start aping the beliefs of the people around you without even realizing that thats what youre doing. and groups famously follow the opinions of the most dominant or charismatic person in the room, even though theres zero correlation between being the best talker and having the best ideas -- i mean zero. so ... (laughter) you might be following the person with the best ideas, but you might not. and do you really want to leave it up to chance? much better for everybody to go off by themselves, generate their own ideas freed from the distortions of group dynamics, and then come together as a team to talk them throughin a well-managed environment and take it from there.now if all this is true, then why are we getting it so wrong? why are we setting up our schools this way and our workplaces? and why are we making these introverts feel so guilty about wanting tojust go off by themselves some of the time? one answer lies deep in our cultural history. western societies, and in particular the u.s., have always favored the man of action over the man of contemplation and “man“ of contemplation. but in americas early days, we lived in what historians call a culture of character, where we still, at that point, valued people for their inner selves and their moral rectitude. and if you look at the self-help books from this era, they all had titles with things like “character, the grandest thing in the world.“ and they featured role models like abraham lincoln who was praised for being modest and unassuming. ralph waldo emerson called him “a man who does not offend by superiority.“but then we hit the 20th century and we entered a new culture that historians call the culture of personality. what happened is we had evolved an agricultural economy to a world of big business. and so suddenly people are moving from small towns to the cities. and instead of working alongside people theyve known all their lives, now they are having to prove themselves in a crowd of strangers. so, quite understandably, qualities like magnetism and charisma suddenly come to seem really important. and sure enough, theself-help books change to meet these new needs and they start to have names like “how to win friends and influence people.“ and they feature as their role models really great salesmen. so thats the world were living in today. thats our cultural inheritance. 英语演讲竞赛经典优秀演讲稿篇五英语演讲竞赛即兴演讲篇六英语演讲大赛英文篇七good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen! The poet said: spring flowers to the door pushed open.I said:Thanksgiving to the door pushed open the living. Wow, what a dream it has been for Martin Luther King. But the changing world seems telling me that people gradually get their dreams lost somehow in the process of growing up, and sometimes I personally find myself saying goodbye unconsciously to those distant childhood dreams. However,we meed dreams. They nourish our spirit; they represent possibility even when we are dragged down by reality. They keep us going. Most successful people are dreamers as well asordinary people who are not afraid to think big and dare to be great. When we were little kids, we all dreamed of doing something big and splashy, something significant. Now what we need to do is to maintain them, refresh them and turn them into reality. However, the toughest part is that we often have no ideas how to translate these dreams into actions. Well, just start with concrete objectives and stick to it. Don’t let the nameless fear confuse the eye and confound our strong belief of f→.←uture. Through our talents, through our wits, through our endurance and through our creativity, we will make it.Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly. Hold fast to dreams, for when dreams go,life is a barren field frozen with snow. So my dear friends, think of your old and maybe dead dreams. Whatever it is, pick it up and make it alive from today.Thank you!。
21世纪杯学生比赛英语演讲稿21世纪杯学生比赛英语演讲稿范文篇1East and West have metrunner-up: Rui Cheng gang, Foreign Affair CollegeHonorable judges, ladies and gentlemen:Kipling said: East is east, and West is West, and never the twain shall meet! But now, a century later, they have met. They have met in business. They have met in education. They have met in the arts. Some would argue that these meetings leave us with a choice between East and West ,but I believe the best future lies in the creative combination of both worlds. We can make Western ideas, customs and technology our own, and adapt them to our own use. We can enjoy the best of all worlds, because our tradition is, above all, one of selecting the best and making it our own. But, do Western styles and values threaten our identity?History makes it easy for us to think so-perhaps too easy. Some people seem to think that adopting Western customs, such as a bride wearing white-which has long been a color ofmourning in China, instead of the traditional Chinese red for her wedding, is another submission to foreign intervention,--a betrayal of our heritage, they