写英语作文题几点要求:

一、大学英语四级考试写作时间为30分钟,长度为不少于120个英文单词;6级不少于150字。要求主题明确、思路清晰、内容完整、上下文连贯、英文语句通顺、句式有一定的变化、结尾要与主题呼应。

二、书写工整、清楚。字迹潦草看不清或字母与字母挤得太紧造成看不清者容易因阅卷教师看不清而得低分。长度超过120字不加分也不扣分,但少于120字者每少10个字扣1分,长度少于70个字者、6级少于90字者一般最多5到6分。文不对题者一般判为0分。

三、阅卷是采用整体印象打分,一般按3分为一个档次:0~2;3~5;6~8;9~11;12~14;15分为满分,一般单独计算。作文得分低于最低分要求6分者实行倒扣分。如第一部分的听说、阅读理解、词汇、与完型填空(或简短回答或翻译)共85分部分得了60分,而作文得了5分,两

者相加为65分,但被倒扣6分后最终的得分为59分。所以,同学们一定要重视写好英文作文,一旦作文被倒扣分十有八九你的大学英语四级考试就玩完。

写英语作文题几点建议:

一、多背一些常用、实用的英语句型。

二、在理解的基础上熟练背诵不同题材的英文范文6~8篇。

三、多模仿英文作文范文自己练习写作文。

英文作文写作的模块与基本思路与方法一、大学英语写作的模块基本可分为7大模块:1)观点模块2)利弊模块3)选择模块4)为什么模块5)如何模块6)图表模块7)书信模块

二、基本思路与方法

大学英语四、六级作文为命题式引导性作文。所谓命题式作文是指已明确给考生所写作文的标题;所谓引导是指已给出要求考生在所给标题下写作文的范围。考生应根据所给范围思考并组织要写的内容,不要超出限

定的内容范围。

例如:2000年6月的作文标题为:Is A Test of Spoken English Necessary?

引导范围或限定范围为:

1.很多人认为有必要举行英语口语考试,理由是......

2.也有人持不同的意见,......

3.我的看法和打算

这一作文标题可分为两部分理解。1)主题为A Test of Spoken English 2)限定范围为是否需要Necessary。对于是否需要英语口语考试已经给你限定,即:1和2两个内容。考生所需要思考的是1:需要思考的是理由;2不需要考的理由。

1、先列出需要考的理由如:a)学语言目的就是要进行语言交流,而口语的好坏对顺利完成思想、信息、情感的交流至关重要。b)随着改革开放,中外交流越来越频繁,这就需要我们有较好的口语表达能力与外国朋友沟通交流。c)相对于书面文字交流,口语具有直接、快速、方便的优势。d)对于大多数中国学生而言英语口语表达

能力不强,为了使学生对英语口语重要性有更好的认识就有必要举行英语口语考试。

2、不同意见也即不需要考英语口语的理由如:a)相对而言在生活和工作中真正能和老外打交道的并不是大多数,因此对大部分学生而言考口语没必要,甚至是浪费时间和精力,只要一小部分人的口语好就行。b)英语口语只有在老外的真实环境中才能学好。

3、我的看法部分就更简单了。如果我是赞成英语口语考试的,那么只要重复一下英语口语的重要性就行。然后打算多读、多听、多背、好好练习,把口语学好。如果我是反对英语口语考试的,那么只要表示反对就行,然后打算把节省下来的时间用于更好地学习其他功课或我更感兴趣的东西。要记住的关键一点就是不管赞成还是反对,我应该捡我能用英文表达的内容写,以便完成120个英文字以上的英文作文写作要求,能顺利通过大学英语4级考试。

有了较完整的思路和内容之后就可进行写作了,记住你能想到的内容可能较

多或有些内容可能你没能力用英语写出来,你应该选几个你能用英语写的内容,舍去你不会写的部分内容。因为阅卷教师不可能知道你想到过多少内容。只要文章总体内容比较完整、通顺、连贯就OK了。

Is A Test of Spoken English Necessary?

