On the job-hunting situation
As we can see from the drawing above, a man sitting in a boat in the middle of the job-hunters’sea looking for the suitable candidate for his company. Around him, there are hundreds of job-hunters who look anxious and depressed. Obviously, the competitive situation of the job market means that job-hunting is no easy task.
Affected by the global financial crisis, the job-hunting situation, especially in big cities, has become increasingly fierce in recent years, which has aroused the great concern of the whole society. The job-hunting problem not only influences the interests of individuals, but also relates to the country’s economic construction and social stability. Due to the college expansion plan, university students’ employment has also become one of the most important social problems. However, we are glad to see that to solve the problem, our government has takes many effective measure to help students get their jobs, such as encouraging students to become self-employed and calling on students to make contributions in less developed cities.
In my personal sense, on one hand, job-hunters, including university students, should get a better understanding of the competitive situation. On the basis of their perception of their own advantages and disadvantages and the job market, they can make a careful decision on their future jobs. On the other hand, they should prepare in every detail to ensure their search for a new career.