say. They fear that as we become globalized, we will no longer be Chinese.I do not agree.History teachers that a strong and confident nation is at ease in hearing from the outside world. The wedding of Eastern and Western cultures, whether in white gowns or red, brings us variety. It is a rich banquet of special foods from all over the world. As an amateur gourmet of Chinese cuisine, our superb flavours delight me.But my Chinese taste appreciates food from any land.I even allow the convenience of McDonalds a place in my life without giving up my good taste. My grandfather taught me to hum tunes of Beijing opera from the time I was very young; they are deep in my spirit, part of my soul.I love Beijing opera, because it always reminds me of who I am.But I am also a fan of modern pop music, the No.1 fan of Spice Girls on campus.of course, it goes far beyond food, music and dance. It goes into values and ways of thinking about the world.Once upon a time, or so my teacher told me, a Chinese boy and an American girl had a squabble. Both wanted to keep a bunny rabbit they had found in the garden.Surely youve seen a rabbit sunning himself in the grass.Nothing is more lovable, nothing more natural. No wonder they wanted him. The Chinese boy played his er-hu. Happiness and joy, longing and passion, filled the air. The little rabbit swayed gently and began to move his ears in the direction of the music. He liked what he heard. The girl then took out her violin and played it to produce beautiful melodies of her own.The rabbit began to bounce in her direction. So intent were the children on their own music that neither paid the other any attention. The competing melodies confused the little rabbit and he did not know which way to turn .Unable to attract the little creature, both children gave up ;they walked away, in different directions, leaving the rabbit. . .alone.But, what if they listened ,what if they really heard each others music, instead of always playing their own tunes? When I hear the music of a violin ,rich with the joys of men and women who came together and sang and danced.. . I hear echoes of the music of the grass lands, of the hills, of the rivers...of my own native land.Is music mine and yours, or is it ours? What I want to hear is the er-hu and the violin played together, in rhythm and in tune. Together, we can produce new and beautiful music, rich with textures and sounds that can only be made in harmony. The rabbit sits in the grass in the ever-warming sun. Waiting for us to play, waiting for the symphony to begin. Will he have to wait forever? The choice is ours . Thank you.尊敬的评委、女士们、先生们:吉卜林说过,东方是东方,西方是西方,两者永不聚!然而如今,在一个世纪之后,东西方相聚了。

So I dance daily. The seldom-used dining room of my house is now an often-used ballroom — anopen space with a hardwood floor, stereo, and a disco ball. The CD-changer hassix discs at the ready: waltz, swing, country, rock-and-roll, salsa, andtango. Each morning when I walk through the house on the way to make coffee, Iturn on the music, hit the "shuffle" button, and it's Dance Time! I dance aloneto whatever is playing. It's a form of existential aerobics, a movingmeditation.Tango is a recent enthusiasm. It's a complex and difficult dance, so I'm upto three lessons a week, three nights out dancing, and I'm off to Buenos Airesfor three months of immersion in tango culture. The first time I went tango dancing I was too intimidated to get out on thefloor. I remembered another time I had stayed on the sidelines, when the dancingbegan after a village wedding on the Greek island of Crete. The fancy footworkconfused me. "Don't make a fool of yourself," I thought. "Just watch."Reading my mind, an older woman dropped out of the dance, sat down besideme, and said, "If you join the dancing, you will feel foolish. If you do not,you will also feel foolish. So, why not dance?"And, she said she had a secret for me. She whispered, "If you do not dance,we will know you are a fool. But if you dance, we willthink well of you fortrying."Recalling her wise words, I took up the challenge of tango.A friend asked me if my tango-mania wasn't a little ambitious. "Tango? Atyour age? You must be out of your mind!"On the contrary: It's a deeply pondered decision. My passion for tangodisguises a fearfulness. I fear the shrinking of life that goes with aging. Ifear the boredom that comes with not learning and not taking chances. I fear thedying that goes on inside you when you leave the game of life to wait in thefinal checkout line.I seek the sharp, scary pleasure that comes from beginning something new —that calls on all my resources and challenges my mind, my body, and my spirit, all at once.My goal now is to dance all the dances as long as I can, and then to sitdown contented after the last elegant tango some sweet night and pass on becausethere wasn't another dance left in me.So, when people say, "Tango? At your age? Have lost your mind?" I answer,"No, and I don't intend to."Robert Fulghum has written seven bestsellers including "All I Really Needto Know I Learned in Kindergarten." 