People differ in their points of view as to whether a test of spoken English is necessary or not. Many people think it is quite necessary to have a test of spoken English. They think the purpose of learning a foreign language is to exchange ideas and spoken English plays a very important part. With the practice of open and reform policy, more and more foreign friends are coming to China to make a tour, to set up factories and companies, to do business or even to

work. This makes it necessary for us to communicate with them in English, as it has already become a world language. Compared with written English, spoken English is faster and more convenient. However, to the majority of us Chinese students, we are poor in spoken English. Thus,a test of spoken English is necessary to make us realize its importance.

Still, there are others who think a test of spoken English is not all that necessary. After all, a great many people do not have the chance of meeting foreigners either in their life or in their work. To their mind, learning to speak English well is rather difficult and may even be considered a waste of time and energy.

I think a test of spoken English is rather necessary. It will surely help prompt us to learn spoken English well and make us well prepared for our life beyond the campus.

超出限定范围的事例:

People differ in their points of view as to whether a test of spoken English is necessary or not. Many people think it is quite necessary to have a test of spoken English. For example, I like to travel because I think traveling will allow me to see many different people and things that I have never seen or met before. 点评:

文章开头写的是笼统的people,代词也用第三人称的they, 但紧接着举例时转到我I上来了,而且重点也转到我喜欢旅游上来了。最后总结时说most people believe…也就不具备代表性。属跑题、偏离主题。

思路太窄,不能很好地就限定的提纲进行有效的扩展。例如:

People differ in their points of view as to whether a test of spoken English is necessary or not. Many people think it is quite necessary to have a test of spoken English.Because many people think it is necessary, we must try to speak English well. Because we want to speak English well, a test of English is necessary. And because spoken English is tested, many people must learn it well, or they will not pass it and

can’t graduate. So I think a test of English is necessary.

点评一二:

一、许多人认为有必要是主观的认识,文章需要的是客观事实与需要,所以不能作为理所当然的依据和理由。

二、因为许多人想学好英语口语也是主观的认识,不能作为进一步扩展文章的理由。

三、因为英语口语要考这一结论也不恰当。在还没能论述清楚英语口语考试是否要必要之前,你凭什么说spoken English 就一定要考呢?

一、主题句的写作

段落是文章的基本构成部分,因此掌握写段落的要领是学习写文章的第一步。一个好的段落具有以下三个特征:一致性,连贯性,阐述完整。其中一致性要求段落里的句子一定要都指向一个主要内容,换言之,就是每个句子都不能偏离该段落的主题句。连贯性和阐述完整将在以后的章节中介绍。

1、主题句的定义和位置

主题句或表明作者的观点态度,或指出作者的写作意图,或概括文章的内容,反映了一段文章的中心思想,是段落发展的依据,也是保证一个段落前后一致的前提。因此,主题句写得是否妥切是一段文章写得成功与否的关键。

主题句可以放在段落的开始,中间或结尾处。不管主题句放在哪个位置,写作段落的时候,头脑里要一直想着主题句,确保每一个支持句都指向主题句,以免使用了偏离主题句的材料,影响段落的一致性。

2、主题句的构成

Topic Sentence = Topic + Controlling idea 例如:Fake products are dangerous to our

society. Topic

Controlling idea

通常topic是指段落描述或讨论的对象。而controlling idea是一个词或短语,说明段落主题是关于什么内容的。

3、如何拟定恰当的主题句

首先主题句要清楚明了,不能含糊其辞;

其次,主题句要恰如其分地概括该文章的内容。好的主题句既不能太过宽泛,也不能太过狭窄。

例如:TOPIC: go to college

TOO GENERAL: I want to go to college.

TOO NARROW: I want to get a college degree.

PROPER: There are several reasons why I go to college.

一、比较合适的主题句:

1、There are many ways to help you to learn English well.

2、Independence is very important in our lives.

3、It’s difficult for our Chinese students to learn the English language.

4、Nowadays, supermarkets are gaining popularity in China.

5、I enjoy classical music for several reasons.

6、There is not much similarity between the two brothers.

