三、单元教学建议

1. 地球是人类的家园,她给人类提供了生存的空间和资源,使人类在这里生息繁衍。现在,全球面临资源短缺、环境污染、生态破坏这三大危机,作为地球公

民,师生有责任就“保护地球”这一话题进行探讨。教师在教学过程中要紧密联系生活实际,引导学生热爱地球、保护地球。

2. 本单元围绕话题“保护地球”,主要学习句型use… to…的用法。本单元还再现了情态动词should的用法,教师可以结合学生用书五年级下册Unit 4的语言知识设计教学活动,让学生更熟练地操练并掌握其用法。

3. 本单元的目标词汇大部分是有关资源的不可数名词,教师可以综合以前学过的不可数名词water, juice, cola, rice, meat, soup, milk, tea, coffee, bread, honey等,结合there be句型和some, many, a lot of, any等表示数量的词,设计教学活动,使学生更好地理解不可数名词的概念和用法。

4. 教师课前可收集一些有关浪费和滥用自然资源和白色污染等方面的图片或者视频,待课上和学生分享讨论。教师也可以安排学生收集一些相关图片,了解相关话题。

5. 建议用五至六课时完成本单元教学内容。