英语比赛演讲稿篇一On March 14th, 20xx, professor Stephen William Hawking passed away. His contribution to inflationary cosmology has forever shifted our understanding of the universe. He wasn’t just a physicist for England, but for all mankind. His death marks the end of an era. He has passed the baton to a new generation of minds, to a new era. The exploration of nature waits for no man. So, are we ready to embrace the new era and new challenges? When I was a kid, professor Hawking was known to me as the author of A Brief History of Time. I bought a lot of science books back then, but they were really difficult to understand. Whenever I stumbled, I would turn to my physics teacher for help. We would go through pages and pages of materials together, whether it was middle scho ol stuff or Feynman’s lecture from Caltech, sometimes hours on end. I felt like we were tearing off the mask of nature and staring at the face of god. It was his guidance that encouraged me to study physics today. We’re living in an era in which science is embedded in people’s lives. From teachers who pass on knowledge, to construction workers who build labs; from organizations that provide funding, to scientists who conduct research, we all contribute to science in our own unique ways. We the people say we’re ready. On October 5th, 20xx, China finally had its first Nobel Prize in natural science. Ms. Tu Youyou’s work and her receiving themost prestigious science award made us proud. We’ve come this far because we’ve learned to work togethe r and let the ideas evolve. The dispute over the completeness of quantum mechanics, for example, was resolved in the 5th Solvay conference, attended by 29 physicists from 10 different countries who have won 15 Nobel Prizes combined. That was almost 100 yea rs ago. We’re all made of particles that have existed since thebeginning of the universe, I’d like to believe those particles traveled through countless eras to create us, so that we, the people, China, and the world, can stand on the shoulders of giants, march into the new era with our head held high, and make people like Professor Hawking proud.英语比赛演讲稿篇二When I was still a freshman in college, one Scottish professor complained to me about being overcharged at a grocery store. He explained that many business owners in China would assume that white “foreigners” are rich and unable to understand Chinese. My amiable professor, unwilling to start a conflict, would always pay the undue price even though he was only meagerly paid by my university and was able to speak perfect Mandarin. As a student of humanities, I’m particularly intrigued by the ramifications of cross-cultural encounters entailed by the new era. We have to bear in mind that whenever we talk about the new era, there is always an old era that keeps haunting us in various ways. Last year I went to the University of T okyo for a one-year exchange program. Before I left, my grandma seemed quite distraught and apprehensive: she told me to take care of myself as if I was about to go to the battlefield. But we Chinese are not the only ones infested by outdated misconceptions. When I was bidding farewell to my American professor at an academic writing class in Japan, she stopped me and asked me, “Are you really from China?” At first I thought she was pointing at my handsomeness, asking me whether I had been to Korea for plastic surgery. Well, clearly this is another stereotype that we should get rid of. But to my disappointment, she was actually referring to my E nglish skills. “I’ve never met any Chinese student who can talk and write like you do,” Shesaid, “You must have been stayed in the States for some time, haven’t you?” It does seem that even a specialist in linguistics can’t escape the illusion built up by the last generation of Chinese students: gauche and diffident, unable to articulate themselves in English.Nevertheless, such stereotypes are becoming a thing of the past. When professors around the globe meet with an increasing number of students from China with both language proficiency and academic competence, well-qualified students will no longer be a surprise. Moreover, with more people going abroad and enjoying firsthand encounters with different cultures, people like my grandma will no longer be subject to the fossilized, antiquated narrative of the past. The interesting thing is, after I told my grandma my experiences in Japan, how clean, safe and beautiful their cities are and how nice, polite and considerate their people are, she gladly removed Japan from the list of least-want-to-visit foreign countries and put it instead to the most-want-to-visit one.Even the shop owner near my campus is now repenting for his peccadillo. When gradually more international purchasers become his patrons, he would no longer treat them differently. And he would even occasionally call out for them, yelling “come, come,” “cheap, cheap,” “thanks thanks” with a very strong Chinese accent. Meanwhile, my Scottish professor has now equipped himself with Wechat and Alipay, assimilating seamlessly into the local life here. The old era is like a cocoon, protecting us from possible dangers outside and providing us with warmth and comfort. However, an overreliance on memories and experiences of a long-gone past can also hinder us from genuine, meaningfulinteractions for the future, just as the cocoon can also serve as a wall to bar us from the beautiful world outside. But in order to make a brand-new attire or to build a modern silk road, we have to plunge the cocoons into hot water and obtain the silk despite the pain. So ladies and gentlemen, don’t be trapped by the old era. Transcend it, and embrace the new one.Thank you.