Police officers have two main jobs. They help keep people safe and they protect people’s property(财产). They do these things in many ways. They answer calls for help. Some may direct traffic. Others try to find out how an accident happened. They try to catch criminals(罪犯). Police officers are the people whom we turn to for help when we feel unsafe.
