摘要:本文结合自己多年的英语教学经验,就大学生英语阅读中存在的现状进行分析,并对解决问题的方法进行了深入的研究和探讨。将有助于学生了解自己在英语阅读学习中存在的真实情况和不足,并提供了相应的解决方法,也有助于教师改进教学方法,提高教学效果,切实提高学生的英语阅读能力。

一、英语阅读能力偏低的原因

随着我国对外开放的进一步扩大,对外交流的领域也越来越广,在日益频繁的交流中,作为世界最广泛应用的语种之一的英语就显得尤为重要,只有这样才能适应我国社会发展和国际交流的需要。为此,国家在改革之初就开始注重对英语语言能力的学习。并把这一计划落实到了整个教育过程之中。而作为获取英语语言知识,了解外部信息,提高英语语言实践能力的重要手段之一的英语阅读的重要性便由此而凸显出来。不仅在义务教育中,而且也已经成为大学英语教学中最重要的任务。但是,由于自身条件的限制等多种因素的制约,致使英语阅读能力显得仍然偏低、阅读速度偏慢、阅读理解题失分较多的情况。究其原因主要表现在以下几个方面:(一)英语基础知识不扎实