英语比赛演讲稿篇三Good morning, Ladies and Gentlemen,By the time we are born onto this land, our own Chinese story begins. Only when we put our stories together, can we discover something new.My mom was among the first generation in China to pick up a dual major, trade together with English. Her mom, my grandma, was a professor at the same college. And now, I am following my family’s footsteps, at the same university. I want to accomplish a dream that has been passed on for three generations. When grandma entered college, she was in the age of prime, but education wasn’t. It was an age when China had a literacy of merely over 50 percent; it was an age when one out of eight got enrolled by a university or college; it was an age when even the top-class universities in China were not recognized by the world. It was with the aspiration of changing education for the better that my grandma became a teacher, in pursuit of teaching students at home and learning more about the abroad. When my mother crossed the threshold of higher education into college, she was experiencing the tides of the Reform and Opening-up. It was an age when China was ready to embrace the world. With the demand for English talents staying high, she brought her talents to the field of international trade, with thehope of broadening her horizon and telling her international clients a Chinese story.30 years later, it is already a new era when I step into the classroom where my mom and my grandma studied. The ambience in the renovated classroom is urging me to embark on a new journey; yet on the bookshelf, the books passed on since my grandma’s age is reminding me of a dream that has never changed: becoming a language scholar with a global vision, and be a good narrator of the Chinese story.I took out my grandma’s notebook, which was already old and gray, trying to learn something new from the past. On the frontpage, wrote one of the earliest Chinese stories, taken from the Great Learning: “If you can do something new, then let it happen every day. With perseverance, every day becomes a new day.”It was the moment when I realized that there has been something unchanged in the new era: that is always equipping ourselves with the new ideas and keep in pace with the time which never waits. Only by bearing this virtue in our minds that has inherited by the Chinese people for 5,000 years, can we gain both the confidence and the competence in telling a good Chinese story to all.Tell the Chinese story to the Chinese people, for a new China with cultural confidence; tell the Chinese story to every global citizen, and together we build a community of prosperity, peace, and a shared future. The story of my mom, my grandma and myself will always remind me of the mission of a language learner.I’m now crossing the threshold into a New Era, and now I fell I am ready to tell a new Chinese story to new audience. Thank you very much!英语比赛演讲稿篇四My grandpa was among the first group of English teachers sent to Australia by the Chinese government in the 1980s, when our country first opened its door. Off the plane, a hospitable Australian taxi driver asked him, “Where are you going today?” “Where to die?” My grandpa was shocked. With very limited access to authentic English, he had no idea of the Australian pronunciation for the word “today”.My mom was much luckier in the 1990s when she went to college. She had recorded tapes of BBC and VOA news to listen to. When she stepped on the soil of England, she was much more confident. The first day after arrival, hungry and tired after a long flight, and with a Chinese stomach longing for hot food and drink, her only wish was to have a big breakfast. The British waitress approached her asked with a British accent completely comprehensible to her well trained ear, “Madam, would you like a Continental breakfast or an English breakfast?” Well, the European continent is much bigger than England, so must be the breakfast. She responded: “Continental Breakfast, please.” The waitress took the order and Mom was very satisfied about herself until she discovered the tiny breakfast of cold milk and iced juice, instead of fried bacon and also fried sausages.I went to an American university for a summer program last year. After watching a