Grammar: 形容词的比较级，最高级变化规则

A,单音节和少数多音节的形容词

1.一般在词尾加上-er,-est: great—greater—greatest

2.以不发音 e 结尾只加-r,-st: nice—nicer—nicest

3.以辅-元-辅(1)，末尾只有一个辅音字母结尾的重读闭音节，双写这一辅音字母,再加-er,-est:

big-bigger-biggest

4. 辅音字母+y 结尾的形容词将-y 去掉，然后加-ier,-iest：

happy--happier--happiest easy--easier--easiest

narrow--narrower--narrowest

B.部分双音节和多音节词

1.在前面加 more,most:

difficult—more difficult—most difficult polite--more polite--most polite

2.分词形容词前的比较和最高级，一般在其前加 more,most:

物: more interesting--most interesting 人:more tired--most tired

注意： 不规则变化：

good/well--better--best bad/ill--worse--worst

little--less--least much/many--more--most

far--farther-farthest（只指距离） far--further--furthest（指距离，常指程度）
