旅游管理专业《旅游情境英语》说课稿

一、课程设置

(一)课程的基本信息

本课程的授课对象为高职旅游管理专业二年级的学生,共128个学时,其中理论学时为86个学时,实践学时为46个学时。

(二)课程定位

本课程为我院旅游管理专业的一门专业核心课程。培养从事涉外导游、涉外企业经营管理和服务的高素质技能型人才。

本课程的前导课程有大学英语、旅游学概论,同步课程有旅游情境英语实训,后续课程有模拟导游和导游资格证考证实训。

(三)课程目标

1、素质目标

(1)提高学生的心理素质和服务意识;

(2)培养学生的团队精神及敬业精神;

(3)培养学生的爱国情怀,使之成为传播我国文化的纽带。

2、知识目标

(1)熟悉旅游情境英语的基本词汇、句型、表达方式;

(2)掌握旅游服务与接待过程中发生的相关英语会话和专业术语;

(3)掌握湖南省主要旅游景点的英文导游词。

3、能力目标

(1)能为外国客人办理预定、入住接待及结账服务;

(2)能为外国客人办理用餐预定、接待及结账服务;

(3)能在机场迎送国际旅游团队并致以导游欢迎词和欢送词;

(4)能用英文介绍湖南省、长沙市以及湖南省主要旅游景点;

(5)能用英文介绍中国传统文化;

(6)能为国际旅游团队提供全程旅游服务。

二、课程设计

(一)理念与思路

依据旅游的六大要素——吃、住、行、游、购、娱,本课程设置了六个学习情境:住宿、餐饮、交通、游览、购物、娱乐。另根据涉外旅游服务的工作任务,设置了四个学习情境:迎接客人、欢送客人、湖南景点讲解、中国旅游文化讲解。因此,本课程共设置了十个学习情境。

每一个学习情境由易到难分为三个层次:词汇、对话和讲解,要求每一位学生都必须掌握上述三个层次的知识和能力。

根据本课程的教学目标、内容和学生特点,灵活选用了任务驱动法、案例分析法、分组讨论发、角色扮演发、启发引导发等教学方法,引导学生积极思考、乐于实践,有效地培养学生的职业能力,提高教学效果。

四、教学条件

课程的实施需要以下硬件的支撑:多媒体教室、语音室、导游实训室、前厅客房实训室、中西餐实训室、景点视频等。

本课程选用的教材有:实用旅游英语,杨华,中国人民大学出版社

旅游英语,南凡,高等教育出版社

此外,本课程要充分利用网络资源,补充课程内容,鼓励学生利用网络资源来完成每一个任务。