movie, I decided to take a bus back to my apartment. However the bus didn’t arrive as scheduled. After waiting for about 20 minutes in the darkness, I was very uneasy and also scared. I stood there, staring into the direction which the bus should come from. But there was no bus but a street singer singing some unknown songs with his noisy guitar. The wind brought a feeling of chill, and as more and more stores closedand fewer and fewer people passed by, I couldn’t help shivering in the cold darkness. Suddenly, a piece of familiar music flowed into my ear. It was the best-known Chinese folk song: the Jasmine Flower! He was playing the Jasmine Flower with his guitar. Automatically, I tuned my Chinese ears to the familiar and nostalgic melody, with my heart warmed and my eyes wet. He played that music again and again until the bus came and I went aboard .From strangeness, misunderstanding to cross cultural resonance, it takes three generations. The driving force behind the change is globalization, which offers opportunities for cultures to meet, to break down barriers between countries, and to bring peoples together. When the Chinese folk song played by an American street singer got me through coldness and fear, I also came to realize that intimate connection brought about by globalization and also cross cultural resonance can also help the world get through difficulties and disputes.Ladies and gentlemen, if you would ask me whether globalization is enough, I will definitely say “no”. Globalization is a powerful force available to us, enabling people to communicate, to help, and to warm, just like what the American street singer did to me at that cold and dark night.英语比赛演讲稿篇五“Globalization is a conspiracy.” my South African friend, Nuhu, once told me. I was in a shock while he explained, “It’s a game that we’re forced to play by the rules set by the superior westerners.” And by learning about the drive of the original globalization, the primitive accumulation of capital, I’m convinced that enough is enough. The unequal, violent exchange should have been enough since a long time ago. However, what we do see today is that China has risen up by selling our products around the globe and learning advanced technology from others. And Africa is also believed to be the next China, another economic hub in the near future. So, although this might be an unfair game to play like what Nuhu claims, what he fails to see is that globalization is the very ladder for nations, especially those at the bottom of the global hierarchy to climb up. This win-win globalization is not enough. We can have more of it.But what is the backlash? We have been fearing that the tide of globalization, the outpouring of western values will undermine our own. So when the global stage is not hearing a lot from the Chinese culture and not to mention the African culture, I guess Nuhu is onto something. The globalization that amplifies some cultures while extinguishing the others should have been enough since the very beginning. And yet that’s not the whole picture. We see that our traditional works like Sun Tzu’s Art of War being worshiped by businessmen around the globe makes us start to relook at it and appreciate it again. And the Nobel Prize awarding for Moyan’s literature leads us to reflect on the development of our villages. So in the past, only we, Chinese people protect and pass on Chinese culture; but now, the international scholars, professors or even just ordinary people all over the world who get interested in our culture are preserving it. The uniqueness not well-protected by us transforms into the diversity universally-respected by global citizens. It is because of globalization that China and its culture are truly on a global stage. So globalization is actually an on-going process that keeps surprising us while startling those worries and fears. It’s adynamic system that we should look for ways to utilize and enhance. But with the Brexit and the success of Trumpism, it seems major countries are all shifting away from globalization. But just because they are slowing down, making turns and adjusting themselves instead of peddling up, it doesn’t mean they are going for anti-globalization.We are at an unprecedented point where the world becomes ever so connected that we need to figure out the boundaries and balance between censorship and openness; sameness and differences; patriotism and global citizenship. It’s the best time that every nation should seek for a better role to play in the globalization where we should continue to make improvements on.It’s very understandable for nations to panic and make changes but we should never quit for it’s clear to us all that globalization is the only way that we seek for co-prosperity.Globalization is not a conspiracy planned already, but a beautifully unfinished song to be written by us all.Enough is SO NOT enough.。

