Unit 5 On the Beach教学设计

(第4课时)

【教学内容】

Part 5,Part 6

【教学目标】

(一)知识与技能

1.能在图片的提示下听懂、理解小短文并了解不同海滩的相关背景知识。

2.能理解并学唱歌曲Come along to the beach。

(二)过程与方法

1.以小组合作与情景教学为主,运用游戏帮助学生理解与运用所学知识;2.指导学生通过听音获取正确的信息,掌握一定的听音技巧。

(三)情感、态度与价值观

帮助学生了解不同地区的海洋、海滩环境等。

【教学重点】

使学生理解一些表达如Lots of beautiful starfish. Most of the time, the water is too cold. I like swimming in the warm water.等。学习单词island, starfish, tourist, sand, snorkel, clear等。

【教学难点】

学生能通过听音获取正确的信息且理解短文内容;掌握一些新单词和表达;比较文中两个不同地区海滩情况;在Come along to the beach歌曲学习中,学习新单词和表达。

【教学准备】

写有表示英文单词的卡片、教材相配套的录音带

【教学过程】

Step 1 Warming up

全班讨论本地海滩特点情况(海滩上有什么,海滩上可以做什么),引出本课话

题。

Step 2 Revision

引导学生复述上课时学习的海豹的小故事。

Step 3 Look, read and listen

1.学生打开课本到第42页,自主阅读两段短文,通过回答问题Who lives on the

island in Canada? Who lives in Sanya? 初步了解文章大意。

2.老师提问: What do you know about the island in Canada? What do you know

about Sanya? 引导学生找出两处海滩的相关信息,并适时板书和教授新内容:You cannot swim there very often. There are always many tourists on the beach.

学生进一步理解短文内容。

3.老师再次播放录音,学生逐句跟读。

Step 4 Act out

学生根据提示或者老师引导复述两篇短文。

Step 5 Listen and sing the song

1.学生打开课本到第43页,仔细观察图片,通过回答问题What can we do on the

beach? What’s the weather like on the beach? 为学习歌曲做好铺垫。

2.老师播放录音,学生初步感受歌曲旋律及内容。

3.老师再次播放录音数遍,学生逐句跟唱歌曲,并适时学习相关内容:Come

along, snorkel, have fun in the sun等。

4.学生再次演唱歌曲,可采用多种形式,如师生对唱、男女对唱、分组对唱等。Step 6 Summary

老师让学生看黑板上的板书或课件,与学生一起回顾本课所学的重要单词、句型及表达。

Step 7 Homework

用所学表达描述自己了解的海滩情况。(老师可给出特定的海滩图片让学生描述)【板书设计】

Eat a cake. (2)教师举起小木棍教stick,然后拿着手上的小木棍问:How many sticks?Count,please. One,two,…带读count。 3、Practice (1)操练Let’s chant a.先让学生听录音,用手指表示数字。 b.全班跟着录音读,要求边读边做动作。如:How are you?同桌两人要对