二、主题句内容太窄:

1、写主题句应避免的问题

(1)主题句不能是一个对事实的具体叙述,因为这样就没有controlling idea可以提问了。

如:1. If a product is a copy of other product, it is a fake commodity.

2. A car drives faster than a bicycle.

(2)尽量不以简单的个人意见做主题句,因为“I think”, “I like”这类表达很难在controlling idea中用事实来支持。如:

(1) I think English is difficult to learn.

(2) I like to read a book in bed.

下面再举一些内容狭窄的主题句:

(1) You can buy the shirt at a discount shop

for RMB15.

(2) W e celebrate Christmas on December 25.

(3) I smoke three packs of cigarettes a day.

(4) My uncle is a businessman.

(5) It is my opinion that smoking causes cancer.

三、主题句内容太宽、太笼统:

1、避免使用抽象的内容,内容太抽象使你无法就主题的内容进行扩展,有难以为继的苦恼。

如:Music is enjoyable.

可把它改为:Music, especially rock music, with its strong rhythms and beats, is enjoyable.

下面是对内容太笼统或太抽象的主题句的一些修改思路:

(1) T oo general: Sports and games are very useful.

Improved: Sports and games are beneficial to both our health and strong will.

(2) Too general: American food is terrible. Improved: American food is tasteless and greasy.

(3) Too general: Television is very important.

Improved: Television brings us a vivid world.

(4) Too general: One needs to know how to write a good outline.

Improved: Six steps in writing a good outline should be followed by any college student.

(5) Too general: Pollution is destructive.

Improved: pollution is destructive in many ways.

四、写好主题句的诀窍

为了把主题句限定到一个合适的范围,可以从以下几个方面有效地组织主题句:1、从数量的角度去考虑。如:many ways; six steps; various factors; 2、从原因的角度去考虑。如:several reasons; the following reasons; many reasons 3、从相同点或不同点去考虑。如:many differences; different in may ways; There are many similarities between learning English and Chinese; 4、从范围的角度去考虑。如:in some cities in China; very popular among young people;

5、从某一方面或某几个方面去考虑。如:the positive aspects; the negative aspects; some favorable factors; in many areas;

6、从原因的角度去考虑。如:many causes; different causes; 等。

如何展开段落写作

在拟定好主题句之后,接下来就是如何根据主题句确定的范围进行扩展,充实、完善主题句的内容。在应试作文中可使用的方法为:1、因果法(cause & effect);2、比较对比法(comparison & contrast);3、举例法(exemplification);4、列举法(listing)

1、因果法(cause & effect)

在应试作文中经常就某个社会热点问题要求考生用英语分析其原因,这时因果法就自然而然的派上用场。通常这种作文题目是以问题的形式出现的。

如:1995.6月的作文题:Should Fire Crackers Be Banned?

一看到这样的标题考生就应该明白fire crackers是个问题,对是否需要banned说说你的看法。你的任务就是说明原因。一般情况下你因该先提出结果,后论述原因。

标题:Should Fire Crackers Be Banned? 限定范围:1、有人认为放鞭炮是好事,为什么?

2、有人认为放鞭炮是坏事,为什么?

3、我的看法。

The practice of setting fire crackers has been officially banned in some cities in China. However, different people have different views as to whether firecrackers should be banned or not.

本文主题为:setting off firecrackers, 控制范围为:officially banned in some cities in China,在本文中banned也是结果。采用的写作手法为:因果法+列举法。这一点是关键。因为我们不可能自始至终因为…, 所以…。因为…,所以…。只要读者明白你在讲原因,那么第二、第三、甚至第四、第五肯定也是了。因此务必记住用因果法展开段落时与列举法相结合。本文是一个很好的例子。

第二段中的because, also, what’s more, 和第三段中的first, second, worst of all 应该给大家一个很好的示范。同学们应该多模仿,多练习。

因果法常用的词语、过渡词或短语有:

1、because, since, now that, for, as,

2、reason, several reasons, various reasons, following reasons, for this reason,

3、cause, result in, lead to; be caused by, result from, stem from, as a result of; as a result, with the result that…,