英语口语比赛演讲稿1Good morning, ladies and gentlemen:Before western and Chinese civilization came into close contact, Chinese people had always longed for a life depicted in traditional Chinese paintings. Those paintings present a harmonious coexistence of people and other life forms. Regarded as the essence of ancient Chinese philosophies, harmony has been deeply-rooted in the minds of the Chinese people. On the one hand, it has contributed to the unique continuity of Chinese civilization. On the other, Chinese people became too much contented with their achievements to desire any further changes. As globalization deepens, it is bound to affect our ideal of harmony.First, globalization urges China to speed up its modernization, which threatens our regard for the harmony between Man and Nature. For instance, many dams and hydropower stations are being built for economic benefits at the expense of the well-preserved natural habitats. However, ecological malpractice of such kind goes against the notion of harmonious coexistence in ancient Chinese philosophies. More than 2,000 years ago, long before the concept of environmental protection came into being, DuJiang Weir, a great irrigation project was built in southwestern China's Sichuan province. Itsucceeded both in controlling floods and in facilitating the agriculture without posing a threat to the environment. Moreover, globalization has brought with it intense competition. Traditionally, moderation is a golden principle, presiding over inter-personal relations in China. Today, however, motivated to come to the top, some people become so self-centered that they choose to sacrifice love, friendship and even family ties.Last but not least, diverse cultures have met in China as a consequence of globalization. Therefore, a clash of cultures becomes inevitable. Unfortunately, the past decades have witnessed a huge loss of cultural heritage in China. In cities like Beijing and Xi'an, hundreds of century-old Chinese-style houses are being demolished to make room for skyscrapers, shopping malls and eight-lane expressways. From these examples, we see the disharmony brought about by globalization. Yet it is not globalization that is to blame. As long as we approach globalization with harmony in mind, its benefit will outweigh its cost. Take my hometown, Hangzhou, for example, thanks to the strenuous efforts made by the municipal government in achieving eco-development, various water birds have returned to the West Lake, calling it home again after years of migration elsewhere. From the lake bank, we see skateboarders and trick cyclists showing off together with people flying kites and kicking shuttlecocks on the plaza nearby. Although they compose a picture quite distinct from traditional Chinese paintings, this picture conveys a modern sense of harmony in this era of globalization.Ladies and gentlemen, to conclude, I would like to quote from British philosopher Bertrand Russell. In contrasting Chineseand Western civilizations, he observed: "The distinctive merit of western civilization is the scientific method; the distinctive merit of the Chinese is a just conception of the ends of life. It is these two that one must hope to see gradually uniting." As we see the tremendous progress China has been making drawing on experience abroad, we may also expect the Chinese traditional value of harmony to enrich the world. I look forward to the time when Russell's prophecy comes true.Thank you very much.英语口语比赛演讲稿2Seven centuries ago, Marco Polo, after staying in our country for almost twenty years, brought the secrets of spaghetti and ice-cream with him back to Italy. More than seven hundred years later, with the prevalence of globalization, our people, our food, our products and many other items, have traveled to many other places beyond Italy. No matter where these Chinese people, Chinese food, Chinese products and many other Chinese items are, they carry with them qualities that are unique to our very own Chinese culture - our traditional values. In the whole process of globalization that the world is integrating politically, economically and culturally, into one, we do witness in our country a great influx of western culture and values - McDonald's, KFCs, soccer players and NBA players. And we are even having this prestigious national speaking competition in a language that does not belong to us. In the midst of western products pouring in China as a result of globalization, sometimes we do wonder, where does our own culture belong? When we see our younger generations going away from traditional values such as contextual and role-based ethics, ideal of community, hierarchy, paternalism and non-litigious nature of society, we may even think our traditional values are challenged and even threatened. But, are we really losing our values?Ladies and gentlemen, we must remember, the traffic of globalization is two-way. Yes, films from Hollywood, soccer from the United Kingdom and restaurants from America, do have an impact on our values. But, if we see globalization in China a synonymous term with western economic cultural hegemony, we are underestimating the impact of not only globalization but also our values.Have a look at languages. Yes, it is the desire and dream of every single Chinese to speak fluent English, including every single one of us here. But, have you ever wondered how many non-Chinese are learning Chinese? Let me tell you, by the end of 20xx, nearly 30 million people from 85 countries and regions were learning standard Chinese, Putonghua. And who knows about the number of people learning regional dialects such as Shanghainese and Cantonese. In these two years, I am sure none of us here will be surprised that the number is skyrocketing.Have a look at Feng Shui, within 0.21 seconds Google brings you 1,270,000 websites about Feng Shui, not in Chinese, not from all over the world, but in English, just within the United States. And I guess some of you still remember, when the previous American president, Bill Clinton, first became president. He actually had the furniture of his office rearranged according to feng shui ideas.Have a look at traditional Chinese medicine. Four years ago, in 20xx, there were already more than 120 000 traditional Chinese medicine practitioners, researchers and related business trading companies in Europe, just Europe. Our holistic approach of takingcare of a person's health has been proven popular in the world. Our values, language, our Feng Shui, our traditional medicine and also Kung Fu that I have not really talked about, are all parts and messengers of our culture and values. What does their success in the west tell us? Their popularity tells us that, alongside cheap consumer products, we are exporting to the west, Chinese beliefs and, values.Ladies and gentlemen, globalization, yes it has its impacts on our values. It is sending our values overseas and bringing in new ones. Let's not see the bringing in of new ones a threat to our own culture. As a matter of fact, the bringing in is a very good opportunity and time to rethink and reflect who we are and what we want to be. It is upon us whether globalization has a positive or negative impact on our traditional values. Ladies and gentlemen, I see this positively, I know even if our traditional values are changing or to change, the change is for better, not for worse.Thank you very much.英语口语比赛演讲稿3Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen:When I was in the primary school, I have a dream. I want to invent a device which could bring you from one place to another in no time at all. When I was in the secondary school, my dream was to study in my ideal university. And when eventually I got into the university, my dream was to graduate. How pathetic! When we grow up, we dream less and become more realistic. Why? Why do we have to change our dreams, so, so in order to let it be "fulfilled"? Why do we have to surrender to the so-called "reality"? What IS the reality actually?Ladies and gentlemen, the reality is not real. It is a barrierkeeping us from all the possible fantasies. Flying, for example, had been a dream to mankind for thousands of years. A hundred years ago, "man could not fly" was still regarded as the "reality". Now if that was really the reality, what did the Wright brothers do? How did some of you get to Macau? Only when we believe that the reality is not real can we soar with our dreams.People say that our future is a battle between the reality and our dreams. And if, unfortunately, Mr. Reality wins this war, then I see no future of mankind at all. AIDS will never be curable as this IS the reality; People living in the undeveloped countries will suffer from starvation forever as this IS the reality; 4)Disputes among different countries would never be settled as this misunderstandings and intolerance IS the reality.Ladies and gentlemen, how many of you have a dream of being able to make a lot of money? Please raise your hands. Oh, quite a number of you! Actually, ladies and gentlemen, this is not a dream, but a task. Every one of us has to make a living, right? Anyway I hope your task will be accomplished. How many of you think that you have already fulfilled your dream and that you don't dream anymore? Dear 5)adjudicators, what do you think?C.S. Lewis once said, "You are never too old to dream a new dream." So for our future, please dream and be unrealistic. Now that I am a university student, my goal is to graduate with excellences. But at the same time, I have a dream deeply rooted in our future. One day, people living in the areas now 6)sweltering with the horror of wars will be able to sit with their families and enjoy their every moment. One day, people from the rich countries are willing to share what they have with those from the poor countries and those from the poor countries will eventually be able to make their own happy living themselves. One day, different cultures in this age of globalization will coexist with tolerance and the unfriendly confrontations among them will be 7)eliminated. One day, the globe will share the dream with me and we will all contribute to making our dream come true. One day, our dream will defeat the reality! Thank you very much. 英语口语比赛演讲稿4I have a friend who just started his career as a teacher in a primary school. Weeks ago, he asked me to raise a topic for his mid-term composition test. I was curious why he chose me to give a topic, because he is a teacher himself. He said that he wanted something the students can really show their different ideas. Without thinking, I told him to let his students write about what they would do if they were given one million US dollars. My friend left with satisfaction, and I fell into my old memories. It reminded me of my old days in primary school. We were learning to do narration in the fifth grade's Chinese class. Our teacher required us to write a composition with the topic "My Most Unforgettable Day" with our real experience. When papers came back, half of the students wrote about the first day they came to school. The rest of the compositions were all about picking money on the streets and giving it to policemen, or helping a blind man cross the street. Of course I was among them. But I remember very clearly, that one student, only one student gave something different. He wrote about the day that he first kissed a girl. I read his composition. After all these years, I can't recite every word, but I dare to say, that even Shakespeare, may not be able to write as equally good when he was 11 years old. The composition was written out of real experience and genuine emotions. Contrary to those fake stories, it sounds real and natural. But the kid was scored zero. Ourteacher thought the content was unhealthy, I'm sure you know the meaning of this Chinglish word "unhealthy".That was 15 years ago. When you read those compositions, and you feel that half of our population is blind, so all those kids could have a chance to help a blind man cross the street, and every one of us has a hole in our pocket, so all those kids could have a chance to pick up the lost money and give it to policemen.A few days ago, my friend sent me an e-mail of all the copies of his students' compositions. I have to say, I was sadly disillusioned.Among those papers 40% said that they wanted to donate the money to people in poverty, so their children can go to school. The rest compositions are much more alike. Some wanted to support the panda protection project, some wanted to buy books to enlarge their knowledge. One student even said that he would like to spend his one million dollars on the effort to cure AIDS. I was more astonished to find that a ten- year-old child knew what AIDS really is.We all have been kids, and we knew what we had once wanted. But, there was no composition about spending the money on video games, nice clothes, chocolates, ice-creams and expensive toys. Like 15 years ago, students won't tell the truth of their hearts. It has always been our dream to open our children's hearts. We encourage them to describe their dreams, and acted as if we are ready to accept their thoughts. But the fact is that, children are scared by the zero marked on their papers. They are trained to say what we want to hear.People compare children to flowers of tomorrow. And parents dream about the scenery that roses, tulips, daffodilsflourish in the future. But down the road we are going on, in the future, or the future of future, only one kind of flower can be found. And that's the flower we like most.英语口语比赛演讲稿5尊敬的各位老师、同学们:大家早上好!我的名字叫xxx,今年12岁了。
our future: a battle between dreams and reality good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen: when i was in the primary school, i have a dream. i want to invent a device which could bring you from one place to another in no time at all. when i was in the secondary school, my dream was to study in my ideal university. and when eventually i got into the university, my dream was to graduate. ladies and gentlemen, the reality is not real. it is a barrier keeping us from all the possible fantasies. flying, for example, had been a dream to mankind for thousands of years. a hundred years ago, man could not fly was still regarded as the reality. now if that was really the reality, what did the wright brothers do? how did some of you get to macau? only when we believe that the reality is not real can we soar with our dreams. people say that our future is a battle between the reality and our dreams. and if, unfortunately, mr. reality wins this war, then i see no future of mankind at all. aids will never be curable as this is the reality; people living in the undeveloped countries will suffer from starvation forever as this is the reality; 4)disputes among different countries would never be settled as this misunderstandings and intolerance is the reality. 主持人:thank you. 曹丰:thank you. 问题:now in the age of the internet, reading books does not seem as important as it once was.do you think people can learn as much on the internet as they can by reading books?which method do you prefer?
